“Man-Made” Global Warmers Determined Wrong
“Man-Made” Global Warmers Determined Wrong
People who swear by the idea that man can affect climate—may drown in their own blood in a minute. The one factor left out is proof positive that elevated CO2 does not cause Global Warming. The debate is over. A good scientist can’t afford to miss this data.
If one looks at all temperature correlations and CO2 levels, there appears to be absolutely no correlation between the two variables. Granted, CO2 levels are at 370ppm right now--the highest they’ve been since 1850. But if one looks at the two above variables closely, the case can be made that the rising temperatures are actually responsible for increasing CO2 levels.
From the Scripps Institute (Mauna Loa), it can be seen that CO2 levels have increased virtually every year since 1850. But other sources---tree rings, ice cores, etc…, say that CO2 levels at earlier times have been more than 7x that of today. Per Noel Sheppard(economist; editor of Newsbusters), there have been 72 years in the past 156 (53.8 %) when global average temperatures declined.
Highly correlated items will tend to follow each other, going higher or lower. But in the years that global warming alarmists use to prove this absent correlation, there was virtually no year-over-year connection between CO2 concentrations and temperature. But there are other options that should be evaluated to determine what might be causing the 0.8 oC/century rise lately in surface temperature. Joe D’Aleo (Certified Consulting Meteorlogist) decided to compare the three most probable causes.
He took the newly released USHCN2 surface temperature data set, and compared it against potential climate drivers of CO2, Pacific Decadal Oscillation(PDO), Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation(AMO), and Total Solar Irradiance(TSI).
We know both the Pacific and Atlantic undergo multidecadal cycles of 50-70 years. A warm Pacific(PDO) found from 1922-1947, and again in 1977-1997 was accompanied by more El Ninos, while a cool Pacific more La Ninas. El Ninos and La Ninas have been shown to lead to global warming and to global cooling respectively, and significantly affect temperature trends in North America.
From the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine, Authur B. Robinson, Noah B. Robinson, and Willie Soon have come to the conclusion that increased levels of CO2 have not produced any deleterious effects upon earth’s weather and climate. The earth has been much warmer during the past 3000 years without catastrophic effects. More CO2 will help all people, maintain and improve the health, longevity, prosperity, and productivity. The most practical, economical, and environmentally sound methods available are nuclear and hydrocarbon technologies.
Bottom line, the PDO, AMO, and the TSI all seem to have significantly closer correlations to surface temperatures than CO2. All this information can be found at [ICECAP] or papers by D’Aleo. Any access to CO2 concentrations over the last 150 years, and correlated PDO, AMO, and TSI data will readily show the above conclusions.
The same major climate myth was debunked by Catherine Brahic (NewScientist/[5/17/07]). She showed ice cores with CO2 increases that lag behind temperature rises, disproving the link to Global Warming. It’s estimated the lags may have been approximately 800 years. From Holly Fretwell (research fellow/ Property and Environment Research Center [PERC]):“…the data that shows CO2 levels and temperature changes over the last 650,000 years, what we find is that temperature actually changes first and CO2 in the atmosphere follows that temperature change.”
Once this information settles in with “Global Warming” alarmists, two types will likely emerge. 1) Those that refuse to believe the actual data, and hold fast to their position because they don’t want to be considered wrong. And, 2) Those that will start screaming about concerns over the oncoming Global Cooling impact. That is if the other 17 known facts about natural causes of warming isn’t carefully considered as well.
D’Aleo concludes “Given the recent cooling of the Pacific and Atlantic and rapid decline in solar activity, we might anticipate given these correlations, temperatures to accelerate downward shortly.” Without CO2 driving climate, it is likely global warming alarmists won’t know what to do with themselves.

Expelled...
Dear Readers:
In February a new documentary is coming to theaters and this time, it’s no liberal Micheal Moore or Al Gore movie. This time, it’s a real movie worth seeing.
The name of it is Expelled and Ben Stein stars in it. The documentary focuses on the censorship and suppression of Intelligent Design being able to be taught or even discussed in the public school system versus the everyday forced and unproven theory of molecules to man evolution. It’s one to take any teenage kids to and let them see what’s really going on in the ever so increasingly secular world in which we live.
You can learn more about this new movie at:
http://www.expelledthemovie.com/home.php .
At this site, you can sign up for news updates, read a daily blog post, and learn about resources that can help promote Intelligent Design over evolution to students, teachers, and community leaders and the best thing about signing up is that it’s totally free! I highly
recommend not only visiting this website but also telling a friend or church member about it.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Rob Hood

The One Big Thing that Bush Lacks, but it's not Courage
The One Big Thing that Bush Lacks, but it’s not Courage
by
Rob Hood
As President Bush gave his final State of the Union address, I remembered all of the times that I had stood with our president despite violent liberal outrages and falsehoods during the Bush years. I have stood unashamed and proud of our president who has dared to look Islamofacism in the eye and stare it into oblivion through spreading the promise of hope and freedom to those ruled by evil tyrants like Saddam Hussein and the Taliban. I have stood proud with our president through all of his own trials and tribulations (some created by ultra-left wing news media)and have expressed my support and prayers for the president and his courageous decisions to overpower and conquer evil by all means.
I have been a proud conservative Republican for a while and have basically stood with the party even when some of the leaders of that party have committed wrongdoings and lurched toward the left on fundamental and vital issues like immigration and counter terrorism. After all, we are all human and all make mistakes. President Bush is to be commended for taking a righteous stand against the mass slaughter and genocide of innocents through abortion. He is to be rewarded for taking a stand against one of the most corrupt, sneaky, and evil men in history - Saddam Hussein. The only difference in Hussein and Hitler was that Hussein didn’t have the manpower to complete his Hitler like annihilation of Israel. However, that didn’t keep him from trying. He was a sole perpetrator in funding terrorists inside of Israel to blow up buses and other objects. In returnhe would provide monetary funds and also give terrorists a sanctuary to escape to when the heat was on from those who wished to extinguish their burning fires of hatred.
I was cautious about going into Iraq at first. The battle has been long, but the outcome will be worth the fight in the end. A world without Saddam Hussein is indeed a better world. A world in which terrorists are fearful of their lives and are running away from offensive forces who dare not show mercy on those who commit evil is a much safer world. A world where terrorists are afraid to show their faces (the cowards all wear masks)in fear of being killed on sight is definitely better than a world where terrorists rule and the people are afraid.
I thought that the President’s speech was good, but one thing that this president is wrong on is the Israeli conflict. Recently President Bush went to Israel to promote peace between Israel and the surrounding area called Palestine (formerly known as Canaan). President Bush should look to history and recognize that “land for peace” does not equal peace, because the more land Palestinians get, the more they want. President Bush is a good man and should be commended for his efforts in fighting abortionists, terrorists, and the like, but he should read his Bible. The land of Israel always has and always will belong to God’s chosen people and because of what happened in the book of Genesis three thousand years ago, there will never be peace between the half brothers -Israel and Palestine. The land rightfully belongs to Israel as a promised gift from God to Abraham and his descendants (later led to Christ through King David’s bloodline). God promised the land to Abraham and to his people, but the people sinned so much that all through the Old Testament the land was taken from them and given back many times. Now, in these final days before Christ returns, Israel has been re-established as God’s people once again and today’s politicians in Washington need to look outside of their own financial and political interests and recognize that they are dealing with the most powerful nation in existence - Israel. God allowed America to be formed and has blessed us so far, but remember that God promises to bless those who bless His people and curse those who curse His people as well. America is powerful and rich, but with one swipe God could banish us into servants and slaves if we dare curse His own chosen people. Politicians should be careful who they mess around with because some nations, like Israel have the Almighty creator of everything in existence on their side.
I do agree that peace is great if peace can be achieved, but peace on earth will never be achieved as long as sin is in the world. One day Christ will return as king of kings and Lord of Lords upon the Mount of Olives and will walk down into Jerusalem to rule over creation. Israel has been, is, and always will be God’s chosen people and Washington politicians should recognize that fact and accept it because it’s not ever going to change.
I do wish President Bush well in his final months in office and perhaps we can drive a few more liberals crazy by enacting common sense anti-socialist measures into action. Bush, in my opinion, has been a good leader and a good president. Of course no one is perfect and he has made some mistakes as we all do, but I believe that no matter what the liberals in the mainstream news pressrooms say, Bush’s legacy 100 years from now will be a great one and that he will be remembered as a noble man who did the right thing against overwhelming odds.
God Bless America!

False Prophets...

BIBLE VERSE OF THE WEEK
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping. For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeon to be held for judgment; if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the filthy lives of lawless men (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)— if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials and to hold the unrighteous for the day of judgment, while continuing their punishment. This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the sinful nature and despise authority.

ESPN anchorwoman tells audience: 'F—- Jesus'
ESPN anchorwoman tells audience: ‘F--- Jesus’
ESPN, ABC Refuse to Take Any Action
ESPN and its parent company, ABC, have refused to take any action against ESPN anchorwoman Dana Jacobson for her hateful, slurring remarks against Jesus, saying “F--—Jesus.”
On January 11, Jacobson was speaking at a celebrity roast in Atlantic City, N.J., when she unleashed a profane tirade, saying, “F--- Notre Dame,” “F--- Touchdown Jesus” and finally “F--- Jesus.”
“Touchdown Jesus” is the popular moniker for a statue of Jesus raising his arms, located on the Notre Dame campus.
Catholic League president Bill Donohue spoke with ESPN about the attack and received an e-mail from Jacobson which basically treated the incident as a non-event. The statement said, in part, “I respect all religions and did not mean anything derogatory by my poorly chosen words.”
Jacobson’s comments were at a public event where she was representing ESPN.
The fact that neither ESPN nor ABC has taken any action against Jacobson indicates they have a bias against Christians. Donohue said that Jacobson should be fired.
This anti-Christian bias of the networks is becoming commonplace. Actress Kathy Griffin used her appearance on the Emmy Awards program to tell Jesus to “suck it,” responding to athletes who thank Jesus when they achieve certain levels. No action was taken against Griffin.

Wicca Attempts to Control Life ...
Wicca Attempts to Control Life
Many question whether Wicca is even a religion. The various traditions of Wicca are allegedly part of the neopagan group of earth-based religions. This is quite a contrast to those who believe in the only person to rise from the dead. In fact, it’s the only religion where the followers actually admit that even though they won’t believe Christianity, they cannot disprove the historical reports.
The origins of Wicca come from Gerald Gardner, a retired British civil servant. It is widely believed than Wicca theology started around the 1920’s. It seems as though Wicca is a variety of witchcraft founded on religious and magical concepts.
The word Wica referred to adherents of the tradition of witchcraft. The word seems to be based on the Old English word Wicca. Wicca and its feminine form wice, are predecessors of the modern English witch.
In general, Wicca’s are ambiguous about an afterlife, believe in the possibility of reincarnation, reject heaven and hell, in monotheism or polytheism, that any deity is largely unknowable, the ability to cast magic and spells, and have personal rituals for themselves or their coven to recognize any ‘life’ passage or any combination thereof.
But benign is not a good description of Wicca. Their attacks on any form of Christianity seem to be a must. They insist on the equality of men and women and accept any sexual orientation, and possibly species variation. It’s amazing how gender equality has always been a mainstay of any Christianity, but Wicca plays up perceived differences. A Wicca can allegedly cast any ‘love’ spell at will.
They insist that all Christianity is male dominated. It’s interesting in Christianity the most powerful saint is a woman—the Virgin Mary. They believe Christianity has a negative and restrictive view of sexual behavior. Maybe they forgot God telling all the peoples to “Go out and be fruitful”.
They seem to view time as cyclical, but do not seem to conceive the concept of a ‘begotten’ God, while time is only a linear dimension for humans. Wicca seems to be an oral tradition, and rejects the Bible as a guide. They seem to be close to nature but have forgotten where nature comes from.
They think anyone can discover God on their own. One can do this by themselves, but how are they going to know what ‘interpretation’ is correct? Everyone knows that humans (by themselves) develop multiple interpretations of anything.
God is good, but He allows suffering because He allows a free will. They believe that the Bible is a loose translation of ancient myths, but almost every historic account verifies that Jesus existed and rose from the dead. And no Christian religion ever advocated slavery and the subjugation of women. You’ll have to look to Islam for that.
From Mark Shea/Jeff Cavins (Words of Encouragement): “Christianity is ultimately a religion of cosmic hope, even though it is necessarily bound by the nature of this fallen world to be a religion of soberness and anti-utopianism. Neopaganism is the eternal attempt to find ultimate hope and meaning in this world. It has a few short-term benefits immediate sensual gratification and so forth, but is, in the long term, a worldview afflicted by cosmic sadness since nobody gets out of here alive. Christianity, beyond the thin scrim of it crosses, fasts, and vigils, says that the basic nature of reality is ecstasy and that we are meant to eat, breathe, drink, sleep, live and bathe in it for all eternity.”
In this community, there seems to be a large number of Wicca’s present. We definitely need to pray for their souls. And whether they believe it or not, their souls are integral to the makeup of any Wicca.

Darwin Day to enter a school near you...
"Darwin Day” Coming to a School Near You
by Sharon Hughes
“Darwin Day”, a celebration of “the life of Charles Darwin as the symbol for a global celebration of science and humanity” is coming to a school near you on February 12, 2008.
Sponsored by the Institute for Humanist Studies, their website encourages that Darwin Day be celebrated in many different ways: “civic ceremonies with official proclamations, educational symposia, birthday parties, art shows, book discussions, lobby days, games, protests, and dinner parties. Organizers may include: academic societies, science organizations, free thought groups, religious congregations, libraries, museums, galleries, teachers and students, families and friends.”
Since Charles Darwin was both the ‘father’ of evolution and an atheist, a brief look at a few of the views of today’s atheist evolutionists reveals some of the ‘fruit’ of his theory:
Richard Dawkins, a devotee of Charles Darwin, said that everyone believed in evolution except “the ignorant, stupid or wicked.”
There are some atheists who believe in ‘intelligent design,’ but not by a Creator. They believe an alien life force is a possible option for explaining creation, and they are serious.
Many may be surprised to know that Francis Crick, Nobel Prize winner and one of the discoverers of the structure of DNA, the genetic blueprint for life, believes that life forms were sent to earth in a space ship by a dying civilization. As a matter of fact, both discoverers of the DNA, Watson and Crick, are outspoken atheists.
But not only atheist advocates of evolution are promoting the theory of evolution, the mainstream media is as well, such as when MSNBC did an entire series on where the human species is headed in “Human Evolution at the Crossroads,” discussing such ideas as Unihumans.
Could these, and other such worldviews, be a force behind the battle over allowing creationism to be taught in schools? Yes, I think so.
While objective scientists are investigating whether or not there is evidence that life on earth is the work of an Intelligent Designer, and despite the fact that ID (Intelligent Design) is called a theory, many in the scientific community do not recognize it as a theory but rather as a religious view, and therefore reject investigating the possibility of an Intelligent Designer.
This, of course, begs the following questions:
1) Why would scientists not welcome the search for evidence in regards to the possibility of Intelligent Design when it is the very (purported) nature of science to explore all possibilities?
2) Is science broad enough to allow for all theories of human origins?
3) And is the teaching of the theory of Intelligent Design, using scientific evidence, the same that is claimed to be used in teaching Darwinism, reasonable?
All religions acknowledge a Creator God. So, is the debate over teaching creationism or intelligent design alongside evolution in schools a sound scientific battle—or a worldview battle? The theory of evolution has only existed since the 19th century. Christianity has
existed for over 2,000 and Judaism, longer still. What do you think?
Just for the record, Darwin believed that there is no ultimate meaning in life. I guess that makes sense if you also believe your uncle was a monkey.

BIBLE VERSE OF THE WEEK
Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men. At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone. But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless. Warn a divisive person once, and then warn him a second time. After that, have nothing to do with him. You may be sure that such a man is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.

in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM
from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white Athiest from
Wichita, Kansas.
Obama’s parents met at the University of Hawaii. When Obama was two
years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His
mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia.
When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama
attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a
Catholic school.
Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is
quick to point out that, “He was once a Muslim, but that he also
attended Catholic school.”
Obama’s political handlers are attempting to make it appear that
that he is not a radical.
Obama’s introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this
influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned
to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct
influence over his son’s education.
Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham,
introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school
in Jakarta.
Wahabism is the RADICAL ISLAMIC teaching that is followed by the Muslim
terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since
it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major
public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined
the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim
background. ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he
DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran.
Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegience nor
will he show any reverence for our flag. While others place their hands
over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches.
Let us all remain alert concerning Obama’s expected presidential
candidacy.
The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside
out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the
President of the United States, one of their own!!!!

UN Enters the War on Terror—On Whose Side?
By Nathan Tabor
After years of speaking out of both sides of its mouth on the issue of terrorism, the United Nations has finally staked out a clear position: Any negative portrayal of Islam will not be tolerated.
The General Assembly has just passed a resolution entitled “Combating Defamation of Religions” which deals exclusively with perceived slights committed against the Islamic faith.
What led the United Nations to this counterintuitive conclusion? The 2005 Danish cartoons which featured the prophet Muhammed. Additionally, the resolution alleges that the media have “negatively portrayed Islam” and painted Islam as a religion of terrorism.
Let’s pause for a moment to examine the tortured logic behind the resolution and the UN’s position.
For the past 30 years, Islamic terrorists have attacked civilian targets in Europe, Israel and more recently, the United States—to say nothing of the murderous violence committed by extremists in Muslim countries. Osama bin Laden, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and others have themselves claimed the label of “Muslim”; no one has thrust it upon them.
More to the point, our president and our government have taken great pains to clearly distinguish the United States’ war against the Islamic radicals from a more indiscriminate war against Islam in general. President Bush has repeatedly refused to lay the blame for terrorism at the feet of Islam. Despite the fact that Islamic extremists continue to maim and kill innocents, the United Nations insists that even to mention that fact is to tar all Muslims with the same gruesome brush.
The UN’s sense of priority is curious indeed. Why does the General Assembly continue to blame the victim? An easy answer would be that its “humanitarian” impulses nearly always lead the United Nations to do the wrong thing at the wrong time. However, there’s a bit more method to this particular madness.
Within the General Assembly, the Organization of the Islamic Council bears responsibility for the resolution. As Robert Spencer has noted in a column for FrontPageMagazine.com, the OIC occupies the largest voting bloc in the assembly. When one considers the relationship between society, faith and governments in much of the Middle East, these things begin to make more sense.
In the United States, the religious and political spheres overlap in places; devoutly religious men and women seek and hold political office, often appealing to loyalties of faith in doing so. Yet the Constitution’s protection of religious liberty and our deeply rooted Anglo-American tradition of civil government maintain faith and politics as independent spheres of influence.
In much of the Middle East, however, the two spheres are one and the same. In Iran, the mullahs are also the rulers. In Saudi Arabia, the House of Saud has maintained its grip in political power in large part due to the support of the ulama, or Islamic clerics. Therefore, a critique of Saudi or Iranian society is often interpreted as a critique of Islam itself.
The current threat of Islamist violence is ultimately rooted in the simple fact that encroaching Western culture represents a threat to the status quo in much of the Third World, where despots and religious extremists hold most of the political power.
Crass though it may be, the commercial culture of the West has the power to awaken the desire for a better life within those who have known only subjugation. The foundation of that better life—rule of law, free markets, a government that is responsive to its citizens --must necessarily be laid with the headstone of the old order.
In the meantime, this United Nations resolution must be seen and declared for what it is: One more futile attempt to stop the onset of progress in the places that need it most. The OIC does not speak for all Muslims, and it does not speak for the citizens of its member states. Let’s not give them the attention they so desperately demand.

Anti-Christian Comments by CA Teacher Prompt Suit by Student, Parents
BIBLE VERSE OF THE WEEK
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
Colossians 1:15-18

Making a killing from taxes...
Paying Your Taxes for Killing
A US agency can’t be doing this. Our tax dollars can’t be going to an agency that specializes in ripping up and dancing on the 5th Commandment---the one that commands us not to murder?
In this era of federal budget sensitivity, it’s more than interesting how one particular corporation claims to be non-profit. But it takes $305 million/year from taxpayer wallets—about 1/3 of its total budget. In 2003, the president (Gloria Feldt) paid herself $379,788(Birch/ FIDELIS).
This corporation has indoctrinated America’s youth by making a special section on their website (“Teenwire”) [Birch] which now receives 400,000 visits per month. They seem to specialize in the legalization of homosexual marriage, promiscuity of teens, protection of statutory rapists, and unabashed promotion of ‘abortion rights’. They oppose any abstinence education in public schools, and are a huge proponent of population control.
Back in 1942, the founder of this organization had as her goal the subjugation of poor ethnic peoples, including Blacks (White/ LifeNews). Her famous slogan was “More from the fit, less from the unfit.” Today, this organization considers abortion, sterilization, and contraception “health issues”. These are considered necessary to fight poverty. This echoes Hitler’s slogans during his reign.
This founder typically practiced ‘negative eugenics’ by lowering the fertility among the genetically disadvantaged. She called Christianity “parasitic” and looked forward to the day when humanity would be freed from its “tyranny”. She labeled the sacrament of marriage a “decadent institution”, and her magazine proudly declared her motto “No Gods, No Masters.” [Birch]
In 2001 alone, this organization performed 16% of the nation’s 213,026 abortions. If 9/11/01 happened 71 times, you get that many deaths—almost. It currently has 5 million customers, but in 2004 referred only 1414 customers to adoption agencies. They currently make >$90 million/yr on the abortion industry, at a minimum of $375 per abortion. In just 2002, their fiscal year ended with a $36.6 million profit—all from a ‘non-profit’ group.
From 1977 to 2002, this group reported a gross total of 3,246,934 abortions. Shockingly, it has reported that in 2004 it has sold 983,357 ‘emergency’ birth control kits. That was 21.3% more than 2003 (Ertelt/LifeNews). Only this organization knows how many were sold in 2007. This kit contains the morning-after pill(Plan B), costs about $50, and makes the uterus lining inhospitable preventing implantation of a fertilized embryo(the youngest baby). “Abortifacient” is an accurate term.
If one does a few calculations, and speculates that ~20% of fertilized embryos were disposed of by this method, then 200,000/yr was killed by this method. That, of course, was only in 2003.
It has been determined that the total taxpayer money to this organization via government grants and contracts from 1987 to June 2002 has been $2,454,900,000 (Gigant/Celebrate Life). That organization, for those who don’t know it yet, is Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA).
In 2001, all minority women compromised ~22% of the US population. In 2001, 45% of surgical abortions were performed on minority women (American Life League/ July 2003). Has the founder of PPFA (Margaret Sanger) actually died? Do her aspirations live on?
In 2002, the corporate donors to PPFA may be uncomfortable to hear. The more popular include: American Express, Bank of America, Dallas Cowboys, Johnson & Johnson, Levi Strauss, Microsoft, Prudential, New York Times, Sony, United Way, Wachovia, and Walt Disney (LDI; Boycott list). It is unknown if these corporations still donate to PPFA today, but it would be good to check.
The number of PPFA clinics in the US actually was reduced from 938(in 1995) to 817(in 2006) [Sears/ National Catholic Register]. Now, PPFA is demanding even more federal funds, while opposing money for abstinence programs. All the while, abortions performed by PPFA have been rising along with abortion costs. And in 2006, PPFA provided no adoption referrals. The word adoption is not even found in the PPFA’s annual report (2005-2006).
It’s easy to remember the PFFA employee in California recently urging an undercover college journalist (posing as a pregnant minor) to lie about her age to avoid a mandatory report of statutory rape. It’s quite fascinating that PFFA only makes big money when large numbers of babies die.
We remember Thomas Jefferson’s words: “To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.”
Since most believe in a heaven, it’s likely that anyone not forgiven who has donated, used, or continues to vote for funding for Planned Parenthood may be in dire eternal jeopardy.

Just War...
Iraq an Obvious “Just War”
Only those that fall into specific categories dare to believe that the Iraq War was not “just”. Many seem to be under certain misconceptions about the Iraq conflict with erroneous rumors.
It seems obvious that if someone doesn’t like Bush’s moral stand (abortion, federal funding embryonic stem cell research, illegal drugs, etc…) they will hate almost every other decision Bush makes. Emotion seems to be in high gear.
Many refuse to believe any conservative view of the Iraq War. It is a given that Bush has more resources than almost anybody on the planet. The President has always had more information on what the dangers to Americans were, military capabilities possessed by every country, atrocities committed by Hussein, and essentially any WMD Hussein had.
All four conditions for a “Just War” have been arguably met. Every country’s intelligence agency said the same thing—Hussein had WMDs, and was going to use them. Hussein ignored 19 resolutions made by the UN after the 1st Gulf War, blatantly lied (Blix/ UN inspector) on his 14,000 page report, had contacts in Niger pursuing yellowcake for nuclear weapons (Brit Intelligence), and tried to shoot down allied jets in the no-fly zone.
Few mention the documentation found in one of Hussein’s palaces [fmso.leavenworth.army.mil/products.docex.htm]. It was obvious (particularly on that website) that Hussein aided and abetted radical terrorist groups routinely. In the Freedom of Information Act it was admitted that over 300,000 troops likely breathed small doses of sarin gas during the initial incursion—proof positive Hussein had WMDs.
No person, upon understanding all of the critical information regarding Hussein, could ever deny the incursion was not “just”. Did the majority of the populace not get all the pertinent information, or did they just not like someone indicating that their “lifestyle” might be incorrect?
Many people, even some Catholics, said John Paul II was against the incursion. The pope did not like killing at all—as most don’t. But he never said the conflict was ‘immoral’. It seems he had already been advised of Hussein’s threats, killings, and atrocities.
Some make two false assumptions: 1) this conflict was not warranted because no 9/11 terrorist was born in Iraq, and 2) the Allies ‘invaded’ a sovereign nation.
A terrorist doesn’t have to be born in Iraq to train for terrorism on a Boeing 707 fuselage in downtown Baghdad (Salman Pak). The incursion was to dethrone Hussein only, and it did so. The oft-used word ‘invasion’ cannot be applied. No civilians were purposely targeted, no land was grabbed, no specific type of government was demanded, no national riches (e.g., oil) were taken, and no chosen leader was installed.
Later, when terrorists attacked the allies, the conflict was upgraded to the “War on Terror”. If Iraq was not a major terrorist ‘weigh’ station, why would they continually obliterate all the allies with IEDs? Any terrorist would likely hide and fight another day—and, on their own terms. But the terrorists seem to badly want Iraq. As General Petraeus said, Iraq was the major front for terrorism.
It seems obvious that any retreat from Iraq, before the Iraqis can take care of themselves, sends the direct message—“We don’t have the stomach for any deaths, and you can have your way.” It’s interesting that Iraqi citizens are now immigrating back into Iraq once they see that the ‘surge’ is now displacing the terrorists.
Many forget Islamic history. The meaning of ‘Islam’ in Arabic is not ‘peace’, but ‘submission’. In the Qu’ran, the duty for all Muslims to fight for Allah’s community is ‘jihad’, translated---‘struggle; fight’.
The Muslims have been conquering lands since Mohammed. Egypt and Syria were initially Christian, but were overrun by Muslims. The Crusades were only directed at Muslims who had conquered and still held Christian lands. Unfortunately, 9/11 cemented the radical Muslim conflict.
We must admit that a major dividing line has been drawn between most Americans. But raw emotions won’t change that—correct information will.
A few recent events illuminating this huge divide are morality, man-made global warming, and the Iraq War. Many others can be pointed out.
There can only be unification if everyone is operating from the same page. The lack of rationality to look at all the information and to believe your morality is the only morality is getting progressively worse.
The category those put themselves into by not believing information on the Iraq War (and other topics) can, and has been, detrimental to many Americans. For all those men and women who died fighting for our freedom, we hope they forgave those unpatriotic citizens.
