Iran’s malignant Islamist revolution

Under the noses of allies fighting to impose peace on Iraq, Iran has built up its religious, military, and political infrastructure in that wartorn county. Its Revolutionary Guard – the same force it deployed to export its Islamist revolution to Lebanon – has thoroughly infiltrated the key positions of power. Hundreds of Iranian mullahs and businessmen have established important footholds in the Iraqi religious and commercial communities.

Intelligence experts say Iran is preparing to use Iraq as a deterrent against an attack by the United States or Israel on its nuclear facilities. Iranian agents have established a huge terrorist infrastructure in Iraq, gathering intelligence on coalition forces, stockpiling weapons, smuggling arms and fellow agents across the common border, and recruiting fighters. One estimate is that the Revolutionary Guard has trained – and armed – some 40,000 Iraqis, who are primed to oppose a Sunni attempt to regain power.

Iranian-made explosive charges that can penetrate the strongest armor are used daily to kill coalition troops – just as they were used last year by Iran’s Hizbullah proxy against Israeli armor in Lebanon. US officials have told ABC News that they have intercepted shipments of the deadly new bombs at the Iran-Iraq border.

Teheran is thus poised between unleashing untold chaos in Iraq in response to a US or Israeli attack or continuing its steady, mounting subversion of Iraqi society in order to firmly establish Shi’ite rule.

With regard to attacking the United States, the 9/11 Commission Report makes clear how the extremist regime in Teheran aided al-Qaida. It notes (pages 240-241) that the Republican Guard helped several of Osama bin Laden’s September 11th hijackers cross into Iran from Afghanistan. In a most sinister link to Iran’s long line of terrorism, the report notes that top Iranian terrorist Imad Mugniyah personally escorted bin Laden’s attackers to Teheran. Mugniyah masterminded the suicide bombing of the US Embassy and Marine barracks in Beirut in October 1983, in which 241 American servicemen were murdered.

Hardly a week goes by without another revelation about Iran’s support for the ongoing intifada against Israel, whose existence the ayatollahs oppose. Israel’s government has identified Iran as the creator of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, which it supports with money, arms, and training.

Iran supports global jihad with impunity and its open pursuit of a nuclear capability has been met mainly with talk. The United States recently reversed a three-decade-old policy against talking with Iran, on the grounds it is a terrorist state. Faced with Iran’s stonewalling on its “right” to manufacture the fuel for nuclear weapons, President George W. Bush was apparently persuaded by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice that opening negotiations with Teheran would be the “prudent” thing to do.

Somehow it has become acceptable to talk with the country that has been murdering Americans through its terrorist proxies, whose arms and money flow to Islamist groups spreading terror like a malignant cancer throughout the world, and whose leader repeatedly threatens to “wipe Israel off the map.”

Set aside, for the moment, how a nuclear-emboldened Iran might act toward Israel and just think how many suitcase nukes Teheran might be able to detonate around the world. Its Islamofascists have already struck in Afghanistan, Iraq, Israel, Madrid, London, New York, and elsewhere.

According to Rice, President Bush “wants a positive relationship between the American people and the people of Iran” on education, culture, sports, trade, and investment. “People to people” sounds so warm and cuddly, except that one people lives in a democracy and the other under a fundamentalist dictatorship that sentences writers it doesn’t like to death.

There is a direct line connecting Hitler’s Munich of 1938 with Arafat’s Munich of 1972 and Ahmadinejad’s Teheran of 2007. It is self-destructive folly for the West to think that appeasing an Islamofascist psychopath will not embolden him to extort more rewards for terrorism.

The Fear of Abstinence

People fear the word “abstinence”. It seems to raise more flags than giving pure sex to those newly married. The ‘left’ seems to be attacking abstinence programs at will. They seem to believe we are slaves to our sexual needs, and what is really needed is a ‘band-aid’ approach to an act that will happen no matter what.

It’s difficult to understand the mentality that would keep humans down to the subhuman level of animals, that says you need to act on basic instincts, that teens have to protect themselves because they are going to have sex anyway, and that humans might have a soul and think for themselves but are hopelessly powerless against their basic instincts.

Zogby found that 83% of parents think it is important for their child to wait until marriage for sex and 78% felt that sex education should place a greater emphasis on abstinence education rather than on contraception. 66% of parents think that the importance of the “wait to have sex” message is lost when programs encourage the use of contraception.

Per Michael Craven(LifeNews), the ‘claim’ that abstinence education has failed is totally false. It’s obvious, when the claim only cites four programs out of more than 900 currently in place. Even the authors of those 4 studies acknowledge that “Nationally, rates of teen sexual activity have declined over the past 15 years.” Abstinence education actually began in the early 1990’s. Studies through the CDC(Centers for Disease Control) show the rate of teen pregnancy has dropped ~35% from 1990-2002, and acceleration of the decline of teen pregnancy since 2002. The Journal of Adolescent and Family Heath has a study showing a 66% decrease in teen pregnancy due to teens choosing abstinence, and the CDC shows a 53% drop during the same time.

The Journal of Research on Adolescents from a recent survey on 1,052 inner-city adolescents, show abstinent students have a stronger academic profile, while those who engage in sexual experimentation are more likely to exhibit academic and behavioral pathologies, earn low grades, drop out of high school, and experiment with drug and alcohol use.

But finally, the largest study of teen sex education by Dr. Stan Weed(Institute for Research and Evaluation) followed the behavior of over 400,000 adolescents in 30 states for 15 years. Weed says, “Within the US, sexual activity rates have been going down among teenagers for about the last 12 or 13 years, and that coincides with when the abstinence education started…However, pregnancy, abortion, and out-of-wedlock births have been rising for the older age group, between 19-25, a group that has not been targeted by abstinence programs.” But researchers also found that it was crucial to re-educate adolescents about abstinence each successive year.

It’s interesting to see CDC reports that teen sexual activity has dropped, teen birth rates are down(National Vital Statistics Report/ 25% since 1994), and the National Center for Heath Statistics show 50% fewer teen abortions from 1988 to 2003.

But if we look at previous trends, during the 30-year reign of condom-based sex education, teen sexual activity increased, teen births dramatically increased and teen abortions were going up. Many teens seem to be abstaining from sex during the last 13 years, when abstinence education was taught. Along with decreased sexual activity, teens are having fewer abortions. The question is, “How many Einstein’s, or John Paul II’s are alive today because of those fewer abortions?” Amazingly, the Concerned Women of America, as well as several other watchdog groups, revealed that for every $12 spent on condom-based programs, only $1 is spent on abstinence programs.

In summation---parents overwhelmingly support abstinence, federal funding has overwhelmingly been in support of condom-based programs; teen sexual activity, teen births, and teen abortions increased during emphasis on condom-based programs, but later decreased with an emphasis on abstinence; numerous evaluations have verified abstinence results; differences in groups(younger) that get abstinence training, show increased pregnancy, abortion, and out of wedlock births for groups that don’t; and teen pregnancy, STD’s, and emotional trauma seem to occur more often with those who don’t get abstinence training.

It seems a clear picture has formed. The next step seems obvious. Do we want to be slaves to our sexual desires? Haven’t humans evolved beyond slavery? Why is one party pushing a miserably failing condom-based sex education and continues to feed the monster?

As founder and spokesperson of a local ministry called Stand For Truth, I am appalled at the recent decision of Southwest Airlines to go to war with the American people and with Bible believing Christians by supporting the growing homosexual agenda.

According to several sources, Southwest Airlines has not been ashamed of actions supporting a gay pride event in the nation’s capitol. The founding Fathers of America would be completely ashamed. It is truly sad when corporate America leads the nation astray from the very God who allowed the USA to be formed. The Bible is very clear about the sin of homosexuality and about what happens to nations who go away from God like America is going.

Already, Ford Motor Company ( www.boycottford.com ) has lost sales because of poorly thought out business decisions to follow “tolerant” liberal and often secular society into the depths of sexual sin. It’s not enough that Hollywood corrupts American children, but now the corruption and indoctrination is actually sponsored by corporate America.

I ask you to sincerely consider the social and business decision that you have made in contributing to society’s ills of homosexuality and the agenda of child indoctrination thereof.  Numerous advocacy groups including the infamous ACLU is attempting to drive out all forces of good from America and replaced those good, Biblically placed social principles with immoral, indecent, corrupt, and evil policies that will lead to utter ruin and destruction of the America that the founding fathers created. Homosexuality is a choice, not an inherited trait as the so called “scientific” community labels it. God created man in His own image (see Genesis) and by that we know that he created a woman for Adam.

So many times today we see radicals left over from the Vietnam era trying to install moral relativism into a society that rejects evil and accepts the fact that there is an absolute right and an absolute wrong and that the Bible is the moral basis of this authority. As a fellow believer, I can testify that the Bible is the only book that is completely inerrant in structure and content and is absolutely the divine, infallible, inspired Holy word of God the father who spoke the universe into existence.

I am a fellow financial contributor, prayer supporter, and member of numerous organizations such as the Family Research Council, American Family Association, Liberty Counsel, Alliance Defense Fund, Concerned Women for America, Answers in Genesis, American Center for Law and Justice, Mission America, Americans for Truth, Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, Gideons International, International Mission Board SBC, Media Research Center, Move America Forward, Jerusalem Prayer Team, and numerous others including even the National Rifle Association.

As a supporter and fellow member of these organizations, I strive to tell my own website members of the atrocities happening in America today and encourage them to speak out against them. This past Wednesday night I spoke to a church group about the dangers that the ACLU, the homosexual rights lobby, and the evolutionist movement are causing to American schoolchildren. I urged the church members to get involved, support the previous mentioned organizations, call their elected representatives, and ultimately more than anything, to take a stand and say “NO” to these left wing agendas like the one that Southwest Airlines has adopted.

I urge Southwest Airlines to discontinue the public sponsorship and support of the dangerous homosexual movement in America.  I urge Southwest Airlines to keep in mind that while our elected officials are too stubborn to listen to the people who gave them a job in Washington, that we can still vote using our wallets which sometimes proves to be better anyway.

Please consider changing you social policies towards the dangerous trends of modern European influenced social policies such as supporting the international homosexual indoctrination agenda. Corporate America has no place in making social policies because the Bible has already made clear what those policies should be and no one in the Christian community has any intention, no matter what the circumstance, of backing away from those God inspired principles now or ever.  I urge you to please refrain from future support of dangerous social events such as the Capitol Pride Event and similar festivities. On behalf of the real church and most conservative Americans, I speak to you sincerely and honestly in this matter being fearful of my country’s future. Thank you!

Contact your Congressman and tell him to oppose the State and Foreign Operations Appropriations Bill.

Rep. Nita Lowey (D-NY-FRCA 0%), Chairman of the State and Foreign Operations Appropriations Subcommittee, has introduced language that passed through committee which jettisons the Mexico City Policy. Introduced by President Reagan, (removed by President Clinton and reinstated by President Bush) the Mexico City Policy prohibits federal funds from going to non-governmental organizations which promote or practice abortions as a means of family planning. Eliminating this policy however, allows liberals to take your taxpayer dollars and use it to promote and practice abortions in countries around the world.

Having passed through committee, the bill now moves to the floor of the House where it will face a vote next week. Please contact your representative and urge them to protect the Mexico City Policy and prohibit the use of your tax dollars to fund the unconscionable act of abortion.

Please call your congressman and ask that the Mexico City Policy be protected in the State and Foreign Operations Appropriations Bill. This way your tax dollars will be protected from going to promoting and practicing abortions world wide.

To the hardworking American citizens, your country is about to be swept from underneath you. Our sovereignty is unraveling. I say this because of the various agreements to privatize and lease our nation’s interstates and highways to foreign companies. And without Congressional approval or approval of the people. This is happening across the country as well. The Trans Texas Corridor is planned to be under the control of Spain’s Cintra Concessions de Infraestructuras de Transporte. And locally in Tennessee, a proposed toll road to be installed near Knoxville caught my attention. I wonder what’s to become of that highway project. As it is implemented, will it be sold to foreign companies?

Our nation’s sovereignty is being erased and most Americans know nothing about it. This reeks of an effort by some politicians to sneak in and implement the Superhighway, which is connected with the North American Union effort.

On top of that, President Bush has quietly given himself more powers to act without congressional approval during emergencies. This bypasses states’ rights to handle their own business. He is also reconsidering the UN’s controversial Law of the Sea Treaty, which would further undermine US sovereignty.

While Americans remain quiet, politicians and the elite are going about their way to implement these changes. Americans need to stop putting so much faith in their leaders and start scrutinizing and watching what is going on, not only in D.C., but in their local communities. Are our leaders measuring up? Are they doing what they said they would do when they campaigned for office?

President Bush promised while campaigning in 2000 that he would strengthen America’s military, but our troops are having trouble getting the armor they need. They are not receiving the after-care they deserve as they come back from the war zone. Our soldiers should be the main focus of our care and concern as they go to ensure we KEEP our sovereignty and freedom. They deserve the best!

Government has become so much bigger (Bush promised a smaller government as well) and certainly not more effective. Politicians have sold out to greed and power… on both sides.

After a historic and devastating attack on our country on 9-11-01, we continue to have problematic borders. Our leaders in Washington want to pander to the rising illegal immigrant population in America (the Hispanic population is the fastest growing among minorities and make up the largest group of minorities in America) because they feel that workers are needed for various jobs in America that American citizens won’t do.

President Bush’s amnesty bill, or the S. 1348 Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007, is having a hard time passing. If the American people were for this bill, there wouldn’t be such opposition as there has been against this bill. Last year, a tougher bill never made it to the President’s desk (H.R. 4437). This bill proposed that we get serious and enforce our already existing laws. In reality, Americans want our laws enforced. And H.R. 4437 had strong backing in the House, but the Senate wouldn’t hear of it. Our lawmakers in Washington did not listen to the people, and they aren’t listening now as they propose to push an “amnesty” bill our way.

By President Bush being so lenient on “guest workers” in this country, he’s ignoring our already existing laws in favor of allowing as many “workers” into the US as possible who want to work. Problem is, those entering the US for work are foreigners who choose to come to the US the wrong way, and American citizens have higher priority when it comes to getting work.

I believe securing the borders mean little to certain lawmakers...the possibility of a North American Union looms. Otherwise, something would have been done about our borders by now. Our leaders in Washington, including the President, would have seen the importance of controlling who comes in through our borders after 9-11, and would have seriously tightened the reigns on the borders. Border agents wouldn’t be thrown in prison either for doing their jobs.

Americans face tighter security at major airports across America but our borders are not sealed tight. I see something VERY wrong with that.

Conservatives are upset at the President over the fact that rational logic isn’t being used in decision making these days. Certain Republicans who are behind this bill are seeing it from a TOTALLY different perspective than their constituents. Shouldn’t we, as American citizens, put those in office who will listen to us? If they won’t listen, bombard their offices with your thoughts. We are not to sit back on the sidelines and believe that those we send to Washington will automatically do what their constituents want and do what’s best for the American people.

There is hope however. Two lawmakers in Washington are throwing the dangers relating to the bill out there for scrutiny by the public. Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX) and Peter King (R-NY) broke down the amnesty bill, pinpointing what exactly would happen should it pass

Such startling points made by the Representatives in the bill (S. 1348) include granting illegals (under “Z” visa status) the chance to draw from Social Security and other benefits and freebies. They would be given shoddy background checks; any illegal immigrant who applies for the probationary status can wait only 24 hours for the Federal Government to do a background check on them and grant them legitimacy. In some cases, when an American citizen applies for a job, it takes longer than 24 hours to do a background check!

These illegal immigrants can remain on “Z” status for up to 5 years!

This bill will give illegal immigrants (lawmakers conveniently leave out the word “illegal") the same rights that generations of our forefathers fought for as Americans.

S. 1348 also opens up the door for terrorists to take advantage of the ability to remain on American soil. If background checks are going to be lax, then what’s to stop a terrorist from plotting and carrying out terror attacks on Americans?

I wanted to highlight the similarities between the illegal immigration problems of our country, the “amnesty” bill in the Senate, and the North American Union plans because they all tie in together. They are all being implemented in a stealth manner.

Some of our leaders in Washington believe that we are all “one happy village” and that people who are also here illegally deserve all the perks of being American, when they are in fact, citizens of another country. Our sovereignty as a nation takes a backseat to them. Will you as an American citizen, tolerate that? I hope not.

An alarming statistic splashed across the Internet the other day—violent crime is on the rise in the U.S. for the second straight year.

The stats show that homicides increased in eight of the country’s largest cities: Chicago, Houston, Las Vegas, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Antonio, and San Diego. As a result, the murder rate in cities with populations of more than one million jumped 6.7 percent.
The FBI’s Assistant Director, Ken Kaiser, was quoted by the Associated Press as saying, “Am I happy with the increase in violent crime? Absolutely not. I’d have to be a fool to say I was. But I would tell you I think (police) are working very hard out there.”

In addition to the rise in the murder rate, the robbery rate jumped six percent. Burglaries are up, too.

The issue then, is not whether crime is getting worse, but why? And what can be done to reduce criminal activity around the nation?

It’s interesting to note that the increase in violent crime was greatest in the West, where illegal immigration is also a major concern. While not every individual who crosses illegally into the U.S. is a potential criminal, it stands to reason that if we secure our borders we’re less likely to be attacked on our streets by illegal immigrants who have no regard for our health, safety, and property.

But solving our illegal immigration problem represents only a single piece of the puzzle. We must also find a way to instill hope in young people who are desperate for a sense of belonging.

Take a look at Indianapolis, where the homicide rate increased by 30 percent. In 2005, the city recorded 108 murders. In 2006, the figure increased to 140. The mayor of Indianapolis attributed the rise in the murder rate, in part, to increased gang activity and youth violence.
This sad state of affairs really shouldn’t surprise us. When kids grow up without fathers around…when they have little supervision…they’ll naturally turn to their peers for support and solidarity. The gang becomes a family—albeit a dangerous, potentially deadly one. When teens see few options…when they literally can’t envision a future for themselves…they develop a “What’s the use?” attitude. They find violent outlets for their anger and we, as a nation, suffer for it.

I fully expect the latest crime statistics to trigger new calls for government spending. Far too many people believe that we can spend ourselves out of our current social and cultural mess. It would be great if we could bring down the crime rate just by throwing money at the matter, but I seriously doubt that can happen. I firmly believe that we could end up pumping millions of dollars into crime prevention programs, and we could still wind up with a mind-boggling murder rate.

The best remedy for what ails our nation is the traditional American family. Until a two-parent family becomes the norm again, I fear that violent crime and gang activity will be our constant companions.

The Commerical Abortion Industry

According to the National Right to Life, there has been 48,589,993 known abortions since 1973 when Roe v. Wade was made law of the land. Since that landmark decision that made murdering unborn infants legal, abortion itself has become a multi million dollar industry backed by numerous groups and even some corporate sponsors.

Not only is it not right for abortions to occur in the first place, but it is certainly not right for the American taxpayer to foot the bill for the murder of an unborn child. Recently, Planned Parenthood has declared that it needs more money - particularly tax payer money to fund their agenda of abortion on demand. Already, Planned Parenthood has gained more than $900 million from the abortion on demand industry. How much more can they need?

Not only is Planned Parenthood all for state funded abortion procedures, but the ACLU is pushing for the very same thing. Now states are really getting into the abortion industry because of these advocacy groups who push their global agenda on others. A Philadelphia, Pennsylvania city council now promotes itself as being for women’s rights by being pro-abortion.

The state of Maine is now being threatened by the Maine Civil Liberties Union (MCLU). Maine, by law, does not sponsor, or fund abortions and thus, the lawsuit. MCLU has threatened to sue Maine because it not offer state funded abortions to poor women. I am not sure who exactly makes up the Maine State Legislature, but they sure don’t have the guts to stand to bullies like the MCLU and others. If they wanted to, Maine legislators could have MCLU arrested, dismantled, and their money seized for interfering in governmental affairs and defrauding the public with distortions meant to win political gains for the MCLU. This lawsuit is nothing more than a bold attempt to gain power and control of the American taxpayer by illegal and fraudulent means, and legislators everywhere should stand up to these bullies and let it be know that tax payers do not fund abortions - not now - not ever!

The World Health Organization sounds like a committed action group that would endure positive results, but the direct opposite if true. The W.H.O. actually helps promote global abortion on demand and so does the UN. The World Health Organization recently met in May and opened by talking about AIDs in Africa which is a legitimate concern. AIDs anywhere is a legitimate concern, but the World Health Organization often overlooks the affects AIDs has in the homosexual community. The answer to this problem by the W.H.O. is to provide sex education and condoms. My friend, this will not only not solve the problem but will actually further the problem. The answer lies in telling the truth as in abstinence education, the gospel message, and by providing solid truthful education about sexual diseases and what causes them. Providing condoms does not solve a disease problem, but advances the problem to a full scale meltdown of morality and social dysfunction. 

Earlier I mentioned the fact that the ACLU is making the case for state funded, or tax payer funded, abortions. Indeed the ACLU is arguing that Medicaid should pay for abortions when the mother’s health, not life, is in jeopardy. In Kansas, Dr. George “The Baby Killer” Tiller has repeatedly used depression in the woman as an excuse to perform an abortion. Fir this very reason, states are not allowing health exceptions when limiting abortion procedures.Medicaid is already overwhelmed by legitimate concerns and if abortions were added to the list, taxes would have to be raised even more to pay for the costs. That’s something we need less of, not more of. Medicaid or an other tax payer funded health association should never pay for morally wrong procedures such as abortion. It is not right for tax payers to pay for atrocities like abortion on demand.

At least some states are considering more strict regulations on the abortion industry if not completely banning the procedure altogether. My own home state of Mississippi is actually the hardest state in the union to obtain an abortion and while it remains so, more regulations are to come. A bill has already been passed that essentially says that if Roe v. Wade were to be overturned, abortion would automatically become illegal in Mississippi. We only have one clinic in the state and many are working on a way to shut it down. All it would take would be one botched abortion, one failed clinic health inspection, one complaint, to shut it down, and once it is shut down, it would be very hard to convince Mississippi legislators to let the abortion clinic back into the state.

Educating the public about abortion alternatives also gives rise to less abortions occurring and more women - particularly young women, knowing the truth about consequences after the abortion. Recently West Virginia abortions have declined 14 % after a Right To Know law was passed. The law basically educates women on the alternatives of abortion such as adoption but also provides information on the dangers and risks of the abortion procedure itself as well as the after effects such as depression, etc.

After discussing the public political and social aspects of abortion, we can also look at the religious aspects of the issue. Pro-choice advocates simply do not see abortion in the same manner that Christians see the issue. For Christians, the issue is simply a decision between life and death. Christians refer to the “fearfully and wonderfully made” verse in Psalms 139:13-16. Not only this but the Bible teaches, in Genesis, that man was created in God’s image. Creation, not evolution, is the key to this, and numerous other issues. We know that the Bible teaches that God created the universe and all that is in it by speaking it into existence and that mankind has a soul, is accountable to God for his/her actions, and is responsible for taking care of this world that He created. Once particular verse come to mind when I think about the abortion issue. I used it in chapter two of my own book, Issues That Matter:America’s Moral Battleground. It reads: The word of the Lord came unto me saying “ Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” (Jeremiah 1:4)

You see God has a plan for every conceived soul and if that conceived soul is destroyed by fellow man through abortion, then God’s plan is interrupted. God never planned for abortion to exist, but because of man’s sin it came to be as it still remains today. One thing is for sure though, Pro-choice advocates can continue to preach about women’s rights and the availability of abortion on demand, but one day when Jesus Christ comes back, this issue will be resolved, abortion will be destroyed, and justice restored to the point as it was before the fall of man at the beginning of creation.

Ford sales down ... Again!

Boycott helps drop Ford sales 6.8% in May

For the 13th month out of the last 15, the boycott of Ford Motor Company by AFA and other pro-family groups has helped cause Ford to lose sales. Sales dropped 6.8% during May when compared with May 2006.

The drop came as sales for GM [up 9.6%], Chrysler [up 4.3%] and Toyota [up 14%] were all increasing.  Of the big four, only Ford showed a loss.

the petition to Alberto Gonzales and the U.S. Justice Dept.  It is about time
the ACLU be investigated for its ties to pornography and this most recent story
(see below) is the catalyst for the federal government to get to the bottom of
this organization and rein it in.

Michael Moore: A Criminal Profile

There is little doubt that Michael Moore is one of the most public anti-American propagandists of modern times. Without fail, his lengthy lists of so called documentary works have all encompassed his varying visions of the shortcomings of the United States. What many Americans take issue with Moore, is the deceptive means by which he collects his information and the even more deceptive way he portrays this information to the public. When lamenting about Moore’s last work Fahrenheit 9/11 9/11, Christopher Hitchens would say, “To describe this film as dishonest and demagogic would be to promote those terms to the level of respectability. To describe this film as a piece of crap would be to run the risk of a discourse that would never again rise above the excremental…Fahrenheit 9/11 is a sinister exercise in moral frivolity, crudely disguised as an exercise in seriousness. It is also a spectacle of abject political cowardice masking itself as a demonstration of “dissenting” bravery” (Hitchens, 2004, 3).  The Hitchens observation is important to the profiling of Moore for two reasons. First, it encapsulates a general feeling of many Americans, and more importantly, it shows that even the most godless among us realize that there is something fundamentally wrong with Michael Moore. Dave Kopel, of the Independence Institute, who appears in the Michael Moore rebuttal film Fahrenhype 9/11 9/11, has chronicled fifty- nine falsehoods within Moore’s documentary.
Hitchens and countless others have been able to touch upon the modus operandi of Moore which includes an overabundance of lies and trickery. Examples of trickery include ambushing politicians trying to make their way into government buildings, and the lowly deception in Bowling for Columbine of pretending to be a second amendment advocate to get into Charlton Hesston’s home to verbally attack the aged actor for his kindness.  Moore has used his abilities in “cut and paste” respondent editing to make a mockery of the truth and cater to the far left anti-American crowd. It should also be mentioned that he has made a fortune in the process. However, realizing that Michael Moore is an America hater who lies, is only observing the symptoms of what truly makes the man what he is. To have an adequate profile of Moore, a person must understand why he does what he does. First, it must be understood that Moore is not a dupe or lackey. To compare Moore with dim-witted pawns of the Democratic Party, such as Cindy Sheehan, is to make a serious under-estimation of Moore’s intelligence. For everything Moore is, he is not stupid. While this may sound like a compliment, it’s far from it. Moore’s full mental capabilities exempt himself from the forgiveness that some will extend to the Sheehan types of the world.  While it is no doubt true that Moore benefits from the socialist movement within the Democratic Party, he is also not a gun for hire. Moore and the Democratic left simply have similar aims at the moment and this is a point of confusion for many people. When we see Michael Moore sitting in the place of distinction with Jimmy Carter at the 2004 Democratic convention, we are not seeing Michael Moore the faithful soldier of the Democratic Party, what we are really seeing is Michael Moore representing Michael Moore Inc.  It is here that we can observe the beginnings of the true sociopathic nature of Moore.
What’s confusing to most people is that when we think of the sociopath, visions of stone cold killers like Ted Bundy come to mind, not plump loud mouths from Michigan. However, it is the nature of the sociopath that makes Moore a perfect Goebbels style propagandist. The sociopath is void of a standard conscience and is not limited in personal action due to feelings of guilt. If this individual can attain what he/she wants, the means to that end have no relevance. Being seen as a hypocrite or dishonest carries no weight past what formal sanctions can bring. When Michael Moore attacks d*** Cheney for his affiliation in Haliburtan, while owning stock himself, there are no pangs of guilt or remorse, only frustration at being exposed. Moore, as a sociopath, is free to attack the war effort as well as the survival of the country for his own personal gain with impunity. Sociopaths are highly functional, while they do not feel bound to general moral codes, they do realize that to stay free in society, to continue the quest for their personal gratification, they must appear to conform to societal norms. Sociopaths are often identified by the public by their personal indulgences that are so deviant from societal norms they require incarceration or elimination. For instance, Ted Bundy was highly functional and blended well in the society until his desire to destroy the flesh eventually identified himself as a sociopath. In contrast to Ted Bundy, Moore’s personal indulgence is simply to line his pockets by undermining the country. While the damage Moore brings to the U.S.  in lowering national morale, reinforcing the warped conceptions of America by socialist countries around the world, and encouraging America’s enemies, may in the long run cause a loss of life greater than Bundy’s, its immediate effects are less obvious. The point that people should be brought to understand is that if the fates had placed Moore in a communist country, he would most likely be undermining that system for his personal gain by any means he could muster. Ironic isn’t it? There is no doubt that the public will receive another large dose of the same old same old with Moore’s new labor of love, Sicko. However, as Moore promotes Cuba’s communistic medical program, people should be armed with the knowledge that what they are seeing is not the work of a naïve communist convert but the cold calculations of a sociopathic mind.
