Time to Define Pro-Life Correctly

It’s very inaccurate to call yourself pro-life if you have exceptions to the rule. According to LifeNews only 17% of the population is truly pro-life in childbirth. The majority of people do believe Roe vs. Wade should be overturned. But if the child is known (or thought) to be damaged, deformed, retarded, in danger of death, or has Down Syndrome one thinks it’s acceptable to abort.

In what is sure to raise hackles for many, this is not a true pro-life position. The truth hurts, but this time it hurts badly. Sometimes it is necessary to put people back on the track where they were meant to be.

If you use an exception when birthing a child, the rule of being pro-life does not apply. It certainly includes some congressional leaders like North Carolina’s Elizabeth Dole or Richard Burr. Their exceptions are abortion for those children conceived by either rape or incest.

Did any of those aborted children perform the evil deed that gave them life? Were they responsible for any rape or act of incest? Yet many of us think that because it was a truly evil action, we must kill the baby. The baby reminds us of that action, or its parent will be unable to take care of it, so killing it will eradicate its problem of coming into the world. But the innocent must suffer the death.

No logic.

Author Mary Beckham (Globe Newspaper) reveals some nasty things. The 1952 Funk & Wagnalls describes Down Syndrome as Trisomy 21, or mongolism. It seems doctors back then said to put a Down Syndrome kid in an institution, an forget you ever had that person. Back then it was institutionalize, instead of kill, as it is now.

She describes how 80-90% of the people in the 1990’s considered likely to have Down Syndrome were aborted. But the test was not perfect. In 1965, Marion Burke’s doctor gave similar advice, but she ignored it and took her son home. Chris would later star in the television series Life Goes On.

Fairly soon a prenatal test can, or does, tell whether a baby will likely develop a mental illness, cancer, a propensity for aggression, blind or deaf, allergic to peanuts, etc., etc… If we decide to abort, we decide to kill. We have judged that their life is not worth living. Have we asked them how they feel about being aborted?

In actuality, 75-85% of pregnant women by rape (major study/Dr. Sandra Mahkorn) chose against abortion. Most realize that abortion is not some magical surgery that turns back the clock to make a woman “un-pregnant”. Will having an abortion truly help her, or will it cause further injury to her already bruised psyche?

In Elliot Institute’s survey of 192 women who became pregnant through rape or incest, nearly 80% of women who did have abortions, said the abortion had not been a good solution, and usually did more harm than good. Of those who did give birth, none regretted continuing the pregnancy. All studies show that incest victims rarely voluntarily agree to an abortion. They usually see pregnancy as a way out of the incestuous relationship, somewhat because the birth of her child will expose the sexual activity.

She is also likely to see in her pregnancy a child with whom she can develop a truly loving relationship--one far different than the exploitive relationship that was forced on her. Even Julie Makimaa, who was conceived through sexual assault, said it best: “It doesn’t matter how I began. What matters is who I will become.”

All those friends hate when it’s said all their very new babies were conceived but were killed by abortifacients such as the “pill”, the IED, RU-486, and the morning-after pill. They were flushed down the toilet without a second thought. It certainly is not a popular thing to say, even though the above is common.

Real life can be tough sometimes. The writer certainly hopes that when he sees his conceived souls later on in the afterlife, they will have forgiven him. But unbelievably, they probably already have.

Many Blacks DO Back Social Conservatives

Recent statements by pundits about how Blacks don’t back social conservatives (SCs) sound exactly like why most Blacks aren’t Republican. 

SCs have always been “on time”. Many expect something from their government. Today, one cannot be discriminatory in hiring, jobs training, or lending. All of those situations are wise monetarily, or not.

It’s well known that Blacks have a higher than normal dropout rate, incarceration rate, and abortion rate. Of all abortions, 37% are performed on Blacks, who make up 12% of the population. SCs would love to have ¼ of the existing Black population still living, even though Roe allows them to be killed legally.

More regulations will make those with less income pay a higher percentage. SCs aren’t in every Black house to get them to conform to laws that will help, but one can vote for fewer regulations.

It’s ironic that the Republicans/SCs were the ones that passed amendments to make Blacks full citizens, to vote, and for every Civil Right. It’s difficult to help yourself when you’re told you’re the victim, always fighting prejudice, and you’re willing to kill your own offspring. It’s hoped those Blacks come home to become true social conservatives.

A Well Needed Exodus Finally Arrives

For a number of years Christian leaders, particularly Baptist leaders have been calling for an exodus of children from public schools in America. The simple reason behind this effort lies in the fact that America’s public education system has become a public indoctrination center that brainwashes and indoctrinates young minds with ultra-left wing fantasies and propaganda. Homosexual activism is rampant in today’s public schools. California in all their glory and splendor has even went so far as to ban the words “Mom” and “dad” in the schools because of political correctness. I don’t know what moron came up with that idea but he/she should have the school paddle used on his/her behind. Ooops! I forgot paddling is illegal in California too! I wonder what day California is going to fall off into the ocean? Like Sodom and Gomorrah, California will pay for these atrocities against young minds.

The unproven “theory” of evolution is taught as absolute infallible incorruptible fact in today’s schools and anyone who dares challenge this unproven “theory” is viciously attacked by those who proclaim “peace” and “tolerance” and “diversity of ideas”. Schools are being used as what Michael Savage refers to as “socialist re-education camps"* California is absolutely the worst state in the nation for promoting homosexual activism and other ideas that do not belong in a child’s classroom. As a result people are starting to remove their children from these far fetch 1960s utopia style of education centers and placing them in real education center where they will learn real America history and not “revised” history. (Revised usually means re-written by liberals for political purposes). These children will not learn that man descended from apes and the universe is here by accident because that is unproven “science” at best. My home state of Mississippi has not yet started an exodus but I look for Southern states to follow California and Florida’s lead. Most Mississippians already have conservative leanings in school anyway simply because the parents are conservative. Parents that I know usually have pretty conservative teenagers even if they are rebellious (most teenager are). Children who grew up learning the Bible in Sunday School, Bible Drill, and Vacation Bible school, usually turn out to be conservative, though this is not always the case. Most parents I know who haul their kids around in the car after school can tell you what Sean Hannity or Michael Savage talked about today and so can most of the kids. I have heard kids as young as eight call in to Sean Hannity and Bill Bennett shows. These kids are educated in the Bible and traditional family principles because the parents take the time to teach the kids that there is an absolute right from wrong.

I commend the exodus that is about to take place in America. It’s about time that parents started taking control of education and taking away the rights of those who want to shove socialism and secular humanism down our throats and use our youth for their shameful political gains. Shame on them! It’s time that Christians of every denomination unite and form one solid unit and together take education back! It’s time that we built our own schools, made our own educational policies and shoved the liberal NEA out the door and into the streets and remove any hint of sexual re-education from public schools forever. Not only that but our newly built schools should proudly recognize the Boy Scouts of America and military recruiters. Change is coming to America not because Barack Obama says so, but because conservatives are getting sick and tired of socialists ruling the day. Change is coming and it’s on its way here starting today! Let’s take back education once and for all.

FISA Decision Dictates Death of Americans

The Protect America Act expired 2/16/08 at midnight. Without this “arm” that exempted foreign communications from FISA’s restrictions, our Intelligence has to revert to using the same terror surveillance laws that failed to protect America from the al-Qaeda attack on 9/11. But this time, all the blame rests on a few American heads.

On the prior Thursday to 2/16, House Democrats purposely left Washington for a 12 day break, and allowed the expiration of the above legislation. It’s a known fact that Osama bin Laden said in 1/06 that al-Qaeda [and other terrorist groups] would hit us again in our homeland. Recently, NIE reports of stepped-up activity by terrorists, but our intelligence doesn’t have all the tools they need for protection. The old laws didn’t protect us on 9/11/01, but the Democrats believe they’ll protect us now?

One seems to forget what FISA stands for—Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. “Foreign” doesn’t stand for “Americans”. But another mass-casualty terrorist attack might be unavoidable for Democrats, because it involves “nonviolations of the nonrights of nonAmericans” (Rich Lowry/ TownHall). FISA gave the government a way to monitor foreign communications and to act. But it requires a warrant to do so. The Protect America Act changed that--temporarily.

Many parlay the 4th Amendment to the Constitution. The 4th is the right of all Americans to be unfettered with personal searches. But it contains the oft forgotten word “unreasonable”. If a terrorist is planning to kill Americans (e.g., your family) by radiation, water contamination, or even nuclear blast, such a search is not unreasonable by any means. In fact, it is the government’s responsibility (Article 4) to protect each American against invasion.

Enemies have continually used the word ‘wiretap’, and charged that Bush is illegally spying on Americans. Do those detractors realize our citizenry has logged at least 200 billion minutes (Warner Houston Cable) in 2003 alone on international calls? It is physically impossible to listen to that many calls.

Past practice with the Protect America Act had the government collecting phone numbers for harvesting and trend analysis. Tony Snow (Press Secretary/Bush Administration) has stated “It only targets international phone calls into/out of the US where one of the parties…is an al-Qaeda or affiliated terrorist.” Those calls are possibly computer ‘earmarked’ as used by potential terrorists.

Mike McConnel (Director of National Intelligence) indicated that our Intelligence yield dropped off by a catastrophic two-thirds. The Wall Street Journal editorialized “This has turned out to be an enormous mistake that has unilaterally disarmed one of our best intelligence weapons in the war on terror.” Evidently the Administration no longer can use “dots” to connect.

The Protect America Act had added two important additions to FISA:

1) The immediate ability to let NSA track foreign calls routed through the US.
2) Give telecom companies liability protection to guard them from lawsuits when they cooperate with intelligence agencies.

The Administration was already working covertly with Verizon, AT&T, and Bellsouth. But disputes of their cooperation with certain government requests have already resulted in over 40 multi-billion dollar lawsuits (Amanda Carpenter/TownHall).

Bottom line, we can continue to listen to overseas targets, but can’t pick up any new targets with FISA’s tedious restrictions—a severe hampering of our intelligence. In other words, get a court-order before anything can be done.

The consequences of this purposeful House inaction, is that Intelligence will not be able to begin new terrorist surveillance without dangerous delays. This is highly reminiscent of the US forces in Iraq (5/07) having to wait 10 hours before they could begin searching for three soldiers taken hostage by al-Qaeda. The wait was forced by lawyers in the US who were hammering out the proper documents to get emergency permission for wiretaps. Later, one of our soldiers was found dead, the other two remain missing. But in actuality, it should take exactly zero hours to rescue our troops.

It’s highly remarkable Obama opposed the FISA arrangement, and even denounced the companies that have assisted the US Intelligence as “special interests”. 

Without a doubt, American people will now likely be killed on American soil. The terrorists will always be the main enemy, but now we have Americans to blame as well. And as Americans, they actually expect our vote.

It seems obvious that many Blacks who belong to the Democrat party have forgotten recent history. Unfortunately, Black History Month seems to leave the wrong impression that Democrats have provided Blacks with the most benefits. It’s likely 90% of Blacks will not vote Republican.

Most know that it was a Republican president that inaugurated the Emancipation Proclamation, and the Amendments that benefited Blacks the most--the 13th, 14th, and 15th. All were pushed through with a majority Republican Congress. Charles Sumner, a distinguished abolitionist and Republican, was distinctly against Democrats who said “If you were for the [Civil] war, you are against the union.� [Old Guard Journal]

Democrat Lyndon B. Johnson’s biographer Robert Caro stated: Prior to 1957 LBJ “had never supported civil rights legislation�. His appointment of Thurgood Marshall to the Supreme Court was praised, but Wynton Hall (Hoover Institute/Stanford) corrected the story: presidential historian Robert Dallek recounts, LBJ explained his decision to a staff member by saying “Son, when I want to appoint a n----r to the court, I want everybody to know he’s a n----r.�

LBJ allowed the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, but had to get it passed through opposing Democrats. Democrats, including Senator Robert Byrd, tried to kill the Act with a filibuster. Relatively unknown Republican Everett Dirksen managed to rouse up Congress to defeat the Democrat-led filibuster. History buffs should remember that Republicans were also responsible for passing the Klu Klux Klan Act of 1871, the Reconstruction Acts, and the 1866, 1875, 1957, and 1960 Civil Rights Acts.

So many Democrats point to the racism of Jesse Helms, Richard Nixon, and other Republicans as reasons to reject the party. But why don’t they talk about the racism of George Wallace, Malcolm X, and Spike Lee? Interesting that almost all of these people are dead and gone, but Blacks continuously think of Republicans as the party of bigotry.

But Bill Clinton has accomplished more for racial inequality that anyone in the recent past. Clinton’s omnibus crime bill revealed a major disparity (100-1) in sentencing of crack and powdered cocaine offenses. This crackdown on young, first-time nonviolent offenders has been devastating to Blacks. When Clinton was asked about this racially biased cocaine sentencing disparity, he said “The situation that exists is unfair, unjustifiable and should be changed.� He never changed it.

Blacks were unjustly burdened by Clinton environmental regulations continuously. Regulations governing storm water runoff added $3500 (Gernstein/NCPPR) to the price of a new house, which could have forced a million lower-income Americans completely out of the housing market. But the Bush EPA has found a less costly and less burdensome plan.

In fact a closer check reveals in the Clinton presidency there were prominent gaps in income, employment, and the continued growth between black and white median wealth. In the dawn of the Bush Administration, the Senate passed the “Brownfield Revitalization Act�, which was the most important environmental action of the 107th Congress. By providing millions in federal assistance to governments and easing cleanup regulations, thousands of destroyed inner-city areas were restored to workable use.

The regulations for “global warming� will cause black household income to fall by $2,200, and eliminate 864,000 jobs held by black Americans (Mike Green/NCPPR). Signing the Kyoto Protocol could potentially double the future price of gasoline (Stuart Pigler/Project 21). During the Clinton years, a mandate that gasoline contain ‘MTBE’ raised the cost by 10 cents/gallon.

The Left insists that incandescent light bulbs should be replaced with compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs). But CFLs are not manufactured in the US, so American jobs will diminish with increasing use.

The Democrats refuse to drill in ANWR, or the US continental shelf. Result: fewer jobs, more energy dependence, and higher transportation costs. If you destroy jobs, or make poor families pay an ever-larger portion of their meager incomes for energy, food and clothing, the hard-won victories for civil rights are quickly reversed.

In 1969 the UNFPA was enacted, but conservative presidents Reagan/Bush(1st) used a 1981 law to prohibit taxpayer dollars from funding overseas programs involved with coercive abortions. Clinton, during his presidency, re-established funding and increased it to $40 million/yr.

Moreover, of all abortions, 37% are performed on Blacks, even though they only make up 12% of the population. Dr. Alveda King (niece/MLK) estimates that ¼ of the Black population is missing due to the genocide of abortion. Since 1973, Black women have had 15 million babies die by saline, suction, chemicals, dismemberment, and the knife. How many of those Blacks would have rivaled Reagan, or MLK?

One party favors keeping this legal killing right now. However, one favors policies that help minority Americans. And there’s only one reason why anyone would vote for the first party. A firm grasp of history is not that reason.

Apostasy Within the Baptist Theology

Anyone who is a Southern Baptist or has even read the Southern Baptist Faith and Message booklet knows that there are certain core principles laid out in the Bible that cannot be changed. Any Southern Baptist or other denomination for that matter knows that God is the author of the Bible through His prophets and messengers. The core beliefs that we hold dear include the fact that God, not chance, created the heavens and the Earth and all living creatures and that man (Adam and his created wife, Eve) messed all of the perfection of creation up when he willingly chose to listen to Satan and to sin against God who made him.

As a result of disobedience through sin, death became the punishment, and the entire creation changed from a perfect world where lions and lambs could live peacefully together, to a wild and brutal survival game we call life. As an answer to this problem Jesus Christ willingly chose to come to this earth and die in our place so that all who would accept this offering of salvation could be saved when Judgment Day comes.

This is the basics of the Southern Baptist Faith and Message. To learn more, you’ll have to order the booklet from the Southern Baptist Convention because it is too lengthy to go into detail here in this article.

Now, about that apostasy that is in the title. Recently there has been a new movement by Baptists, no relation to Southern Baptists, to become a more moderate denomination and this has somewhat been led by former President Jimmy Carter. This more moderate (and more tolerant) denomination is nothing that we haven’t already seen with other denominations who choose to denounce the inerrant and Holy literal word of God and make up their own system of what is right and wrong and make up the kind of God that they think should be worshipped instead of worshipping the one true God who never changes.

The new movement does focus on some humanitarian goals which is just fine. The Southern Baptists and most all religious denominations have some type to humanitarian efforts to contribute to, as we should. The leaders in this new movement is called on its members to “help the poor”. While that sounds great and Jesus did teach that our goals as Christians are to help those who are poor, I can’t help but wondering in what way that these leaders are wanting to help. The specifics are not entirely known. I believing in helping poor people too, but unlike some modern day Democrats, I disagree that socialism is the answer to that problem. People like Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Jimmy Carter, and others were part of this gathering new movement. One more hidden reason for this gathering is to fight global warming. While climate change is real, it is not man-made. At the same time we are called to take care of God’s creation. We are stewards of the earth, but I don’t think believing lies about a made up story to control people’s lives and raise taxes is anywhere in the Bible. There is absolutely no evidence that humans are causing global warming, but there is plenty of evidence that radiation from the Sun is. The national left wing news media keeps ignoring this fact and the fact that global warming is impacting Mars, Neptune, and even Pluto. At this point I must ask Al Gore to go to Pluto and ask those pesky Plutonians to stop driving their SUVs and save their environment.

One man who attended this recent gathering in Atlanta, GA was the famous author John Grisham. Grisham spoke out and basically said that he didn’t not take the Bible literally as did the church that he grew up in. In short he took the left wing approach to theology and labeled real Christians who believe what God says in the Bible, and called them that nasty word that liberals label up as - “Intolerant”. For some reason, anyone who believes that homosexuality is a sin, abortion is murder, and socialism is Godly, is automatically labeled as “homophobic”, “intolerant”, “bigot” and so forth. Just think, these people who are calling us these names are the same people who ask others not to make judgments about some one else’s religious beliefs.

The Southern Baptist Convention is one of the last few remaining denominations who has and I hope always will reject secularism, humanism, Darwinism, liberalism, and apostasy in the church. The Bible must be taken literally where it is meant to be taken literally at in order for mankind to preserve the teachings therein and not lose our faith and our security that God provides through His Holy word. Homosexuality is wrong because God created two entirely different genders to raise families to worship Him. This was the entire purpose of our creation. If you don’t believe it, read Genesis as literal history and then you may understand this situation. Abortion was never intended. Homosexuality came as a result of sin. Greed came from sin. Murder, strife, envy, and all other problems that we face today can be traced back to when Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden.

I encourage other fellow believers not to get discourage at this new movement because in time, God will correct this. So many times Israel was led astray as people today are being led astray and like His chosen people, we must repent, have a shaking, thunderous revival throughout this land, reclaim the supreme authority of the word of God, and only then can we be right with Him. Being more “moderate” in serving God will lead to going astray from what His word says and eventually astray from the truth of life. That is what we must reject at all costs. Apostasy and popular secualr peer pressure must be denounced,rejected, and kicked out of the House of the Lord before the Lord kicks us out of His house.
