Specter the defector ... Time to elect a real conservative!

As you all have heard, Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania has switched from the Republican Party to the Democrat Party. This was not an unexpected move on the part of Spector since he has voted along Democrat lines and sided with far left radicals on a umber of issues for quite some time now. By leaving the GOP he actually done the party a favor by opening a position to fill with a real conservative traditional leaning American. In the PA primary there is such a candidate. His name is Pat Toomey and he is a real conservative American who will not betray the American people who do not want a socialist liberal utopian government. His standing is the same as most Americans. It’s time for Americans to take back America and reclaim our soverignty, our Christian heritage, and our freedom by throwing out the liberal bums who want to “change” America into the country that the founders never meant for it to be. It’s time to take back our country - starting by electing Pat Toomey for Senate to replace Arlen Specter. Public opinion can be very fickle. Barack Obama has ridden a positive wave of opinion all the way to the White House. The public has welcomed him into office in that same spirit of hope in which he ran. Since the inauguration, however, the president is showing he has different plans than the ones he spoke about during the campaign. It should come as no surprise when the public turns on him just as easily as he has turned on them.

The contradictions between Obama’s words and actions are many. He opposes big government, and then he vastly expands it. He says he favors bipartisanship, but doesn’t practice it. He says he is against earmarks, and then signs the largest pork package in history. And that is just to name a few.

Such inconsistencies are contributing to a lack of confidence in Obama and his economic policies. The budget deficits he proposes are staggering. The trillions of dollars he wants to spend are incomprehensible. There is no evidence that stimulative government spending even works. Obama is apparently racing to remake America in a socialist mold before public sentiment turns against him. One wonders whether his political capital will run out before financial capital of the country runs out.

There is simply no way the government can pay for this level of spending unless it prints money it doesn’t have and debases the dollar. His numbers do not add up. Larger deficits are not the solution to a debt crisis.

Not that it is Obama’s fault, but throw in Social Security and Medicare benefits to be paid in the future, and we effectively have placed the U.S. government in bankruptcy. Jerome Corsi recently reported in WorldNetDaily that: “The $65.5 trillion total federal obligations under GAAP accounting not only now exceed four times the U.S. gross domestic product, or GDP, the $65.5 trillion deficit exceeds total world GDP.” Obama addresses this looming crisis only in generalities, but his spending plans bring national bankruptcy closer to reality.

Yet Obama doesn’t really care what happens to the economy. His overriding goal is for government is to become Big Brother. He claims that by redoing health, education and energy policies he can cure the economy. It is a ruse by which government can control ever more of our daily life.

If he truly wanted the economy to improve, Obama would simply make the Bush tax cuts permanent. Having some certainty about low tax rates would do much to help the economy. But that does not fit with his plans to enact the most radical social change we have ever seen.

Over the past decade, the United States has become ever more dependent on foreign investment in its Treasury Bills, primarily by China and Japan. The willingness of these investors to continue to purchasing trillions in U.S. debt has become ever more questionable as they have seen the U.S. economy deteriorate. If they ever walk away, our economy could collapse.

So, where does this all leave Barack Obama?

In the past, excessive taxation and spending policies have caused the economy to contract. High unemployment then followed, and increased government spending caused the budget deficit to soar. The central bank then tried to solve the problem by printing more money leading to higher inflation. The currency then depreciated, and international competitiveness was lost, leading to more unemployment.

Usually by this point an alarmed public turns to conservatives to clean up the mess. Think Margaret Thatcher in 1979, and Ronald Reagan in 1980. Could this pattern portend the end for Barack Obama? Not necessarily. Before conservatives can recover, Obama is hoping to shift the fundamental structure of our economy away from individual self-reliance toward a type of Euro-socialism. We will see which way it plays out.

It’s a shame Obama uses his oratory gifts to punish rather than inspire personal achievement. He will likely continue on his merry path until his polls collapse and the public rejects him. The tipping point may be an international incident such as an Arab-Israeli war, Russian aggression, or some other crisis. With the weak domestic economy, and an Obama kumbaya response in a time of emergency, the whole illusion of “change you can believe in” could be laid bare.

Hopefully by the time the bloom comes off this fanciful presidency conservatives will have found their voice. Will Obama then reinvent himself with some Bill Clinton-style triangulation plan? Probably not. More likely, he has already shown us his best act and will slowly morph into a finger-pointing demagogue as his polls fade. If anyone else were president and deceptively trying to enact his programs, a full-scale revolt would already be underway.

But for now, Obama is still a curiosity to whom many are willing to give a chance. Political correctness still holds sway, and so-called “tea parties” are about as rebellious as it gets. In due time, the public will judge this man and his policies more clearly, and calls to stop him will grow louder. Let’s hope it’s not too late before that happens.

Unrest Could Lead To Separation of the Union

One cannot doubt the unrest seen in the US now. Obama won the presidential election by 54-46, but that 46% is almost half the country. The ‘us versus them’ mindset has taken over. When one hears words like “secede”, “rebellion”, and “revolution”, things get scary.

Then we get national “tea parties”, and we recently hear from Texas governor Rick Perry actually say separation (by Texas) from the Union is a possibility if Washington continues to show their inattention to people’s needs [Perry fires up anti-tax crowd].

Information from Judge Andrew Napolitano reveals that Department of Homeland Security (DHS) warns of a rise in Right-Wing Extremism. A daughter of a couple attending a tea party in Kansas spoke of the mainstream media referring to the same thing: right-wing extremism at a tea party.

As Napolitano exclaims, the document lumps together in its definition of “rightwing extremism” hate groups, anti-government groups, and single issue groups “such as opposition to abortion or immigration”. Already it is known that there will now be more than 1.3 million deaths/yr due to Roe vs. Wade, and the passage of FOCA which gives easier ability to abort. In the new Administration, the Right to Life has disappeared from the First Amendment.

Euthanasia in whatever state that decides to allow it shoots the Right to Life dead---pun intended. The increasingly egregious legislation against owning a personal gun shoots the Second in the foot, while aiming at the head.

The biggest deficit in the history of the US, Universal Healthcare (considering those of
sufficient age or diagnosis likely not getting government funds to continue their life), reduction of funds for missile defense when it disallows any rogue country or terrorist the ability to hold the US hostage (and doesn’t kill anyone), continued support of same-sex marriage (not in the Constitution), the support of the past lending system of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac which initiated the current financial mess, and the possibility the existing president not being a natural born citizen--- unfit to hold the office of the presidency---should be enough to totally bury the existing administration.

Right now many Americans are limited to sending faxes, personalized objections, unfilled red envelopes, letters, and angry politicians to change the direction of the country. Will they have enough patience to survive for four more years? Does this guarantee that the opposing party will be elected four years from now? What will America look like in four years if the present administration continues? 

If secession is a real option, an educated guess is the separation will occur along the lines of red and blue states [Election maps]. But if that route is used, the blue states (those in favor of the existing administration policies) are primarily on the coasts and the potential problems of a distinct separation are too numerous to enumerate.

The real telling illustration is the county by county tally. Other potential options include a viable third party which has been bubbling to the surface lately. And the ever present option of allowing more states’ independent rights and abilities to pass specific laws.

In any case, it will be difficult for any concerned citizen to live with the fact that over 1/5 of the American population was killed by abortion since Roe alone, including ¼ of the Black population that has been decimated by the same hideous procedure. It is our sincerest hope that somehow God is willing to allow mercy for our embattled nation after an atrocity of that magnitude.

The Department of Homeland Security is keeping an eye on normal people in the United States and taking orders from the far left Obama administration these days. It seems as if real Americans who are born here and live here legally and obey trhe law are more of a threat than the real terrorists who embrace a false indoctrination of Islam.

Furthermore, if you believe that the Second Amendment is meant to protect citizens from its own government (and it is) then you are a “right wing extremist” according to the Obama administration.

If you respect the dignity of an unborn baby’s life, you are a potential threat to the nation.

If you store food, ammo, etc. you are a threat to America.

If you have a religion (Christianity) that does not embrace the militant forced recognition of homosexulaity as being normal and not sinful according to the law of God (Bible), then you are a terrorist.

If you wish to protect your country from illegal aliens, you are a threat to national security.

Does the Obama team and the DHS not realize that it is the far left who are the real terrorists? Where is the name of Bill Ayers and his fundamentalist university indoctrination in this assesment?

Where the Earth Liberation Front in this assesment. Afterall, they burn Hummers. Is that not domestic terrorism?

Where is PETA in this ordeal? ACLU? CAIR? Where is the assessment saying that these far left and often times violent (Notice the G20 summit protesters) loons are a threat to America? Where is the assesment that watches out for socialism? Communism?

Well, we all now know that Mccarthy was right after all.

Who knows, maybe some of us normal Americans will live to see our friends, family and neighbors in Obama’s FEMA camps one day. This administration is the most dangerous in history. We should all be watching them more closely, not them watching us. After all, we the people are the vpice and their boss. In two more years we get to vote that voice again and I hope we clean house and senate ths time around. It’s time we ousted some of the fakes and frauds in Washington and placed decent honest hard working noral conservative traditional thinking Americans back in control again and oust these socialist traitors from power - that includes universities and high schools as well. Put God back in school and kick Satan out.

Militant homosexual groups within the USA have been acting for years to force the recognition of gay “marriage”. Unelected judges legalize gay marriage - again !

Today we saw the illegal action of un-elected activist judges going against the will of the people and taking the law into their own hands in Iowa. We will never be able to regain control of this country again if we do not remove liberals from power and impeach these judges. They should be removed and stripped of their right to practice law for life. They have no right forcing this on the peope who voted it down. America is falling and we conservatives are going to have to fight back and fight back hard to take America back from these arrogant hippies who defy the law, the people’s will, and the Bible. Liberalism must be defeated in order to restore moral sanity to this world.

Marriage Takes a Hit in the Heartland

After watching from a distance as the marriage debate ignited on both coasts, Iowans were horrified today to see the battle marched directly into their backyards. This morning, seven unelected judges unanimously struck down the state’s 1998 Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), forcing same-sex “marriage” on the people of Iowa in a stunning act of judicial tyranny. “We have a constitutional duty to ensure equal protection of the law,” the justices wrote in their opinion. “Faithfulness to that duty requires us to hold Iowa’s marriage statute… violates the Iowa Constitution. To decide otherwise would be an abdication of our constitutional duty.”

As a result of Varnum v. Brien, Iowa now has the dubious distinction of being the first Midwest state to legalize counterfeit marriage. In three weeks, when the decision officially takes effect, the Hawkeyes will join Massachusetts and Connecticut as the only states that allow same-sex
partners to apply for marriage licenses.

Although liberals are celebrating the victory, same-sex “marriage” continues to be a movement driven by the liberal and judicial elite--not the American people. Four courts have managed to legalize same-sex “marriage,” but none has done so democratically. In fact, the marriage amendment movement continues to be many times more successful than the same-sex “marriage” movement. The majority of U.S. states have not only defined marriage as the union of a man and woman but have overwhelmingly voted to include that definition in their state constitutions. Meanwhile, the radical courts seem intent upon destroying--not only the institution of marriage--but representative government. The fact that every member of this court casually dismissed the state’s law, facts of human biology, and thousands of years of human history to pander to a small band of social radicals is indefensible.

For the six homosexual couples who brought the suit, the victory is sweeping--but potentially temporary. As Americans know from the last presidential race, a decision on marriage has the ability to awaken voters in every corner of the country. Although the court’s gavel in this case takes a jackhammer to the foundation of family life, this is not the end of the story. As the justices wrote in their opinion, “While the constitution is the supreme law… [its] power flows from the people, and the people of Iowa retain the ultimate power to shape it over time.” We call on Iowans to rise up and demand government of the people, for the people, and by the people!

Speaking before today’s decision, Iowa Senate Majority Leader Michael Gronstal (D) said that “procedural rules” would keep legislators from considering any resolutions on marriage so late in the session. With only two weeks left to go before leaders adjourn, it would require a suspension of the rules--a decision now squarely in Gronstal’s hands. To start the amendment process, the General Assembly would have to work quickly to pass a bill calling for the amendment. We encourage our friends in Iowa to contact their legislators--Senators Michael Gronstal (gronstal@legis.state.ia.us; phone: 515-281-4610) and Paul McKinley (paul.mckinley@legis.state.ia.us) in particular--urging them to quickly join the other 29 states that have already protected marriage in their state constitutions. That’s the only way to ensure that the institution of marriage is shielded from social engineering by state judges. In the meantime, we will pray that this decision sparks indignation in voters all across America that would rally them by the millions in defense of the family’s foundation.
