Site/book
Hello, my name is Rob Hood and I am inviting you to take a stand with me as a fellow believer in Christ. Together we can bring back traditional biblical moral values, respect, and integrity that this country once had. Riddled with immorality, deceit, persecution, crime, and disrespect, America has changed in the last 50 years, but we don’t have to sit back and watch our country rot to the ground. We can renovate America, rebuild our communities, re-install the word of God, and instill Christian based Biblical values into society and bring America back to where it needs to be. I invite you to my own website where you get news, commentary, and events based upon these principles. Help me change America back to normal and save our great country!
Sincerely,
Rob Hood

Dead or Alive?
Those Who were Thought Dead might be Alive
We find people who many thought were dead, are now healthy. Do we dare make that judgment on who lives and who dies? In the Declaration, “life” is listed as a right--and is listed first. But some have revised the Declaration to form a different definition of “life”. Nobody told them that the Declaration couldn’t be changed, but many hospitals and authorities believe it can.
Sometimes people are told they will never recover from a serious injury, and their life is no longer worth living. They’re in pain, and being in a ‘comatose’ or ‘permanent vegetative state’ is likely something that is unrecoverable. Some believe it is wise to remove their feeding tube. Have you ever noticed that patients are only told this when they can’t respond? And their closest relatives are complicit with the urge to put them “down”?
Just a few of the recent happenings recorded:
1) 6/4/07; White (LifeSiteNews); Dzialdowo, Poland; Jan Grzewski was a Polish railway worker who was hospitalized after an injury at work and remained in a coma; doctors found cancer in his brain and predicted he would not recover; after 19 years he spontaneously woke up and talked about memories of when he was in a coma
2) 9/17/07; Reuters; Venezuela, SA; Carlos Camejo was declared dead after a highway accident, and was sent to a morgue; he woke up in excruciating pain while medical examiners started their autopsy; examiners determined something was amiss when the body started bleeding
3) 10/19/07; Dubek/12 News; Phoenix, Az; Jesse Ramirez was considered fatally injured when his SUV crashed into a pottery store; his wife made the decision to pull his feeding tube out and Jesse went 6 days without food or water; all had prepared for his aforementioned death; shortly after hospice officials reported that Jesse was indeed awake and alert; he was transferred to a rehab center and put into recovery
4) 2/15/08; Andrusko/NRTL; Lake Elmo, Mn; 65 year-old Raleane Kupferschmidt’s relatives were told by doctors she was brain dead with no brain activity, and that she would not recover; a CT scan revealed she had suffered a massive cerebral hemorrhage a month earlier; doctors had removed her breathing tube and were waiting for her to die; but she began sucking on an ice cube and began to mouth words; later she exclaimed “God’s not done with me yet.”
5) 3/6/08; Baklinski/LifeSiteNews; Boston, Ma; Haleigh Poutre was so brutally beaten 2 years ago by her adoptive parents she was left in a coma not expected to revive; a CAT scan revealed a subdural hematoma (blood on surface of brain); as a ward of the Massachusetts Department of Social Services, Haleigh was to have all life support removed after only 6 days; the court decided to euthanize her, and shortly thereafter she began breathing on her own; her feeding tube was left in and she has recovered most of her cognitive abilities
One may notice that these 5 cases are actually only tips of the iceberg of people coming back from an assumed death. They are only a partial list of those considered dead for all practical purposes. Was God speaking to us, but we haven’t heard Him? If He just spoke outright, there would be no mystery, and thus no necessary faith. One would know that God and heaven exist for a fact, and there would be no decision to make.
But these situations only covered the last 10 months. What happened to all those in this condition before that? Did their loved ones not hear their cries for life? Was their feeding tube removed without knowing what would really happen in several years, months, or days? Were they even given a feeding tube to begin with?
Pope Benedict XVI recently stated that euthanasia “appears as one of the more alarming symptoms of the culture of death…”. Don’t we remember Pope John Paul XXIII taking sustenance through a feeding tube as he waved to onlookers through his upper window at the Vatican days before his death?
It’s easy to make the judgment that the existing life is not worth living, and opt for the death. One knows that many, who are not able to communicate in any way, are silently pleading to their killers that they are still alive. Life was started by God. It’s not ours to take. It’s not up to us to take another’s life whenever we’ve judged that it’s time. It seems that’ll come back to bite us sooner, or later.

BIBLE VERSE OF THE WEEK
On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ “Then they remembered his words.

Certain Hope for All
Certain Hope for All
by
Rob Hood
The subject of hope has often been overheard in political speeches in the past few months, but there is a different and more important kind of hope that is available to all of mankind who seeks it. That hope will be celebrated this weekend as we attend services for Easter and remember Good Friday. Jesus Christ gave us that hope when He saw that mankind needed saving from its own sin and obeyed the Father’s will that He be born of a Virgin, be crucified, and rise again.
Luke 24:1-8(NIV)reads:
On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ “ Then they remembered his words.
The celebration of Easter is not celebrating the death of Christ but the resurrection of Christ. He was raised from death just as He said He would and just like the prophet Isaiah said that He would. Jesus was the sinless Son of God who died in the place of all who would believe in Him, therefore insuring eternal life for those followers.
This hope happened 2008 years ago and we still await His glorious return to defeat evil once and for all and establish His reign forever where there will be no more death, tears, war, agony, and suffering. One day He will return. The first time that Jesus came, He was a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger. He led a simple human life as a carpenter until He started his ministry. He healed the sick, made the blind see, made the lame to walk again, raised the dead, died, and was resurrected.
Next time He comes will not be to save people, but will come as King of Kings and Lord of Lords and will come to judge. Yes there will be healing again. Death and evil will be defeated. Sickness, war, and pain will be no more. Hope will arrive in the form of a trumpet sound one day and the Lord will return. I look for that day to be soon simply because of the end times signs that are so strongly evident around the world. Of course these signs have always been here and the “last days” started after Christ ascended into Heaven after the resurrection. His return is looked forward to by Christians everywhere and that return could be today or a million years from now, but one thing is for sure: No human or angel knows the time of His return.
Hope came to mankind some 2000 years ago and that hope still provides the answers to every problem if one will just seek what was freely given when the Lord gave up His life on that rugged, painful cross (crucifixion is the most painful way to die). Are you ready for His return? Or do you dread His judgment? Salvation came long ago, but the invitation still remains as long as you are ready to receive it.
Happy Easter and God Bless!

Contrary to Claims, Obama Very Close With Racist Preacher, Wright
Contrary to Claims, Obama Very Close With Racist Preacher, Wright
By Warner Todd Huston
Many in the newsmedia are reacting with quite restraint to the revelations of comments by Obam’s racist “spiritual mentor,” Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Jr. Imagine if this were a Republican politician linked to such outrageous talk and you’ll realize how the MSM has been studiously underplaying this controversy. A benefit of the doubt seems to be the rule of thumb for how the media is treating Obama, a benefit that would be denied a GOP candidate.
But, as ABC’s Jake Tapper asked concerning Obama’s knowledge of Wright’s racist rants: What did Obama know and when did he know it? In this posting Tapper finds that Obama was distancing himself from Wright a year ago causing the question to be raised if Obama long ago wondered if Wright would be a liability? But, there is video of Obama lovingly introducing Wright even after that proving not only that Obama is very, very close to Rev. Wright, but also that he was not distancing himself from the man at all.
On June 5th, 2007, Senator Barack Obama spoke before 8,000 people gathered in Hampton University’s Convocation Center. Most of them were pastors and ministers attending a conference there.
He was there to speak on mostly post Katrina issues and to criticize the Bush administration’s efforts during that natural disaster. Obama tried his catch phrase of the moment, saying that a “quiet riot” might be occurring in America and he affirmed that he felt that America was a racist nation, that the reaction to Katrina had just “pulled back the screen” on America’s racism. Obama also used rhetoric heavily doused with religious symbolism.
But, that boiler plate aside, there was two very interesting segments in Obama’s remarks concerning his racist “spiritual mentor,” Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Jr. that are not getting the press it deserves. (See the video at Channel 2 News Chicago)
He was effusive in his praise and admiration for Wright, this foaming at the mouth, hate monger. This runs contrary to his late claims that he is somehow shocked by Wright’s racism, or that he now disagrees with him as well as his claim that he was not familiar enough with Wright to know of his point of view.
As the speech kicked off (at 1:07 into the video), Obama introduced the Rev. Wright to the audience with these glowing and highly personal words:
And then I’ve got to give a special shout out to my Pastor. The guy who puts up with me, counsels me, listens to my wife complain about me. He’s a friend and a great leader not just in Chicago but all across the country, so please everybody give an extraordinary welcome to my pastor Dr. Jeremiah Wright, Jr., Trinity United Church of Christ.
Where’s he at? There he is. That’s him, that’s him right there.
You wearing a suit today, right?
This reveals a very intimate portrait of Obama and Wright’s relationship. Notice the last bit where Obama jokes about Wright’s penchant for wearing an Afrocentric style of dress and that his wearing of a suit at that event was uncommon. These are the remarks of a close friend to another loved intimate, not the words of a man making perfunctory comments.
Later in his comments Obama mentioned Wright again. (At 13:43 in the video)
You know, I’ve been on a journey trying to get at the truth that question for a long time. I mention Rev. Wright… I first met Rev. Wright when I moved to Chicago after college.
And that’s where I met Rev. Wright and started going to Trinity United Church of Christ and he helped me on another journey and introduced me to someone named Jesus Christ. And I learned that my sins could be redeemed. I learned that those things that I was too weak to accomplish myself, maybe he could accomplish them for me if I placed my trust in him. And I learned that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things when they believe in him and they come together and are guided by him.
So, we see that Obama obviously had a close, long-term relationship with Wright not a casual one where Obama might have missed the Reverend’s long-standing agenda.
It is also interesting that Obama’s rhetoric was so steeped in evangelical Christian rhetoric. Isn’t a “fanatic” Christianity one of the charges so often leveled by the left against president Bush? Don’t they so often say that he is somehow too religious? And, how often did we hear from the MSM how “controversial” Bush (or any Republican) was for delivering a speech before Bob Jones University?
And remember, Bush just went to make a single speech at Bob Jones University and the media slammed him for months afterward. Yet, Barack has had an intimate, 20-year relationship with Wright who has vehemently called for God to damn America and the media yawns at the news.
In light of the criticism of Bush’s injecting “too much religion” in his presidency or that his administration is just like a ”Christian Taliban”, it is also a legitimate question to ask, where are those same accusers when this 2007 speech by Barack Obama is so filled with religious fervor? Where are the anti-religious left and the so-called separation of Church and Staters at now?
In fact, this entire speech is filled with nothing but class warfare, expansions of social programs, raising the minimum wage, typical great society type junk all couched squarely as a civic responsibility enmeshed with Obama’s view of Biblical precepts.
Now, as far as what Obama knew of Rev. Wright’s racist comments and when he knew it, ABC’s Jake Tapper is right on when he notes that Obama had dis-invited Wright from delivering the public invocation at his candidacy announcement more than a year ago. This obviously reveals that Obama had begun to distance himself from Wright before he announced formally for the presidency. It is plain that Obama knew of Wright’s problematic ranting long before his sudden claim that he is shocked by Wright’s past rhetoric.
Unfortunately for the truth, when the questions were finally put to him on March 14th, Obama played dumb saying, “I wasn’t in church during the time that these statement were made. I did not hear such incendiary language myself, personally. Either in conversations with him or when I was in the pew, he always preached the social gospel. … If I had heard them repeated, I would have quit. … If I thought that was the repeated tenor of the church, then I wouldn’t feel comfortable there.”
Even back in April of 2007 The New York Times quoted Wright that he’d already talked with Barack about his controversial relationship with the ranting Reverend.
“If Barack gets past the primary, he might have to publicly distance himself from me,” Mr. Wright said with a shrug. “I said it to Barack personally, and he said yeah, that might have to happen.”
This fully reveals that Wright understands that his views are controversial, that Barack was fully aware of them, and that they are both complicit in trying to cover up these facts in order to fool people into a false perception of the truth.
But, as the video from Chicago’s Channel 2 shows that, until recently, Obama never did fully separate himself from Rev. Wright.
With all the proof of how Barack Obama has been so close to the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Jr. for the last 20 years, it stretches credulity to imagine that Obama never heard of Wright’s hatespeech before. And as Wright blames whites for all the ills of the black community, while Wright claims that America deserved 9/11 and that whites created AIDS to kill blacks, Obama has the gall to claim that it’s everyone else stirring the racial rhetoric.
Watch this speech by Obama and see who is stirring the racial rhetoric. During his own campaign, Obama has cleaned up Wright’s racist hate but make no mistake that the message that Wright has so often bellowed from the pulpit is nearly identical to Obama’s on the campaign trail. Obama has learned well from Rev. Wright. He’s learned well, indeed.
The conservative blogosphere is aflame with Obama’s links to Wright. But the biggest question is: will the Mainstream Media let this controversy die, will they decide it’s “old news” like they do so very often, or will they pursue it, connecting the dots, like they should?
What do you think?

The Secret’s out of the Bag in the Oil
It seems the rumors that the world has reached “peak-oil” may not necessarily be right. And it’s a moot point ‘gouging’ does not really exist.
Recent excursions of crude going over $110 per barrel can be directly related to OPEC. Per Alan Caruba (anxietycenter.com), OPEC is composed primarily of Arab and African oil producers, and control ~77% of the world’s crude. The US owns ~2% of the reserves, but uses 24% of the gas.
America actually imports >12% of its refined oil. It’s almost as if someone has purposely limited America’s access. Regulatory costs have made the construction of any new refinery unfeasible since the 1970’s. The vast majority of ANWR, as well as the US’s continental shelf (estimates of >87 billion barrels oil and >86 BBO respectively/DOE; US Minerals Management Services) cannot be accessed because of congressional fiat.
Add to that, gasoline must be refined into 17 different formulations--or >40 for all grades--to comply with pollution regulations. Introduction of ethanol into blends, additional environmental regulations, worldwide falling value of the dollar, an average $0.30/gallon state tax, and Katrina and Rita, all contribute to increased costs of gasoline. With so many options to buy gasoline, and additional costs involved, gouging simply can’t exist.
The actual cost results in a 7-9% margin for gasoline producers. For comparison, Microsoft has a 24% margin. Total profit is always quoted by sensationalizing media outlets, but gasoline volume is higher than other products.
It’s interesting more and more resources are saying some oil is “abiotic”. This oil is a renewable resource, and is replenished from the mantle of the earth. Peter Huber and Mark Mills (Wall Street Journal) state that the world’s supplies aren’t diminishing, but it’s just more profitable to tap Middle East supplies. From the 12/06 issue of the Oil and Gas Journal, the top oil producers (Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Yemen) from 1980-2005 all increased their stated oil reserves. The table suggests that OPEC’s discovery of new fields replaces almost exactly the quantities produced. Even Angola discovered 38 new fields of more than 100 million barrels each.
Per the US Geological Survey, the Middle East has only between half and a third of the recoverable oil reserves in the world. The fact easily forgotten is the Russians drilling Kola SG-3 in 1970. The deep well reached a record depth of 40,230 feet (Free Energy News; Joe Vialls/ 8/25/04) and hit oil. Since then more than 310 successful super-deep oil wells have gone into production. In 2003 Russia overtook Saudi Arabia as the world’s biggest single oil producer.
Another 20 wells were drilled in the same way in the White Tiger Field in Vietnam. The theory as to how oil is formed at such enormous depths is found in existing archives with over two hundred Russian papers on the subject. A good starting point is “The Role of Methane in the Formation of Mineral Fuels” (A.D. Bondar/1967).
If one takes Eugene Island, an oil field 80 miles off the coast of Louisiana, one can see oil replenishment here in the states. Discovered in 1973 producing 15,000 barrels of oil per day, it slowed to 4,000 barrels in 1989. The last estimates of probable reserves spiked from 60 million barrels to 400 million barrels.
Researchers found (using 3-D seismic imaging) oil gushing in from a deep source migrating up through the rock. But an oil analysis shows that its age is geologically different, and both scientists and geologists admit that the oil field is refilling itself.
Alex Jones and Paul Watson have described in detail Russia’s boom after discovering “abiotic” oil. In general terms, they describe “peak oil” as a scam to create artificial scarcity and drive prices up.
If true, the existence of self-renewing oil fields shatters the “peak-oil” myth. They claim when gasoline prices escalate beyond $5.00/gal, the populace will believe an inevitable quick decline in world oil production.
It’s not hard understanding that OPEC is an illegal “cartel” that can’t be taken to court. If more refineries are built and different resources tapped, oil prices would recede and OPEC would see profits diminish. It’s obvious why the argument for “peak-oil” is so appealing to OPEC. Ever notice how every time there seems to be an energy crisis, OPEC increases production?
We need to remember several important facts. During the 104th Congress, budget bill HR-2491 (included opening up ANWR to drilling) was vetoed by then-President Clinton. The EIA (Energy Information administration) says that today there are at least 1.4 trillion existing barrels of oil world wide from proven reserves.
It is obvious one political party in America is playing into OPEC’s hands, restricting additional refinery construction, restricting additional drilling on American holdings, enforcing additional foreign dependence on oil, and wants your dependence.

Church and State are Mutually Supportive
By Jeff Lukens
“The Bible is for the Government of the People, by the People, and for the People.” General Prologue to the Wycliffe Bible in 1384.
Our country and its laws were established on the fundamental belief that our morality emanates from God. While the Constitution begins with the line, “We the people,” it does not contain any religious words. Some people cite this as evidence that America is a secular country. Not so. America has always combined secular government with a society based on religious values.
Many settlers in the 1600s came to what they considered this new promised land seeking religious freedom. They identified with the biblical Jewish Exodus from Egypt because they had left Europe and its values as well. Ours is the only country to identify with many Jewish beliefs, and is why our culture calls itself “Judeo-Christian.” These values include the importance of laws, fighting for justice, and a belief in judgment by loving and forgiving God.
The Founders understood there is a divine order that rises above the human order. By the 1770s, they sought our freedom from the British Crown with reliance upon, what the Declaration of Independence calls, “Nature’s God,” the “Creator,” and “the Supreme Judge of the World.”
The First Amendment was never intended to exclude all references to God from government institutions and public debate. It simply says, “Congress shall not establish a religion or prohibit the free exercise thereof.” The word “establish” meant the creation of a state church, as in the Church of England. It is nonsense to say the founders intended the First Amendment to exclude all religious expression in public places.
They knew that if we, as a people, ever lost our biblical foundation, no amount of Constitutional protection would preserve the republic. They recognized that without a Divine influence, their struggle for freedom would be in vain.
John Adams wrote: “We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Our constitution was made for a moral and religious people.”
The Founders also knew the government they were establishing could last only if it was set in a moral framework that only the church provides. They knew that without God there could be no prompting of the conscience. Only those humble enough to admit they are imperfect before God could bring to democracy the tolerance it requires to endure.
In the 1850s, abolitionist minister Theodore Parker frequently used the phrase “of the people, by the people, and for the people.” His sermons and writings inspired many people, including Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address used the phrase as well while affirming the values of human equality espoused in the Bible and in the Declaration of Independence. We now regard that speech as one of the greatest in American history.
There are countless other examples throughout our history of politicians evoking God’s will or God’s blessings in their speeches. Every president has spoken of them. “The rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the Hand of God,” President Kennedy said in his inaugural address. Kennedy’s remarks offended no one then, why should anyone be offended by such remarks now?
As this election year unfolds, the role of religion in society is sure to be discussed. Candidates’ beliefs and endorsements by religious leaders will be scrutinized, as John McCain and Barack Obama have discovered. Religious beliefs may differ, but voters should keep in mind that church and state, though separate, should be mutually supportive.
The rigidity of the law alone cannot bring order and unity to society. Its foundation rests on the voluntary consent of its citizens. God’s authority and eternal laws are the prerequisites for human rights and democracy. While our justice system often allows us to do as we please, the conscience of believing citizens keeps them from committing what is rash or unjust.
Of course, such talk is enough to make the secularists shudder. But their attempts to suppress all reference of God in public are contrary to what the Founders had in mind. While the Founders did not intend that we have a religious government, it is an exaggeration to declare they wanted all mention of God removed from public speeches, buildings, currency, pledges—or even from high school commencements and football games—as some today would have you believe.
We mandate no belief in this country. We are free to believe or not believe whatever they want. The ACLU and other secularist organizations, however, do not have the right to destroy the norms that have characterized our nation from the beginning. Any mention of God annoys them, but the Constitution does not deny free speech simply because someone is annoyed.
Longer term, the issue is whether our country continues in its founding traditions as “one nation under God,” or becomes a secular one like those in Europe and Asia. Barack Hussein Obama's claim to fame...
When finished reading the following message, please log on to www.standfortruthonline.com for a very important NEWS ALERT conerning this subject. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Rob Hood
http://robhood.us
We are witnessing a political phenomenon with Barack
Obama of rare magnitude. His speeches have inspired millions and yet
most of his followers have no idea of what he stands for except
platitudes of “Change” or that he says he will be a “Uniter”. The power
of speech from a charismatic person truly can be a powerful thing.
Certainly Billy Graham had charisma and both his manner of speech and
particularly the content changed millions. On the extreme other hand,
the charisma of Adolph Hitler inspired millions and the results were
catastrophic. Barack Obama certainly is no Hitler or a Billy Graham, but
for many Americans out there feeling just like a surfer who might be
ecstatic and euphoric while riding a tidal wave, the real story is what
happens when it hits shore.
Just Some of What Defines Barack Obama:
* He voted against banning partial “ birth abortion.
* He voted no on notifying parents of minors who get out-of-state abortions.
* Supports affirmative action in Colleges and Government.
* In 2001 he questioned harsh penalties for drug dealing.
* Says he will deal with street level drug dealing as minimum wage affair.
* Admitted marijuana and cocaine use in high school and in college.
* His religious convictions are very murky.
* He is willing to meet with Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Kim JungIl
and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad without preconditions.
* Has said that one of his first goals after being elected would
be to have a conference with all Muslim nations.
* Opposed the Patriot Act.
* First bill he signed that was passed was campaign finance reform.
* Voted No on prohibiting law suits against gun manufacturers.
* Supports universal health-care.
* Voted yes on providing habeas corpus for Guantanamo detainees.
* Supports granting driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants.
* Supports extending welfare to illegal immigrants.
* Voted yes on comprehensive immigration reform.
* Voted yes on allowing illegal aliens to participate in Social Security.
* Wants to make the minimum wage a “living wage”.
* Voted with Democratic Party 96 percent of 251 votes.
* Is a big believer in the separation of church and state.
* Opposed to any efforts to privatize pare of Social Security and
instead supports increasing the amount of tax paid.
* He voted No on repealing the Alternative Minimum Tax
* He voted No on repealing the “Death” Tax
* He wants to raise the Capital Gains Tax.
* Has repeatedly said the surge in Iraq has not succeeded.
* He is ranked as the most liberal Senator in the Senate today
and that takes some doing.
* He has been endorsed by Reverend Louis Farrakhan of the
Nation of Islam .
* He has ties to “pastor” Jeremiah Wright who blames America for 9/11, hates the white race, and mocked the national anthem in a pulpit.
If your political choices are consistent with Barack Obama’s and you
think that his positions will bring America together or make it a better
place, then you will probably enjoy the ride and not forward this Email.
If you are like most Americans that after examining what he stands for,
are truly not in line with his record, it would be prudent to get off
the wave or better yet, never get on, before it comes on shore and
undermines the very foundations of this great Country. We have limited
time to save America or the Supreme Court as we know it. Inaction is
action.

Proof That Anti-Family Politicians Will Judged by God
Proof That Anti-Family Politicians Will Judged by God
by
Rob Hood
Every once in a while we hear about or read about some politician being involved in some kind of money scandal, sex scandal, or other type of scandal. Most of the time, we read about Republican scandals while Democrat scandals are basically ignored by the mainstream pro-democrat news media. The latest of such scandals and illegal actions is from New York Governor and Democrat Eliot Spitzer. Spitzer is also one of Hillary Clinton’s superdelegates. Another fact that the press overlooked.
This man has been a staunch advocate for the destruction of the traditional family and pro-family values and a thorn in the side of conservative pro-lifers for years. The mainstream press is not reporting the fact that this man harassed Crisis Pregnancy Centers and has been involved in the destruction of traditional marriage.
Well, come to find out, God played a significant role in ousting of this man from his position and bringing his negative actions publicly available. For too long he had been going against God’s people and against God’s purpose for life and family that some people decided to use prayer to end his reign of terror.
Last month, Family Research Council, a conservative Christian group made Spitzer a target of prayer concerns. Spitzer tried to turn Roe v. Wade into what he termed as a “fundamental right” for women to have an abortion. It was at that point that prayer began and God intervened. Family Research Council’s prayer pitch was :
“May God intervene to stop Governor Spitzer from succeeding in this evil ambition to make abortion a “fundamental right” in New York! May pro-life New Yorkers somehow prevail, even as they did when he pursued Crisis Pregnancy Centers in 2002! May New Yorkers arise and stir their neighbors to understand the consequences of pursuing this course, and may this bill be defeated!”
Well God did intervene and now Mr. Spitzer is looking at losing everything. Proof that God is still in control of this world and that Satan’s tactics will always fail.
I recommend reading the resources below.

'As California goes, so goes . . .'
’As California goes, so goes . . .’
March 10, 2008
Eight years ago in California, nearly 62% of the Golden State’s voters protected the definition of marriage as the union of only a man and a woman by passing Proposition 22. Since then, attempts to destroy marriage have been relentless:
Two attempts have been made by the California legislature to legalize homosexual marriage; both were vetoed by Governor Schwarzenegger.
All rights, responsibilities and privileges of marriage in California are now given to registered domestic partners.
Superior Court Judge Richard Kramer ruled Prop 22 unconstitutional in 2005; that decision was overturned by the State Appellate Court.
Now, the case against Prop 22 is before the State Supreme Court. After oral arguments in the case, it appears very likely that the majority of judges on California’s highest court will rule against the current meaning of marriage, opening up God’s ordained institution to same-sex couples. A decision will come from the court no later than the end of May. Seeing this danger approaching, a strong network of organizations, ministries, pastors, and individuals created the ProtectMarriage.com coalition in 2005. From this, an initiative of the people, known as the California Marriage Protection Act, is now gathering signatures in order to qualify a constitutional amendment for the November 2008 ballot.
In this critical stage, both for California and the nation, additional money is needed to get the necessary number of petition signatures! Thus far, more than $1.2 million has been raised. Still, funding is needed to ensure the effort’s success.
I recently participated in special gatherings of California pastors to inform them of the state’s attack on traditional marriage and to ask for their help in acquiring signatures. I told the pastors that “today’s conservative legislators are convinced their greatest battles concern the dismantling of religious liberties. The redefinition of marriage will eventually legally silence the truth of God’s Word from the pulpits of our churches. As evidenced in other countries, pastors will be accused of ‘hate speech’ and discrimination.”
As of today, endorsements of the marriage petition number well over 500 groups, and more than 1,500 pastors have participated in events where petitions have been distributed. This statewide, organized effort among churches is broader and more cooperative than any effort that has ever come before it, crossing denominational and theological lines for the purpose of defending our families and our children.
“Responses from citizens throughout California have been overwhelming and very encouraging,” says Ron Prentice, chairman of the PM.com steering committee and director of the California Family Council. “The phones ring non-stop, requests for petitions are coming all day, every day, and hundreds of churches are being assisted in their petition drives.”
With one month left before the signature collection deadline, the progress toward accomplishing the goal of 1.1 million signatures is very good! Thus far, more than half the requisite number of signatures has been collected, and the returns are growing by the day! We can’t afford to stop here and risk defeat before Californians are even allowed to vote.
To financially support the efforts of www.ProtectionMarriage.com to place the natural and biblical definition of marriage into California’s constitution, click here. Every gift is needed, no matter how small. On marriage as on so much else, as California goes, so goes the nation. Thank you and God bless you for donating to this crucial petition drive for marriage as we’ve always known it.

Superfund turns Rational into Irrational
In a true local scenario, the word “superfund” has turned normally cogent people into irrational human beings. When one hears the words possible carcinogen, all rational thought is thrown out the window, because now the locals are involved.
At a very recent meeting at the local firehouse, people met to discuss progress concerning perceived groundwater contamination from an industrial site dating back to the 1980’s. EPA immediately converged on the site, and found the major groundwater and air contaminant to be TCE (trichloroethylene).
But on the TCE Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), it was listed as a “possible human carcinogen”. Carcinogen is defined as “a substance that produces, or tends to produce cancer”. As a result, the cancer flag was raised for the area, and major concerns ensued.
The EPA took samples within a 1-mile radius, and the county a 5-mile radius. One gentleman proclaimed that his family came down with 10 cases of cancer because of the contaminated site. Even the media proclaimed that contamination levels were 4,000 times the safe drinking levels. The site was labeled “superfund”. Many residents wildly ranted that they wanted to exit the area as soon as possible, yet couldn’t sell their houses because of the alleged contamination. “Mushrooming” is probably a good word.
The public doesn’t remember that the EPA actually reduced the maximum contaminant level (MCL) of TCE to 5 parts per billion (ppb). In 1985 it was 100 parts per million (ppm)—or 20,000x higher. Most of the decrease was from the general conclusion that TCE posed a more significant human-heath risk than previous studies had indicated.
The EPA sampled 66 wells in the immediate area. Only one exceeded the MCL. Most others were non-detectable, but below the MCL. Additional sampling revealed an average of 1.2 ppb for residential areas very near the TCE contamination.
Amazingly, several years ago TCE was considered an excellent solvent for a variety of organic materials. It was used as a dry-cleaning solvent for years, but its major use was to extract vegetable oils from soy, coconut and palm. It was also typically used in coffee decaffeination, and as a gas anesthetic (breathing up to 1% vapor [10,000 ppm]).
Because of favorable analgesic properties, “Trilene” (TCE) inhalers were used by thousands to self-administer analgesia, especially those about to give birth. People exposed to high levels of TCE are certainly now into the millions.
The National Toxicology Program has shown that high exposure has sometimes produced liver cancer in mice and kidney cancer in rats—therefore it’s listed as “reasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogen”. But so far in over 100 years, no human is known to have gotten cancer from TCE exposure.
An EPA soil-vapor extraction system has operated since installation on 7/20/06, and is still successfully removing contaminants from the soils. The one resident sampled which was over the MCL, was provided a separate water source by the EPA. The Department of Environment and Natural Resources has instructed this Superfund site to expedite complete remediation. The site has agreed, with a complete plan to come out in April.
Technically, one drop of any contaminant can destroy any watershed or groundwater system for huge tracts of land. Have you checked your drinking water lately? After >$1,000,000 spent for remediation (EPA), false claims of liability (cancer scare), disintegration of the local real estate values, and over 500 very upset residents, a 25 year old plating facility is made the scapegoat for gratuitous fears.
With those expenditures, one wonders why the government is overspending. And quite possibly, the limit of ‘detect-ability’ has now exceeded the dangerous range in many cases. When one’s wife uses hairspray, is she exposed to 500 ppm of dimethylether/various hydrocarbons, or possibly 50,000 ppm (5 % in air)? What about breathing another car’s exhaust for a few minutes while driving? The possibilities are endless…
It’s amazing the information one can get from a rogue Chemical Engineer who lives within a mile of this ‘labeled’ Superfund Site.

Drugs...
The other day, someone at a store in our town read that a Methamphetamine lab had been found in an old farmhouse in the adjoining county and he asked me a rhetorical question, ‘’Why didn’t we have a drug problem when you and I were growing up?’’
I replied I had a drug problem when I was young: I was drug to church on Sunday morning. I was drug to church for weddings and funerals.
I was drug to family reunions and community socials no matter the weather.
I was drug by my ears when I was disrespectful to adults.
I was also drug to the woodshed when I disobeyed my parents, told a lie, brought home a bad report card, did not speak with respect, spoke ill of the teacher or the preacher, or if I didn’t put for th my best effort in everything that was asked of me.
I was drug to the kitchen sink to have my mouth washed out with soap if I uttered a profanity.
I was drug out to pull weeds in mom’s garden and flower beds and cockleburs out of dad’s fields.
I was drug to the homes of family, friends, and neighbors to help out some poor soul who had no one to mow the yard, repair the clothesline, or chop some firewood; and, if my mother had ever known that I took a single dime as a tip for this kindness, she would have drug me back to the woodshed.
Those drugs are still in my veins and they affect my behavior in everything I do, say, and think. They are stronger than cocaine, crack, or heroin; and, if today’s children had this kind of drug problem, America would be a better place.
God bless the parents who drugged us!!

Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
