Legion(a devil) Still Present Today with Abortion

If one is Christian, one must believe in the devil as well. Even ‘devil’ worshippers know the name, and believe in him. We call the devil many names—Beelzebub, Satan, the Evil One, etc… Many refuse to admit he exists.  One specific name is discussed in Matthew, Mark, and Luke(New Testament writers for non-Christians). He cajoled many into doing evil deeds. It seems he has returned in full force to dominate, especially with the evil of abortion.

One of the few times Jesus actually asks the devil’s name[Mk 5:9], He gets a response—“Legion”. Of course, Jesus already knew his name. But the question was asked for our benefit. Why would he be around to cause iniquities in Jesus’ time, but not be present now? With abortion though, it seems obvious that this evil can be accomplished easily.

From Dionysus(Catholic World Report[7/07]), an off-the-wall topic is discussed. It’s always asked, how can a human actually kill one of its offspring? Many humans judge that their offspring, if not actually breathing air, is not worthy of life. Why don’t we ever see any animals do something as abhorrent?

It’s interesting how easily humans can be cajoled into doing something that is evil. The devil knows that if a human can rationalize a death, or even made out to be the victim or the hero, abortion can be made into something easy to swallow. 

You hear: “A higher secular entity(e.g., the Supreme Court) now says that abortion is legal, so they’re to blame. It’s at too young a stage to be human, or to have a soul. It would be too much of a burden to have, so it has to be expendable.  It’s possible the baby made could have a birth defect(e.g., Down’s Syndrome, etc…), so it must be expendable. The baby was made by the heinous acts of incest, rape, or it’s just unwanted, so let’s kill the baby to even up the score. If the baby could be killed beforehand, it would be much less trouble for the parents, so actually we’ll be doing all parties a favor.”

Human thinking has been warped into believing many reasons for abortion. They rarely think about what pain the baby may feel during the extraction and removal. “Well,” they say “the baby doesn’t feel any pain at less than 20 weeks old.” Our technology 50 years ago said that no pain for the baby until birth. What will we know in another 50 years? What about after 20 weeks??

In fact, we’ve been so numbed to what the baby can go through we actually can deliver most of the baby, and jam a needle into the baby’s skull to scramble its brains before it is delivered dead. It’s now illegal to conduct a partial-birth abortion, but the more ‘intelligent’ have figured a way to achieve the act anyway.

Legion and his cohorts work well---exceedingly well. He knows that if a human can rationalize an abortion by thinking that they were the ones to suffer for it, or that they actually did a ‘good’ deed, he’s accomplished his purpose. It doesn’t sound like killing then.

If one is a Christian, then that person must believe in an inferior evil force. And if that force is a fallen angel, chances are high that Legion is still around. The fact that few admit Legion’s presence today is another feather in the devil’s cap. One can always believe a Legion doesn’t exist at all. For Legion’s purpose, that may support the objective. Of course, if 9/11 doesn’t prove that evil exists--it won’t exist--until the day you die.

Washington D.C. - Family Research Council President Tony Perkins today called
the Senate vote on so-called hate crimes “a discriminatory move creating
second-class victims.” The Senate voted 60-39 on an amendment offered by Sen.
Ted Kennedy to the Defense Authorization bill which would give the federal
government jurisdiction over virtually every “hate crime,” regardless of whether
the states seek federal involvement. The provision would also add “sexual
orientation” and gender identity to the list of “hate crimes” already covered by
federal law.

“A vote in favor of so-called ‘hate crimes’ legislation today is a direct
violation of the Constitution’s Equal Protection Clause,” Perkins said.
“Congress needs to remember that preserving equal justice under the law is more
important than scoring points with advocates of homosexual behavior.”

“All violent crimes are hate crimes, and every victim is equally important. We
applaud the President’s intention to veto this unconstitutional betrayal of
victims’ rights. All our citizens deserve equal justice under the law. Congress
should represent all Americans, not give special protections for some.”

Holy Desecration - A sickening Twist in Anti-Christian Behavior

In the last few years I have witnessed a dedicated barrage of attacks on Christianity and the symbols and traditions of the religion. One event in Pennsylvania inspired my writing of my first book, Issues That Matter: America’s Moral Battleground in 2005.

I realize that some people have no interest in Christianity and have no desire to learn about it. Based upon that standpoint, there is not much that Christians can do. In no way do we try to force our religion on people as some on the far left claim we do. There is a difference between having a code of decency and morals based upon the Bible and actually forcing someone to kneel down to a particular religion. In America, we are free. If you so choose not to participate in religion at all, then okay.

However, some on the far left who have been waging private wars against conservative Christianity for years have finally drawn the last straw on common human decency and respect for the human race. I though that the war on Christmas was bad. I though that the ACLU’s war on the public display of the Ten Commandments and Young Earth Creationism was bad. I thought the far left’s private war on public prayer was bad. I though the homosexual, anti-Creation, anti-conservative indoctrination within the public school system was bad. I though that all of these things were bad, until I recently read about the desecration of the Last Supper. Dan Brown desecrated the Last Supper and the religion of Christianity bad enough, but what you are about to read engulfs that ten fold.

According to Concerned Women for America (www.cwfa.org) and other sources, a Miller Brewing Company sponsored Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco (should have guessed it) has mocked Christianity and Da Vinci’s painting of the Last Supper. The organizers have done the unthinkable by portraying Jesus, the sinless, perfect, Holy Son of God the Creator, and his disciples as homosexual sadomasochists. As noted by CWFA, homosexuals often refer to Christians as “homophobic” just because we respect and believe the Bible and take it literally. CFWA also points out that tax payers foot most of the bill for such an event that promotes hatred towards people of faith. So much for tolerance and fairness eh?

The portrayal of Jesus and His disciples as homosexuals is not the only boundary crossed here in this circus. The bread and wine that represents Christ’s broken body as a way of salvation was replaced with sex toys. The fact that any city inside the United States would allow such an event says that our nation has completed gone insane. Of course, the homosexual groups will claim “tolerance” when confronted, but where does tolerance end and sanity begin? Where is the line between respect, dignity, honor, and selfish evil desires? Could these protesters not make their point in a more civilized manner?

Sodom and Gomorrah had their day of destruction and so will America if she continues down this Godless and senseless path of self destruction.

A few days ago when Iran’s president visited the United States and spoke before the UN council, he said that Iran had no gay people and literally mocked and made fun of America for our open homosexual tolerance. I am sure that homosexuality exists in Iran, just not openly because that would result in the death penalty there. Old Testament Jewish laws called for the death penalty for homosexuality as well.

While I believe in capital punishment for the worst of criminals (Hitler, Hussein,etc.) and I am openly against the sinful lifestyle of homosexuality, I feel that the death penalty goes too far with this circumstance. While homosexuality is a sin, it is not a justifiable crime in the American justice system. The fact is that homosexuality is not natural and homosexuals can change when they desire to do so. Studies have backed that up (see references)and besides that, who needs a study when the Bible states clearly how to change - repent! It also states clearly that a woman was made for man, not another man, for man. Read the book of Genesis. 

The secular, tolerant society that the far left is rapidly building will be the downfall of America. God will punish America if we as conservative God fearing people do not take it back from them and change America back to a God fearing country. Iran’s president may be aggressive and may be a threat to the U.S. and the middle east, but he is right to mock our country’s tolerant policies. One reason that terrorists laugh at us is that they see our weakness to in our tolerant and openly sinful society. America used to be a strong country with strong God fearing praying leaders who openly prayed for America’s safety and well being. Nowadays, if one was to do that he/she would be swamped by ACLU lawyers and lawsuits. Whatever happened to the days when one could see street preachers preaching the Word of God while people listened and agreed with the message and no one was threatened by an ACLU lawyer? Where are those days and why can’t we fight hard enough to get them back? Where are the days when rampant open sexuality of any kind was seen as vulgar? Sexuality is natural and intended for marriage, but not publicly.  What has happened to America? For that answer, one has to look at the liberal Marxist ideologies proclaimed through college campuses from the 1930s through the 1970s and the Marxist proclamation that continues to this day. Indocotrination has nearly killed a God fearing nation.

It does not have to end that way. There are still enough conservatives left in America that we can take this country back and yell “ENOUGH ALREADY!” The far left has damaged the country, but not beyond repair yet. We can still take back America, put prayer back into the public arena like it was when America was formed, and ultimately regain our strength, honor, and respect.

The far left homosexual groups and other far left groups like Media Matters, Moveon.org, the ACLU, Daily Kos, and others may be winning the battle for now with their persecution of conservative Christianity, but I hope that I do not get a look at their face on Judgment Day when Christ returns as King of Kings and Lord of Lords to judge mankind. On that day, politicians, lawyers, and the like will be powerless before an almighty creator who know the truth about every event that has happened in the last 6,000 years of Earth’s history. I just pray that these groups of people repent and are saved before that day comes.

No wonder Mr. O’Reilly’s ratings are better.

MoveOn’s Misfire

It would be foolish to discount the political power of the Internet phenom known as MoveOn.org. After all, it claims 3.2 million members, and there’s no denying that it has become a major player in the Democratic Party.

But it appears that MoveOn.org misfired, public relations-wise, when it ran an ad in the New York Times raising questions about the integrity of General David H. Petraeus, the leader of U.S. forces in Iraq.

The U.S. Senate has now approved a resolution condemning the liberal organization’s provocative ad. Yet, Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton reportedly voted against the resolution. One is only left to wonder if the current Commander-in-Chief had been a Democrat if Senator Clinton would have voted differently.

In the midst of the controversy, now comes word that the Times management regrets the decision to run the advertisement, which was famously headlined, “General Petraeus or General Betray Us?”

The public editor of the Times, Clark Hoyt, now says the advertisement violated the newspaper’s own standards. In addition, according to Hoyt, MoveOn.org was seriously undercharged for the ad. Hoyt noted that the spokeswoman for the Times, Catherine Mathis, has stated, “We made a mistake.”

Meanwhile, the Commander-in-Chief has issued this assessment of AdGate: “I felt like the ad was an attack, not only on General Petraeus, but on the U.S. military,” said President George W. Bush. “And I was disappointed that not more leaders in the Democratic Party spoke out strongly against that kind of ad.”

As the President eloquently pointed out, it seems that the Dems are more afraid of irritating MoveOn.org than they are of irritating the U.S. military.

There are certain values that should be upheld, no matter what the political controversies of the day. One of those is support for our military—both the troops on the battlefield and the commanders who must make excruciatingly difficult decisions about how to conduct a war. General Petraeus should be given the respect he deserves and not be made the scapegoat of a political squabble.

But, if some find it difficult to give credit to anyone wearing a military uniform, perhaps they can at least respect the truth. As General Petraeus has noted, the U.S. troop surge has achieved success, especially with respect to Al Qaida insurgents west of Baghdad.
Some liberals have created a cottage industry based on the claim that President Bush lied to force the U.S. into a military engagement in Iraq. But, with Bush critics such as MoveOn.org hurling insults at an honorable man like General Petraeus, the only logical question is: Who’s lying now?

JERUSALEM, Sep 23, 2007 (UPI via COMTEX)—Israel’s attack a Syrian military base was launched with White House approval, The Sunday Times of London reported.

Prior to giving the nod, President George Bush and Pentagon officials sought—and were given—evidence that North Korea had supplied nuclear material to Syria, The Times said.

The newspaper cited sources in Washington and Jerusalem alleging Israeli commandos seized some of the material before its air force bombed the containment site in Syria Sept. 6. A number of North Koreans were reportedly killed in the attack.

Syrian officials flew to North Korea last week, reinforcing speculation the nations are coordinating a response, The Times reported.

The nuclear transaction has sparked fears that Syria is joining North Korea and Iran in the development of nuclear weapons.

No Gap...

Q: Did Jesus allow for a gap?

A: If you carefully study the words of Jesus, He made it plain that there can’t be a gap of billions of years between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2.

In Mark 10:6, Jesus said, “But from the beginning of creation God made them male and female.” In these very words, Jesus clearly teaches that Adam and Eve were created in “the beginning of the creation”—not after billions of years had passed. Also, the expression “beginning of the creation” rules out any “re-creation” or “second start” as taught by many gap theorists.

The main reason that people try to place a gap between the first two verses of Genesis is to accommodate the supposed billions of years for the earth’s age. When one does this, he is essentially placing more faith in secular (i.e., without God) understanding than in God’s infallible Word.

Jesus made it plain that such a compromise cannot be done! And we should follow His understanding and His words—because, after all, He is the author of creation and the Word made flesh!

Petraeus Proves Media Bias is over the Top

What does it say if the ‘left’ feeds on the mainstream media for its information, but it’s proved that media is highly biased. Never before in America has the populace been so divided. Never before has that bias been so aptly demonstrated during General Petraeus’s recent report to Congress.

General David Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker gave testimony on Capitol Hill very recently about the recent surge in Iraq. It can be summed up as “The operation was a success, but the prognosis of the patient is guarded.”

Strange, but that’s not what we’re hearing from most of the mainstream media outlets. Very recent media stories include: 1) Newsweek’s assertion that a woman had become an ordained Catholic priest, 2) NASA’s James Hansen’s incorrect information on hottest temperatures in the decade, 3) Alan Greenspan’s rebuke that “I never said that the Iraq war was about oil.”, 4) ABC News’ Alexis Debat resigns after revelation of at least three faked interviews, MoveOn.org calls Gen. Petraeus “General Betray Us”. Even Hillary Clinton accused the General during his testimony of “the willing suspension of disbelief” about the real facts---a not-so-subtle way of calling Petraeus a liar.

But Petraeus was unanimously confirmed to go to Iraq by a Democrat-led Congress. Petraeus has a Masters and PhD from Princeton, served in Iraq for nearly three years, and wrote the book on counter insurgency. But why was the Democrat line so unified against any progress in Iraq when Petraeus did exactly what he was asked? Why are the Democrats so opposed to any progress? Was their unanimous confirmation simply based on the fact that he was supposed to tell Americans something the Democrats liked? Why is major media’s message so anti-Republican, and contains so many errors?

One begins to wonder about the ‘left’. According to a (9/6)Zogby poll, 42% of Democrats believe that the Bush Administration planned 9/11, executed it, and covered it up with a story of radical Islamists in order to justify more military involvement in the Middle East. Right--and the writer has a bridge in Louisiana across a swamp he wants to sell you.

Any thinking person has to see that all the terrorist attacks are happening in Iraq for a reason. Petraeus has already said that our #1 enemy is AQI(al-Qaeda Iraq). Is there something that we should not see in Iraq that was hidden by Hussein before he was toppled? Come to think of it, there are many places to hide a “WMD” where the main color is brown.

How can Petraeus and Crocker not speak of the striking military successes of the ‘surge’ strategy? Ken Connor(TownHall) admits that incidents of ethno-sectarian violence and deaths are down; number of weapons caches found and cleared, is up; IED explosions and car bombings are down; and the number of al-Qaeda leaders captured or killed, is up. Petraeus even reported that 100 key leaders were killed or captured, as well as some 2500 al-Qaeda militia.

It turns out al-Qaeda has been on the run in Afghanistan since 2003. Sizable numbers of al-Qaeda have already been neutralized in Pakistan, Somalia, Saudi Arabia Yemen and other countries. Many local tribes are beginning to turn against al-Qaeda in support of our troops and the new government. Sunni tribes, in particular, seem to be turning against al-Qaeda.

But the picture is not totally sunny. Military successes have been many, but political victories have been few. Deep divisions remain over how to share power and divide resources among the Kurds, Sunnis, and Shi’ites. Per Petraeus, there are two distinct enemy forces. They consist of AQI , and Iranian-backed Shiite forces.  Petraeus was surprised by the depth of Iran’s involvement in the war. It was also determined that al-Qaeda, Iran and Syria are the primary instigators of ethnic violence and chaos in Iraq. And, videotapes recently found indicate that bin Laden and/or his disciples retain a laser focus on Iraq for some reason.

In addition to al-Qaeda, other jihadi militants like Iranian “Quds” officers and Shiite militants, are being caught in Iraq. But many, including Petraeus and Crocker, understand the sheer insanity of backing out immediately, and letting Iraq fend for itself. One of the expected horrendous results would be that Iran would snatch key pieces of Iraq for itself. Of course at that point, all terrorists would feel that they had a free hand to do as they will.

What’s really amazing is the staggering arrogance of lawmakers in rebuking the Iraqi parliament for failing to become stabilized, in a fraction of the time it took the American government to do it 250 yeas ago. Sooner or later, we will find out exactly why al-Qaeda terrorists are fighting so hard to retain possession of Iraq…

PELOSI ON RETIREMENT

Madam Speaker Nancy Pelosi wants to put a Windfall Tax on all stock market profits (including Retirement fund, 401Ks and Mutual Funds!) Alas, it is true - all to help the 12 Million Illegal Immigrants and other unemployed Minorities!

Nancy Pelosi condemned the new record highs of the stock market as “just another example of Bush policies helping the rich get richer”.  “First Bush cut taxes for the rich and the economy has rebounded with new record low unemployment rates, which only means wealthy employers are getting even wealthier at the expense of the underpaid working class”.

She went on to say “Despite the billions of dollars being spent in Iraq our economy is still strong and government tax revenues are at all time highs.  What this really means is that business is exploiti ng the war effort and working Americans, just to put money in their own pockets”.

When questioned about recent stock market highs she responded “Only the rich benefit from these record highs. Working Americans, welfare recipients, the unemployed and minorities are not sharing in these obscene record highs”. There is no question these windfall profits and income created by the Bush administration need to be taxed at 100% rate and those dollars redistributed to the poor and working class”.  Profits from the stock market do not reward the hard work of our working class who, by their hard work, are responsible for generating these corporate profits that create stock market profits for the rich.  We in congress will need to address this issue to either tax these profits or to control the stock m arket to prevent this unearned income t o flow to the rich.”

When asked about the fac t that over 80% of all Americans have investments in mutual funds, retirement funds, 401Ks, and the stock market she replied “That may be true, but probably only 5% account for 90% of all these investment dollars.  That’s just more “trickle down” economics claiming that if a corporation is successful that everyone from the CEO to the floor sweeper benefit from higher wages and job security which is ridiculous”.  “How much of this ‘trickle down’ ever gets to the unemployed and minorities in our county?  None, and that’s the tragedy of these stock market highs.”

“We democrats are going to address this issue after the election when we take control of the congress.  We will return to the 60% to 80% tax rates on the rich and we will be able to take at least 30% of al l current lower income tax payers off the rolls and increase government income substantially.” We need to w o rk toward the goal of equalizing income in our country and at the same time limiting the amount the rich can invest.”

When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied :  “We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities.  For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market windfall profits taxes could go a long ways to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as ‘Americans’.”

Nancy Pelosi and the far left Democrats have to be stopped in 2008 if we do not want socialism and gun bans to take place.

Not the victim...

The Mother is NOT the Victim in an Abortion

Roe vs. Wade will be overturned. The question is no longer “if”, but “when”. But will the woman, the doctor, or both, be charged as the accessory, the accomplice, or the murderer of the child killed? What about a family member who cajoles and facilitates the abortion itself? These give some important reasons to have pro-life judges. If there is a pro-abortion judge, will anyone of the above party pay for the crime?

And, when Roe is overturned, the question of the legality of abortion goes directly to the states. Most will outlaw the heinous act, but there will be a few states, to be sure, who will vote to keep abortion legal—at least for awhile.

We must be very careful as to whom we label the victim here. Webster’s defines “victim” as “A person sacrificed, injured, or destroyed; or a person who dies or suffers as a result of voluntarily undertaking some enterprise or pursuit.” This definition makes things crystal clear. First, the baby dies and is destroyed posthaste---the victim. But the woman doesn’t die. In most cases, she wants the abortion to happen—possibly along with a host of others who may be equally complicit in the baby’s death.

No doubt, it is possible that the woman could be put under severe duress to have an abortion. She could be threatened with monetary losses, physical harm, or dissolution of the marriage(if one exists). Unfortunately, none of these comes even close to killing a human person.

That’s precisely why a judge needs to make a decision on the complicity of the parties involved. There may be cases where the woman need not be relegated to the “slammer”. But there are many cases that do exist for such a crime. Several reasons that abortions are done: 1)birth control; 2)trouble a child might be; 3)lack of money; 4)baby is unwanted; 5)baby has a perceived birth defect; 6)incest; 7)rape; etc…

In the cases of incest and rape, the child was totally innocent of the crime that initiated his/her life. So let’s “kill the baby to pay for the heinous crime”. Only convoluted thinking can rationalize that excuse. That same type of thinking believes that partial-birth abortion is actually an “emergency medical procedure.” It’s like they never heard of “C” section before. If they simply want to dispose of the baby, it’s not an “emergency medical procedure”.

Many women believe they are pressured into an abortion by desperate circumstances. But what could be so desperate that someone must die for it? What ever happened to the fact that if one does not want to get pregnant and even consider an abortion, she and he do not have to have sex? Too many seem to be slaves to primal urges. And most certainly, the term “pro-abortionist” fits so well, because every “pro-abortionist” wants the option to abort. If they don’t want to abort, they’re likely pro-life.

Abortion is something a woman allows to be done to herself. No one has a gun at her head to do such an act. Their may very well be those who help talk her into such an act, but a judge should decide exactly how ‘coerced’ she was, and who else was complicit in the killing.

“Victim” only applies to one person—the baby. Has anyone ever asked, or figured out exactly how much pain a baby will go through while being put to death? The inability to express that will go horribly unheeded because the baby is unable to speak for itself.

Katherine Lopez(Editor/National Review Online) seems to get caught in the same trap so many do.  The baby is the victim here. Very rarely the woman is. Views such as the woman being the ‘victim’ in an abortion, belittles that life that was snuffed out. A woman can be forgiven for her crime. For the baby, that’s it. It doesn’t get a second chance. Let’s get our priorities straight, or minds will never be changed.

Fly the American flag high and proud...

The School Without a Flag

September 11, 2001. We all remember where we were on that terrible day. We all remember the feelings of confusion, anger, grief, and fear in the days following. The country came together as one to honor and remember those who died that day. In the days following September 11, you could go almost anywhere and see the American flag flying at half staff fist, and then as time went on, flying high and proud.

Fast forward six years, and it’s a total different story. Not only are some people not flying a flag, but they are desecrating it. A story come to mind about a high school that refuses to let it’s students wear clothing with an American flag on it in fear that it might offend someone.

How politically correct is this nation getting when students cannot wear the flag of their own sovereign country? Who are the school officials who dictate such near treasonous acts of anti-patriotism? It is the right of every American to wear the flag proudly if he/she wishes to do so and to ban that right is unconstitutional. It violates our freedom of speech and it limits our patriotic duty to America. In the deep South (Mississippi) where I live it is not uncommon to see confederate flag on a truck, car, t-shirt, bumper sticker, or just about anything else. It is not a matter of it being a racist statement, but a matter of southern heritage and pride. It is also not uncommon to see an American flag most anywhere including school classrooms, churches, and most places public and private. I just do not think a thing like this would happen in Mississippi where most people are patriotic Americans. Of course there are some far left people in Mississippi and all over the deep South just like anywhere else, but they are greatly outnumbered and over powered when it comes to issues of patriotism and flying the American flag high and proud.

Whoever these students are, they should protest that school. In the 1960s when students lost their minds to the liberals who were indoctrinating them, it was not uncommon to see some sort of protest. Usually they made little sense and offered no resolution to the “crisis” the students were facing. Not much has changed since that time. The same people who turned far left during the 1960s liberal revolution still protest and still offer no real solutions to the problems that they protest against.

I do believe that we should start seeing protests similar to that today. However these should be conservative God fearing students who are protesting the indoctrination centers across America and telling these public school officials to take a long walk off of a short peer. These students should fight to keep their freedom to be patriotic and wear the symbol of our nation to school - especially on September 11.

I urge everyone to get a flag and fly it high and fly it proud. This is America. There is no need to worry about offending someone when we display our flag. We should be proud to display it.  If my flying the America flag offends someone, then that’s too bad. Buy a time machine and take the issue up with the founding fathers who gave me that right through the U.S. Constitution.  As Michael Savage once said, “ America is the greatest country on earth. That’s why everyone is trying to get in and no one is trying to get out.” Mr. Savage was right.

Race Card...

The “Race Card” in an Unexpected Place

To date, the real “Race Card” has not been played. But because this one is bona fide, it can alter the upcoming presidential election.  So many race cards are phony, and ooze of past pressure to keep Blacks in one party. But few Blacks talk about this one. It’s authentically a race card. And, it makes a huge difference in elections. Have you heard any race card used with “abortion”?

Since the Roe vs. Wade decision(1973), black women have had 15 million abortions. Of all abortions, 37% are performed on Black women, even though they make up only 12% of the population. More than 400,000 black babies were killed by abortion last year alone. The abortion rate for Blacks is 3x that of Whites, and 60% of Blacks that do become pregnant, will have an abortion(White/LifeNews).

Per Steven Ertelt(LifeNews), “…the niece of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., says the real quiet storm[for Blacks] revolves around the issue of abortion.” That niece, Dr. Alveda King, says that while all Democrat presidential nominees are pro-abortion, Barack O’Bama is ignoring the major problem for Blacks. King also states that if MLKJr. was alive today, he’d be marching right along side those in ‘pro-life’ marches. The writer was there with Dr. King when she made the previous statement on the Supreme Court steps. “The great irony” she said, “is that abortion has done what the Klan only dreamed of.”

Senator Obama talks about the “quiet riots” emanating from the Black community, but he doesn’t know from where it comes. Per Ertelt, “Seventeen million black babies have been killed by abortion, and the cries of those children, their mothers, and their families are what Senator Obama is hearing.” All told, Dr. King says roughly one quarter of the Black population is missing due to the genocide of abortion.

Day Gardner(President/National Black Pro-Life Union), during Black History Month(2/07) said, “Abortion has become the #1 killer of black people in this country—killing more African Americans than accidents, heart disease, strokes, crimes, HIV/AIDS and all other deaths…COMBINED!  If we stand up to this horrific practice…we shall overcome this, too.”

From one poll(August 04/Pace University) 54% of all Americans said they are pro-life, while 44% said they supported legal abortion. But Black voters took a pro-life position by a larger 59 to 42% margin. 

But what millions don’t seem to realize, are several crucial facts. 1)The largest abortion practitioner in the US is Planned Parenthood(“PP”). 2)Abortion facilities of “PP” are concentrated in poor areas where the Black population is easily targeted. 3)Margaret Sanger, who founded “PP”(1948), had as her goal the control and subjugation of the poor ethnic peoples, including Blacks. 4)Sanger actively pursued negative eugenics--the attempt to reduce the propagation of those considered unfit. 5)After founding “PP”, Sanger began the work of legalizing abortion and spreading birth control throughout the world. 6)Since 1948, a drastic program on population control has been in place, yet world population growth is scheduled to start to decline in 2020(www.worldonline).

From the above, everyone should be able to “connect the dots”. Information from Paul Jalsevac(e.g., “The Inherent Racism of Population Control”) is must reading for anyone who doubts these facts. Recently, Dr. Tessa Chelouche(Clait Health Services/ Israel) has recently published an account of the Nazi use of abortion, euthanasia, and sterilization to eliminate groups they deemed ‘inferior stock’. If one reads Hitler’s 1942 policy statement on the application of abortion, it’s chillingly similar to modern “PP”—Sanger’s creation. Sanger also expressed a similar objective about eliminating Blacks in a letter she wrote only months after Hitler’s invasion of Poland.

Many Americans probably remember one of Sanger’s more famous slogans: “more from the fit, less from the unfit”. It’s likely that Dr. Alveda King said it best: “If the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., is to live, our babies must live.”

Bottom line, if more Blacks increased their priority on ‘life’, voted for the party that would stop federal funding of “PP”, they would overcome this massive discrimination. A highly successful 2004 Ohio campaign that focused on young Blacks and abortion, gave Bush 17% of the Black vote. It’s good to wonder what 30% of the Black vote going for the ‘pro-life’ candidate would do. One thing for sure, more lives would be saved.

The Price of Friendship

Friendship is a true gift, whether it’s between kindergartners on the playground or countries in the midst of political turmoil.  Alliances between nations can be seen as friendship taken to the international level. 

Given this fact, it should be quite apparent that Israel and the U.S. are friends in geopolitical terms.  Despite any policy differences we might have, support for Israel is a natural outgrowth of American interests in the Middle East. 

Surely, there are times when the Israeli government may make mistakes, as any 21st century government does.  But are Israel’s sins deserving of The Israel Lobby, a book which, according to a description on Amazon.com, is based on an article which challenged “what had been a taboo issue in America:  the impact of the Israel lobby on U.S. foreign policy”? 

In this highly controversial book, authors John J. Mearsheimer of the University of Chicago and Stephen M. Walt of Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government make the case that U.S. support of Israel is not entirely explainable in terms of strategic or moral interests.  The authors argue that the Israel lobby promotes policies that are actually not in the best interests of either America or Israel. 

New insights into old relationships—especially relationships between nations—are to be welcomed.  In fact, dialogue and dissent are important components of the American democratic tradition.  There should be no unwritten commandment in the publishing world that says “Thou shalt not criticize Israel.” But it would appear that The Israel Lobby goes beyond valid criticism, castigating without cause American supporters of Israel.  In the world of The Israel Lobby, figures such as Richard Perle are seen as traitors. 

Such verbal attacks are counter-productive and contrary to the spirit of respectful American debate.  Unfortunately, they can also be seized upon by anti-Semites who want to see Israel not simply humbled, but destroyed.  Mearsheimer and Walt do not question Israel’s right to exist as a nation, but their work may fuel the fire of anti-Semitic feelings, not only in this nation, but abroad as well. 

In this age where marital status is often changed more than college majors, loyalty may seem old-fashioned, but it actually should be celebrated, especially between countries with common interests. 

Mearsheimer has stated, “What we really need to make peace between the Israelis and Palestinians is for the United States to act even-handedly.  The United States needs to be even-handed and put pressure on both sides.” Such a statement may sound reasonable enough, but it is an inadequate response to zealots who would like nothing better than to see Israel erased from the world map. 

Sometimes, vociferous criticism of a country’s foreign policies by members of the Ivory Tower is actually a sign that that nation is doing something right.  The Israel Lobby may be proof positive that supporters of Israel are following the correct path.

“Two Americas” only exist with Morals

Taking a quote from Democratic 2008 presidential candidate John Edwards, one can say that “Two Americas” does actually exist. But unlike what Edwards continues to push, money is not the dividing enemy—it is morals. But the Democrats won’t say that, because it takes too much wind from their sails.

Edwards still says that America is divided economically. In a free market system, there will always be the haves, and the have-nots. By your ideas and willingness to work, you can make or break yourself. In a system that is built from entrepreneurship, one’s existence is based on his/her abilities. Eighty percent of all American millionaires have gotten there on their own. They have not married, nor been born into their wealth.

But the separation that currently exists is almost exclusive to morals. It seems to define thoughts, actions, and unfortunately your political party. All the recent presidential elections have been so close, that in a recent election the schism was only decided by an electoral vote majority.

Even the late Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan(D) stated that the moral division in America was “defining deviancy down” because “when society tolerates deviance, it propagates deviance.” Moynihan specifically mentioned single motherhood, which used to be taboo, but reached a rate at which we decided to recognize it as normal and legitimate. Ben Shapiro(syndicated columnist) said “When that happened, it skyrocketed.” Now, 40% of children born in the US are born out of wedlock.

It seems the rise in homosexuality, single motherhood, pornography, and abortion has been dramatic. As Shapiro said, “Common sense used to tell us these things were bad, but common sense is dying.” Unfortunately, most social liberals don’t pretend to know right from wrong, or even to care. They simply claim to have a right to act as they please as long as nobody else gets physically harmed. This seems to define ‘phantom right’ perfectly.

On the other hand, most conservatives grasp that rights are granted to us by our Creator, to enhance human existence. But now, we’ve got one party fiercely dedicated to the most radical stances on abortion, homosexual activism, and their own interpretation of marriage. Even worse, they don’t seem to understand the interrelationship between the social and economic issues. This party seems to have most of the mainstream media in their corner. They typically define issues in a way that makes the opposition seem mean, inflexible, and even evil.

We need to focus on and discuss moral issues, even during the ongoing struggle against terrorism(Robert Knight/ Director-Culture and Media Institute/ parent organization of Cybercast News). In an incredible juxtaposition, one realizes that the radical part of Islam is willing to sacrifice his life, and others, to douse the hedonistic activities espoused by the side of America that allows much of this immorality to exist(Dinesh DiSouza/TownHall). But astoundingly, the conservative side is what stops the radical Islam part from succeeding, while the liberal side of America wants to stop the war against terrorism and allow radical Islam free hand.

America, the strongest nation in the world to date, looks to be headed for a sure meltdown. The country that has allowed the most freedom to its citizens will have to face a much divided electorate because of the freedoms allowed. The saving grace may be the 50% of America that doesn’t vote. But that is surely no guarantee against total anarchy. 

The sides have already been drawn. The issues have been decided. The real question is which side will go outside of the law to get what they want, if it’s not obtained by normal means. Unfortunately, that is likely already known.
