Issues That Matter ... America's Moral Battleground

Issues That Matter

America’s Moral Battleground

by

Rob Hood

deals with the most controversial social and moral issues affecting America and the church today . It sells for $9.95 and can be purchased through most online book stores or ask for it at your local bookstore.

Mississippi author and Christian explain the facts about the culture war going on in America from a conservative Biblical Christian stand point.

Book Description

There is a growing culture war in today’s society. On one side, people believe in abortion as the right to choose, that the universe is here by accident, and that homosexuality is okay. They believe that Jesus was only a prophet or a good man, but on the other side, the direct opposite beliefs are being made known. In this book, the Mississippi author gives a traditional biblical point of view into what is wrong with the most fought about controversial moral and social issues facing Christianity in modern times.

Lord of the Rings star to use Gandalf connection promote homosexuality in schools

BIBLE VERSE OF THE WEEK

There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’ “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’ “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father’s house, for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’ ‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’ “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’ “

NATO's Uncertain Future

NATO’s Uncertain Future
By Jeff Lukens

Russia’s invasion of Georgia in August marked a return to their historic pattern of imperial conquest. Without confronting NATO directly, Vladimir Putin signaled he intends to keep Georgia and Ukraine in Russia’s sphere of influence, and keep them from joining NATO. Putin can now bully other Eastern European countries as well to sway their policies away from the West and toward Russia. If any of these countries fail to comply, the implied message is they can expect a fate similar to Georgia.

The European Union gets more that a quarter of its oil from Russia, and the pipeline through Georgia is the only oil from the Caspian oil fields not controlled by Russia or Iran. Putin now is able to shut it down anytime he wants to.

The attack on Georgia also exposed a dangerous overextension of NATO forces in Eastern Europe, and United States forces around the world. Power abhors a vacuum, and when there is any uncertainty about it in the Kremlin, instability follows. Putin has proven Russia will brutally fill any power void around them. NATO needs to reexamine its long-term strategic purpose, and determine what it should do about a newly aggressive and revitalized Russia.

There are two compelling sides to the debate over what to do. One line of reasoning says we should promote democracies everywhere, and holds that Russia must face the consequences for its actions. Naked aggression will happen again if unanswered. If Russia wants to act like the USSR, then NATO should treat it as it treated the USSR. For the alliance to cave now would only heighten the possibility of armed conflict later. Promoting democracy would ultimately mean supporting NATO membership for Georgia and Ukraine. If we offer them membership, however, we must be prepared to defend them. And this we are not able to do.

The other line of thinking says we should recognize the Russian sphere of influence in Eastern Europe, and not tread on their turf. NATO has already committed more to the region than it is prepared to support. No one wants to go to war over Georgia or Ukraine, and the US cannot confront the Russians alone.

While Russia’s neighbors worry about the renewed threat, Western Europe, and Germany especially, care more about their oil. Eastern Europe has been under the Russian domination before and has no intention on going back to it again. This makes for a divide in NATO that is quite literally big enough to drive a tank through—which of course Putin is not above doing. This political fissure could ultimately unravel the alliance.

NATO served its purpose well until the collapse of the Soviet Union. But unlike the Soviet Union in 1991, Russia is currently flush with cash. With a declining population and a single source economy, Putin apparently believes he needs to act now because time is not on his side. He knows the US is overextended in the Middle East, and now is the time to reassert Russian dominance in Eastern Europe before the US can capably respond.

Besides attacking Georgia, Putin has threatened to dismember large portions of Ukraine if it joins NATO. Even if Georgia had been a member of NATO, it is questionable whether any ally in Western Europe would have been willing to fight for them. As NATO has expanded its boundaries toward the Russian border, the military power that backs the alliance has become more diluted and less likely to honor its commitments. The alliance has written checks it is not able to cash.

The Baltic States present a special problem. These former Soviet republics all have large Russian populations within their borders. If Russia brings its armies to the borders of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, would anyone in NATO send troops there to honor the alliance’s guarantees? Possibly not. And definitely it would not in the numbers necessary to turn back an invasion.

In 1914, a series of misunderstandings and miscalculations that started in the Balkans lead to World War One. A similar set of misunderstandings and miscalculations may be awaiting us in the Baltics. With these countries already members of NATO, such uncertainty before a confrontive Russia could escalate into a larger war with the West.

Another piece on Putin’s chessboard is Iran. He knows the US wants out of Iraq, and to do so completely we will need to contain Iran. The US needs Russian support for economic sanctions to work against Teheran, which sets the stage for Putin to offer up a deal: The US gets its way with Iran in exchange for Russian domination of Georgia and Ukraine. It may be an offer we find hard to refuse.

The only diplomatic leverage we can exact on Russia now is to exclude them from the WTO, the G-8, and other international economic organizations, and such actions take time to work. And while the threat of exclusion is of no major concern to Putin, the flight of capital from the West is already exacting a toll in Russian financial markets as nervous investors pull back.

Global financial markets have punished Russia much more quickly than any diplomatic sanctions ever could. And the economic toll served on Russia has been severe. The RTS stock index in Moscow has fallen by more than half since May. The exodus of foreign capitol and the collapse of domestic credit have transformed the mood in Moscow from boldness to dismay. Putin is unlikely to reverse course, however, unless he is forced to by a collapse in the price of oil.

From any rational standpoint, the need for the US to more fully develop its petroleum resources has never been clearer. More immediately, some vital decisions need to be made about NATO’s future. By drawing clear lines between Russia and NATO, we can help stabilize the region. NATO must be firm with Russia about its respect for rules in dealing with other countries, or accept the position that Russian aggression is the price it must pay to keep oil flowing to Europe.

Russia’s attack on Georgia was not an isolated event. Their historic pattern of conquest will not go away because we wish it away. The events in August marked the return of geopolitics as it has been played since the dawn of civilization.

We cannot just say that NATO must adjust to new realities or fade away into irrelevancy. We may soon discover a greater danger lies in security promises made to Eastern European states that we cannot militarily support, which Putin misreads, and then becomes a major war. NATO must show commitment and clarity of purpose to prevent such a catastrophe.

BIBLE VERSE OF THE WEEK

Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry; the face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Eugenics Still Being Accomplished

Eugenics Still Being Accomplished by Kevin Roeten

Eugenics is the attempt at manufacturing the “master” race. Nazi Germany tried to breed better human beings by encouraging reproduction with “good” genes, and discouraging reproduction with “bad” genes. In 2002, it was found that >90% of Down Syndrome kids are being aborted (American Eugenics Movement).

It’s interesting that a vice-presidential candidate for one party has decided not to abort a known Down Syndrome child. You’ll get no such guarantee from the other party. Down occurs in one out of every 733 live births, but it’s revealed that the vast majority of early screen “positives” is false, and constitutes a false alarm. That is, of course, if it’s correct to kill someone you think might even have Down’s.

It’s mind-boggling to actually calculate the number of abortions done for the >90% of Down syndrome cases. Most experience some cognitive delays. This effect is usually mild to moderate, and is not indicative of many strengths and talents each individual possesses. So many seem to forget Chris Burke playing Corky Thatcher, a rambunctious teenager on TV’s “Life Goes On”.

Down Syndrome is typically called Trisomy. There are currently over 350,000 people alive in the US with Trisomy. In other words, >1 person out of every 3000 must understand that the vast majority of Americans would have killed them, and assume they can take undesirable life at will.

Obviously, abortion is a eugenics method many believe strengthens the human race. Prominent feminist Camille Paglia believes abortion involves the murder of an innocent life (LifeNews). But under her philosophy, even murder can be advocated as long as it protects another more important right—the alleged “right to have an abortion”. Paglia (Professor of Humanities/ Media Studies) is at the University of Philadelphia.

George Will (Washington Post) has a Down Syndrome son. He specifically called his son’s recommended abortion, “eugenics by abortion”.  LifeNews describes, under what is known as the Groningen Protocol, infanticide that is already taking place on a regular basis in the Netherlands with government support.

We have stumbled across the proverbial slippery slope. For each step we take, it gets a little easier to get a little more callous towards life. Just some of the undesirable traits considered earlier include eye color, hair color, skin and hair pigmentation, hemophilia, Huntington’s Disease, albinism, feeble-mindedness, manic depression, dementia, color blindness, tendency towards violence, alcoholism, sexual immorality, and schizophrenia. Some positive traits have been intelligence, elocution ability, drawing, musical composition, golf, and honesty.

Eugenics is in many places, though it’s never admitted. In the US, it has successfully influenced three specific policy areas: marriage regulation, sterilization of the unfit and legal immigration restriction. By 1914 thirty states had passed laws preventing marriage of the mentally handicapped or restricting marriage between people suffering from a venereal disease. A sterilization law was passed in Indiana in 1907 and in fifteen other states by 1917. Eugenics in the US also provided justifications for legal immigration restriction and the development of IQ testing.

Some leaders and infamous people that supported eugenics were Sir Francis Galton (cousin of Charles Darwin), Alexander Graham Bell, Winston Churchill, George Bernard Shaw, and Margaret Sanger (Planned Parenthood).

Leaders and well-known citizens who had genetic disorders were: Queen Victoria, Nicolo Paganini, Vincent van Gogh, and Abraham Lincoln (Marfan syndrome/ genetic problems with heart/aorta). Back during their time, genetic disorders were not known until after birth, and people lived with what they had.

Another instance of presumed physical defects was Tim Tebow, the most recent Heisman Trophy winner from the University of Florida. Doctors had advised his mom (Pam Tebow) to get an abortion while pregnant because of the likely affects of the medication she received earlier for amoebic dysentery. She would not bite. Later, Tim won the Heisman.

Because we’ve aborted literally 1/5 of the US population, it’s not really known what these aborted kids could have done during their lifetime. We do know that Lincoln rightfully emancipated the Blacks. We know that Paganini and van Gogh gave us some of the best compositions and art that exist today. What cures and inventions we have missed out on because someone was aborted is something we dare not ask.

It could be said there has been a return to eugenic ideas with increased interest with in-vitro fertilization (the ultimate in choosing who lives and who dies), sperm banks of Nobel winners (trying to guarantee an intellectually superior fetus), and cloning.

This upcoming presidential election is exactly the decision point as to whether we keep sliding uncontrolled, or make the decision to take that second sentence in the Declaration of Independence about “…the inalienable right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness” as seriously as its writers.

‘If Barack Obama Had His Way, I Wouldn’t Be Here’

Two years ago, the Colorado House of Representatives sat in stunned silence as Gianna Jessen, a young woman with cerebal palsy, sang a beautiful rendition of the national anthem. When she finished, the legislature exploded in applause, touched by Gianna’s talent and moved by her determination to rise above the odds. Moments later, the ovation ended. Members were shocked and angry to learn that Rep. Ted Harvey had used the opportunity to draw attention to Gianna’s story as the survivor of a botched saline abortion. For weeks afterward, the media characterized Harvey as insensitive and opportunistic. Even the House majority leader said, “I think it was amazingly rude to use a human being as an example of his personal politics.”

Today, Gianna is using her voice to astound a new audience-the American voter. In a powerful new ad sponsored by www.bornalivetruth.org, she highlights Sen. Barack Obama’s staunch opposition to the Born-Alive Infant Protection Act. “Can you imagine not giving babies their basic human rights, no matter how they entered our world?” the commercial begins. “My name is Gianna Jessen, born 31 years ago after a failed abortion. I’m a survivor… but if Barack Obama had his way, I wouldn’t be here.” Since the ad’s release, the mainstream media has done its best to dilute her message, insinuating that Gianna made the story up. Subjecting her to unfair scrutiny, one reporter writes, “[Jessen] claims to have survived the abortion.” That fact seems self-evident. Another attacks her as a “self-proclaimed abortion-survivor.” Yesterday, Jill Stanek released crucial documents, including Gianna’s birth certificate, to verify the story.

Of course, the disbelief of the press is nothing new. Every time I do an interview on the subject, reporters seldom believe me when I explain what the Born-Alive Infant Protection Act is and why it’s necessary. They, like most Americans, are astounded to learn that the denial of medical treatment to babies like Gianna was so commonplace that our leaders had to implement a law to prevent it.

Google Expands Ad Buys to Pro-Life Domain

In April, Google’s approach to pro-life advocacy was to search-and destroy. Now, several months and a court settlement later, the Internet giant has changed its policy and will allow religious groups to purchase ad space on the subject of abortion. The issue came to a head earlier this year when The Christian Institute was denied ad space because Google considered the pro-life message “inappropriate content.” Today, the Institute announced that after taking legal action, Google agreed to alter its abortion ads policy. Effective immediately, Google will “level the playing field” for religious groups and accept “factual” ad buys on abortion.

While we celebrate the victory, these legal proceedings continue to have a chilling effect. The fact that Christians have to expend their resources fighting for free speech equity means that we’re losing ground in the culture. More than ever, we need to carry this battle from the courts to the policy arena, where elected representatives-not unaccountable judges-direct our course as a nation.

Finally, We are back to Conservatism vs.Liberalism

Finally, We are back to Conservatism vs.Liberalism
By Vincent Gioia
www.RightSideNews.com

With the selection of Sarah Palin as Vice President Candidate on the Republican ticket, the presidential race is less about Democrat vs. Republican, than it is about Liberal vs. Conservative. Democrats and Republicans both agree that Washington is “broken” and both sides want “change.”

Democrats Barack Obama and Joe Biden believe that government is the answer while John McCain and Sarah Palin believe that government is the problem. Clearly, change can be for good or for bad.

The speech by Sarah Palin marks the well-defined line in the sand that conservatives have wanted for months to have John McCain draw. It was interesting to watch Palin (and the warm-up acts of Romney, Huckabee, and Giuliani) frame the battle for the oval office. It was a reminder, once again, that conservatism is the road to better government and a healthier America.

Thomas Jefferson said “Laws are made for men of ordinary understanding and should, therefore, be construed by the ordinary rules of common sense. Their meaning is not to be sought for in metaphysical subtleties which may make anything mean everything or nothing at pleasure.” Nothing could be clearer in this election than that it is shear common sense we don’t need a bigger government; we need a smaller government as envisioned by Jefferson, Monroe and all the others who are responsible for our country’s constitution.

At the Republican convention the point was made that no candidate in the last 100 years was less qualified to be president than Barack Obama. As David Freddoso wrote (The Case Against Obama), “Barack Obama doesn’t represent “change” in American politics at all. In reality, he is a shameless product of Chicago’s corrupt political Machine—and a far-left liberal in the mold of Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Al Gore, Mike Dukakis, and Walter Mondale—but with charm and political savvy that rival those of Bill Clinton."”

What kind of president would Obama make after only 150 days experience in the U.S. Senate and a history of avoided taking unpopular stands in the state Senate by voting “present” about 130 times—or simply by absenting himself from tough votes altogether?

Obama is one of the most cynical presidential candidates ever to aspire to national office and
his rise to the nominee of the Democrat Party is a lesson in deliberate political ambition. First Obama cooperated with Chicago’s Democratic Machine and then he developed relationships with the likes of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright and unrepentant ‘60s bomber Bill Ayers. He also engaged in an exchange of favors and payback with corrupt developer (and convicted felon) Tony Rezko.

Obama’s rise to prominence is no accident. According to David Freddoso Obama won his first election (to the Illinois State Senate) “by having his lawyers knock all his opponents --including the black, female incumbent—off the ballot on technicalities, so he could run unopposed.” Chicago insiders know the “Chicago Machine” made a U.S. senator” out of Obama.

But worst of all Obama has very bad ideas that would permanently change America. If he is elected President, America will be a very different place from the one we know now: both militarily and economically, and under the thumb of a Supreme Court full of judges who believe in the notion of a “living, breathing Constitution” that says whatever they want it to say.

Along with too many other elected politicians Obama opposes school choice through vouchers or tax credits - while sending his own children to an elite private school.

If you are in favor of killing unborn children, Obama is your man. He voted to deny medical care to babies born alive after abortion in a bill too extreme even for Nancy Pelosi. Obama also vowed to Planned Parenthood in July 2007 to end all restrictions on government abortion funding.

Obama seems to believe democratic elections are not for everyone. He wants, and has voted, to abolish secret-ballot elections in the workplace when Union leaders coerce employees to sign Union cards; thus allowing unions to intimidate and harass workers who don’t support them.

The “change” Barack Obama’s calls for in his campaign as the cure for ills of society is higher government spending, weaker national defense, continued tax dollars to Planned Parenthood, and support of gay marriage.

Obama claims to give us “new politics” but in less than four years as a U.S. Senator, Obama has voted for some of the worst special-interest legislation to move through the congress. If you vote for Obama, you are voting for the most liberal member of the United States Senate in 2007; according to the respected National Journal Obama beat out Barbara Boxer, Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton and the previous title-holder, John Kerry. Is this who you want for our next president?

Palin Brings Media Bias to a Head

Palin Brings Media Bias to a Head

On 9/3 Good Morning America had a field day trashing Sarah Palin (VP choice), with having a 17 year-old daughter who was pregnant. How could a VP that was so pro-life have a daughter that was pregnant and not married?

It was difficult watching two hosts seeming to have tons of fun making their announcement to the world. After that, how could Palin dare to show her face to anyone anymore? But there was a point that was missing during the whole fray. Why didn’t the mother in question, Bristol Palin, abort the baby? Feminists all over the land would have said it was the right thing to do. Bristol was not even married to Levi---yet.

Not discussing the abortion option was glaringly obvious to many pro-lifers. According to pro-abortionists, killing her baby would have been the easiest thing to do. But it seems Bristol’s mom and dad taught her right. Why would you want to kill an innocent bystander for a mistake made five months ago? It would be quite interesting to find out what that baby would think 15 years into the future of all those people clamoring for its death. However, its mom and dad knew it was a life, and knew it must be preserved.

It looks like Palin not only talks the talk, but also walks the walk. Even Sheri Jacobus (The Loft) said it so well: “…the GOP’s vice-presidential candidate didn’t have to walk, talk, dress, or act like a man to get there.” Come to think of it, she’s a card carrying member of Feminists for Life, a lifelong NRA member, no family business connections, no political connections, no rich daddy, no well-connected husband, fought and beat the corrupt Alaskan political machine, pro-family, current governor of Alaska, and mother of five (one of which is Down syndrome). The very interesting issue she is adamant about is the existence of global warming—but, not from man-made sources. On that she disagrees with McCain profusely, and it seems McCain is finally starting to see the light.

The media keeps trying to dig something up that’s bad about Palin. They’ve thought of every possible way of skewering her. They’re still trying. How can one nominate an intelligent, pro-life, hard-as-nails, good-looking mother as a potential leader of this country? You’d think that being a feminist has hit the skids, but wait—she IS a feminist (Feminists for Life). She’s bucked the status quo for years, and made it to a VP nominee from her actions alone.

It seems obvious that there are millions of true women out there, and Palin has just risen close to the top. Why do the Democrats and the prime time media keep trashing a woman who’s made it so far on sheer guts, willpower, and smarts? Maybe being a woman has nothing to do with Democrat’s beef. Maybe it’s just disagreement on the important issues of the day. It looks like someone should have the Democrats remove that platform plank “Opportunity for Women”.

Parental Rights in the Crosshairs

Parental Rights in the Crosshairs

by

Rob Hood

Anyone who is a traditional thinking American knows that organizations like the ACLU, National Education Association (endorses Obama by the way), GLSEN, and others have been advocating for the restriction of parental rights for a long time. The homosexual agenda is blazing hot right now and has these wealthy organizations backing their cause. These organizations often oppose school choice because they know that private schools offer freedom from homosexual indoctrination within the school system. They vehemently oppose home school because that eradicates their anti-creationist viewpoint. It also gives the child a chance at learning in a family environment which is something else that these organization oppose - the traditional family.

Believe it or not, schools in America are getting as bad as schools in Arab countries when it comes to indoctrination. Some schools in America are great schools where actual learning of courses that obtain to education are taught. Then, some are not. Many elementary schools right here in America are teaching very bad and very anti-family curriculum.

Many workshops encourage children to participate in role-playing that depicts same sex families.

One video put out by the Gay, lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN)called Elementary trains elementary school teachers to actually advance the homosexual agenda in their own classrooms. The video is very anti-Christian in that it depicts Bible believing Christians as torturers of homosexuals. Children are taught to mock the Bible’s teaching on sin. One part of the video shows an eight year old girl who says that people who believe what the Bible teaches about homosexual behavior are “stupid”.

Also, another resource in the form of a questionnaire put out by GLSEN asks these type questions:

1) Is it possible that heterosexuality is a phase that you will grow out of?
2) If you have never slept with someone of the same sex, how do you know you would not prefer that?
3) What do you think caused your heterosexuality?

A Boulder, Colorado high school featured radicals that actually required students to attend. The seminar encouraged illegal drug use as well as encouraged homosexual behavior. Talk Radio host and commentator Billy O’Reilly featured this story on the Radio Factor when the story first broke last year.

A new state law in California, S.B.777 (it should be 666 for evil) requires that homosexual behavior be presented to children as young as kindergarten, as a choice that is just as legitimate and desirable as heterosexual behavior.

This new legislation is designed to change (brainwash) young minds into thinking differently. It is designed to change their mindset into the same mindset as the radicals who pushed for the bill.

If you wish to know what to do about these blatant, but very serious attacks on Christianity, freedom, and the traditional family as God created it, then there are organizations who fight these battles everyday. If you wish to join the millions of Christians who fight these battles and continue to pursue the truth amongst evil desires, then consider the organizations listed here. If left unchecked, these radicals will change America into the new Sodom and Gomorrah, and likewise, destroy the nation itself.

Enduring the RNC "Peaceful" Protests of the Uncivilized Far Left

Enduring the RNC “Peaceful” Protests of the Uncivilized Far Left

by

Rob Hood

Every four years the political parties of this great land have their official convention to nominate and promote their candidate of choice for that political season. Of course, protests on both sides happen. That’s normal. Protests have been around as long as humanity has been around. However, there are protests, and there are anarchists who pretend to be protesters.

At the Democratic National Convention there were a host of speakers who spoke well of Barack Obama and his plan for “change”. Abortion and gay marriage was mention a few times, but with no specificity of any sort. That’s okay. They have that right to free speech. Global warming was made aware several times, even though it is not manmade and 32,000 signatures of prominent scientists have made clear that fact. Nevertheless, that is irrelevant in this column.

What is relevant is the differences of the two opposing sides and their behavior. About 150 protesters were arrested at the Democratic convention. Most of them were anti-abortion protestors or anti-gay marriage protestors.

At the Republican National Convention, anarchy took place with far left violent and uncivilized scoundrels who intimidated and attacked delegates, smashed windows, vandalized cars, flattened tires, threw flaming garbage cans at policemen in riot gear, gave the finger to onlookers, and continued with their “peaceful” protests.

The anarchy of these uncivilized heathen just goes to show how violent and hypocritical the far left really is. These people on the extreme far left condemn conservatives for being “warmongers” and then turn around and become violent criminals themselves. 286 violent protesters were teargassed and arrested at the Republican convention. 130 of them face felony charges and get this - four of them are news reporters that represent that good ole unbiased media. One in particular was an Associated Press reporter. So much for unbiased news. I’ll just bet this story won’t make it onto the front pages!

Also there is another difference between our candidates. People say Barack Obama is not dangerous but some of his colleagues and associates are extremely dangerous individuals indeed. Rev. Wright was controversial in his thundering condemnation of God (took his name in Vain) and America in the house of God, but he is not dangerous.

People like Louis Farrakhan perhaps, could potentially be, but may not be. Mr. Farrakhan has the most anti-white and anti-American sentiment in this nation. His sermons and papers resemble those that might come from the mosques of Saudi Arabia and the like. However, he is not a real threat, but mostly just words. A man by the name of Bill Ayers, a former 1960s terrosist and advocate of anarchy is a confidant of Obama. See wikipedia for Ayers’ full biography and his association with the Democratic Party. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Ayers

The real threat comes with the fact that Obama’s campaign has been related on two separate occasions with HAMAS, and Palestinian terrorist organization. On one occasion the Obama campaign (with or without his consent) accepted a $25,000 donation from a group linked to members of HAMAS.

Next a man linked to HAMAS actually spoke at the Democratic Nation Convention. That man was Ingrid Mattson of the Islamic Society of North America - an organization with admitted ties to HAMAS and the Holy Land Foundation which claims to be a charitable outfit. Probably just a disguise like HAMAS’s charitable excuse.  Other Islamic ties have been mad as well. Iranian TV has been cheering for Obama and so have other Arabs in the Middle East. Now, it’s getting interesting right?

I am not calling Obama a Muslim because I have no evidence of that, but from all accounts Islamic extremism has been on his side of the political fence. Perhaps Bush gave them such a blow that they now fear conservative Republicans? I doubt it. However, terrorists do understand that they have a better chance of prospering under a Democrat who will not seek them out and destroy them, but only ignore them.

Barack Obama promises to bring “change”, but will that change come in the form of a great American dream or a Pro-Islamic nightmare? Do the research and decide for yourself. Now, that’s something worth protesting!

BIBLE VERSE OF THE WEEK

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority. In him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of the sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of men but with the circumcision done by Christ, having been buried with him in baptism and raised with him through your faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead. When you were dead in your sins and in the un-circumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
