In the boat...
Everything I need to know about life, I learned from Noah’s Ark...
One: Don’t miss the boat.
Two: Remember that we are all in the same boat.
Three: Plan ahead. It wasn’t raining when Noah built the Ark.
Four: Stay fit. When you’re 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
Five: Don’t listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
Six: Build your future on high ground.
Seven : For safety sake, travel in pairs.
Eight: Speed isn’t always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
Nine: When you’re stressed, float a while.
Ten: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals. Eleven: No matter the storm, there’s always a rainbow waiting.

Do you Know God?
Take a look at ISSUES THAT MATTER by ROB HOOD:
Mississippi author and Christian explain the facts about the culture war going on in America from Biblical Christian stand point.
Book Description :
There is a growing culture war in today’s society. On one side, people believe in abortion as the right to choose, that the universe is here by accident, and that homosexuality is okay. They believe that Jesus was only a prophet or a good man, but on the other side, the direct opposite beliefs are being made known. In this book, the Mississippi author gives a traditional biblical point of view into what is wrong with the most fought about controversial moral and social issues facing America today.

The Plan of Salvation
If you died tonight where would you go? Would you go to heaven? There is a way to be sure that you will be in Heaven. It’s God’s plan of salvation. It is a free gift from God and all you have to do is receive it:
God loves you and wants you to have eternal life. (John 3:16, 10:10)
You are a sinner in need of forgiveness. You are separated from God and will face his judgment. (Romans 3:23, 6:23, Hebrews 9:27)
God wants to forgive you and has shown His love for you by sending His son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for your sins. He paid our sin debt with His blood. (Romans 5:8, 1 Peter 3:18)
To be forgiven, you must repent and turn away from your sins. (Luke 13:5, Ephesians 2:8-9)
You must place your faith in Jesus. He is the ONLY way to receive forgiveness and inherit eternal life. (Acts 20:21, John 14:6)
You can receive Jesus through prayer. (Revelation 3:20, Romans 10:9-19)
It could be a simple prayer similar to this:
Dear Heavenly Father, I know I am a sinner and have displeased you in many ways. I believe you died on the cross to save me from my sins and were resurrected on the third day so that I may have eternal life. Will you please forgive me for my sins? I want to turn from my sins and ask you to come into my life as my Lord and personal Savior. From now on I will live a life pleasing to you. Thank you for your grace, love, and forgiveness. Amen!
If you have made this decision, go to church Sunday and make a public profession of faith in Christ and follow the Lord in believer’s baptism and church membership.
This is the most important decision you’ll ever make. It will decide where you will spend eternity. No one knows if they will be here tomorrow. If Jesus comes back tonight or if something happens to you and you die today and you have not trusted Jesus, it will be too late! It’s very important that you trust Him NOW because you may never get another chance. Tomorrow may never come!

Socialism... a Great dissapointment!
Socialism Corrupts Human Nature
By Thomas E. Brewton
The welfare-state brings out the worst in people, making society into a
selfish, every-man-for-himself scramble to get “entitlements.” As government
intervention depresses incomes toward equality, economic production declines,
and people become equally poor.
-------------------
Many readers have expressed sentiments from outrage to distress at my
characterization of liberal Republicans and Democrats as advocates of fascist
corporatism. Fascism, of course, is simply a nationalistic version of
socialism, as opposed to the world-government impulse of the Socialist
International reflected in utopian boondoggles like the UN.
Readers’ unhappiness is the result of ignorance which is not their fault, but
the fault of our socialistic, progressive doctrines of education introduced
early in the 20th century and placed firmly in the saddle in the 1960s. Most
people, having no historical perspective on economic and political affairs,
assume that what is has always been so, because that is all they have been
told.
No one having even a minor acquaintance with the history of the 20th century
can deny that the role of Federal and state governments changed radically (in
the literal and political senses) in the 1930s. Before the New Deal, however
much they favored labor unions and cooperatives, along with city and state
government planning, not even the Progressives believed that the Federal
government could manage the entire economy as if it were a private
corporation. Since the time of President Franklin Roosevelt, generations of
Americans have come to the mindless faith that The Great Father in the White
House is responsible personally for every up and down in the economy.
Elsewhere, I wrote that the basic dividing line between sociopolitical outlooks
in the Western world is regulation and control vs. limits and balances,
collectivism vs. individualism. This can be understood more easily if one
looks at the underlying conceptions of human nature.
In the Western world, two views of human nature are dominant.
One is the classical economic understanding described by Adam Smith in his 1776
“Wealth of Nations,” in which people as a whole, at least those with any common
sense, look for ways to improve their own and their families’ economic well-
being. Smith’s keen observations of economic activity in his time, and
historically, led him to the view that such activity is spontaneous and part of
the natural order, to the extent not impeded by government intervention.
From this understanding comes the idea of the law of supply and demand: when
goods desired by people are in short supply, prices rise, and producers are led
to increase production of the desired articles, thereby pushing market prices
down toward their former level. This insight led him to his celebrated
“invisible hand” idea that, while each individual is motivated by his personal
interests, those motivations lead people to become more productive and thrifty,
thereby increasing the aggregate well-being of society. While, at any given
time, some people are suffering hardship from economic conditions, a free
market offers most of them the opportunity to improve their status in the
future by dint of hard work and frugality. And human nature leads most of them
to take advantage of their opportunities.
None of this is to say that individuals and religious groups ought not aid the
poor, elderly, and disabled. Smith was first and foremost a moral philosopher
who elevated individuals’ sympathy and empathy for their fellows to the
pinnacle of morality.
This conception of human nature made England, then the United States, the
greatest economic powers in world history while producing unprecedented
improvements in standards of living for people in all income levels.
The other conception of human nature, in contrast to Adam Smith’s pragmatic
analysis of actually observed conditions, is the abstract, theoretical, French,
socialistic conception espoused by American liberals (our sect of the socialist
religion).
In this theory, people are by nature altruistic, freely contributing to the
best of their abilities, while selflessly consuming as little as possible,
provided they do not live in a market-oriented economy that induces greed.
The effect of the liberal socialist theory, everywhere it has been implemented,
has been to reduce the overall wealth of the nation employing it, tending to
make everybody equally poor. The reason for the detrimental effect of
socialist theory was described by Alexis de Tocqueville in the 1850s after
observing the effect of half a century of socialism in his native France: in
the welfare-state, people’s motivation is corrupted to envy of those with more
than themselves, which leads them to clamor for government confiscation of
property owned by people with higher incomes.
People concerned primarily with getting their entitlements take to the streets
in organized demonstrations, riots, looting and property destruction, as we are
witnessing in the case French students and labor unions demanding regulations
assuring unaccountable jobs-for-life security.
The Soviet Union, based squarely upon this conception of human nature, reduced
people to standing in lines for hours for basic needs, often finding nothing
left when they reached the head of the line. The artificiality and cruel
destructiveness of liberals’ theory of human nature led to the complete
collapse of the Soviet Union, shortly after President Johnson’s Great Society
entitlements had all but destroyed American society.
Socialist nations like France and Germany, historically the most powerful in
Continental Western Europe, are slowly sinking under the weight of their
increasingly unsustainable promises to make welfare payments exceeding their
economies’ productive capacities. The United States is unfortunately following
in their footsteps.

MESSAGE...
SBC Executive Committee Member, Roger Moran, and Dr. Bruce Shortt Offer
Resolution For SBC Annual Meeting Urging Action on Dr. Albert Mohler’s Call for
an Exit Strategy from Public Schools and Urging that Particular Attention be
Given to Needs Of Orphans, Single Parents, and the Disadvantaged
Leading SBC Grassroots Activist, Dr. Rick Scarborough, and Dr. Voddie Baucham
Strongly Endorse Resolution
Exodus Mandate/Columbia, SC - At the 2005 SBC Annual Meeting the messengers adopted a resolution urging churches and parents to investigate their public schools to determine, among other things, whether they are endangering children in their care by collaborating with homosexual activists. Dr. Albert Mohler, President of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, weighed in on the controversy stating that “We have no reason to believe that next year will not bring even more urgent concerns related to public education” and declaring that it is time for responsible Southern Baptists to develop an exit strategy from the public schools. http://www.albertmohler.com/commentary_read.php?cdate=2005-06-17
Roger Moran, a member of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Executive Committee
and a leader in the Missouri Baptist Convention, and Dr. Bruce N. Shortt, co-
sponsor of the 2004 and 2005 Christian Education Resolutions and author of The
Harsh Truth About Public Schools, have submitted a resolution for consideration
at the 2006 SBC Annual Meeting urging churches to heed Dr. Mohler’s call to
develop an exit strategy from the public schools that will give particular
attention to the needs of orphans, single parents, and the disadvantaged. The
resolution also urges the agencies of the Southern Baptist Convention to assist
churches as they develop their exit strategies and commends Christians working
in government schools.
Dr. Rick Scarborough, Founder of Vision America, the leading Southern Baptist
grassroots activist, and author of the recently released Liberalism Kills Kids,
strongly endorses the resolution and sees an urgent need for the SBC to plan an
exit strategy: “Public Schools have long ceased to be a positive reinforcer of
traditional values. In fact, they are not even neutral on many crucial issues
which are important to people of faith. Unfortunately, public education has
been hijacked by people who reject Biblical teachings on man’s origin, the
proper role of sex and the acceptability of homosexuality. These are non-
compromising issues for Christians.”
Dr. Scarborough also believes strongly that the messengers at the 2006 Annual
meeting should have an opportunity to vote on the resolution: “Education in the
public sector now aggressively undermines Biblical values. Our children
deserve better and Southern Baptists should be given the opportunity to express
their feelings about this.”
Roger Moran notes that the worldview promoted by the government’s schools is
far from “neutral” and commends Dr. Mohler for his wisdom and courage:
“The last two decades have established beyond doubt that America’s public
school system is the “golden calf” of the religious left. Religious and
secular Left organizations like the Baptist Joint Committee on Public Affairs,
Americans United for Separation of Church and State, People for the American
Way, The Interfaith Alliance, the ACLU and the National Education Association
have created a unified voice in support of the current course of public
education. These far-left organizations understood with absolute clarity that
if their version of “separation of church and state” could be implemented by
the courts, they could universally prevent the views and values of a
conservative Biblical worldview from competing in the public schools with the
secular worldview of America’s religious / political far-left.
But not only are the public schools the golden calf of the religious left, they
have also become their Trojan Horse, playing a major role in infiltrating and
destroying the faith of those we have been commanded to train up in the nurture
and admonition of the Lord. Dr. Al Mohler’s call for responsible Southern
Baptists to develop an exit strategy from the public schools was not only wise,
but courageous, for multitudes of our own people still don’t see the inherent
dangers. The time has come for the debate to begin.”
Dr. Voddie Baucham endorses the resolution because he knows from personal
experience how the government school monopoly fails millions of children every
day: “I know what its like to be a poor kid trapped in underperforming
schools. Being raised by a single mother in the inner city, I had no choice
but to accept the inferior education my schools offered. Not to mention the
drugs, sex, and violence that were all part of the package. The SBC needs to
have a comprehensive plan to create a new system of Baptist education open to
everyone, and that plan needs to take a clear stand on behalf of kids who find
themselves in the same predicament I was in. If we stand together on this we
can be true to article XII of the BF&M and use education as a missional
outreach in Urban America. If we don’t, we will continue to tell poor kids in
failing schools that we don’t care that their future is being stolen from
them.”
Dr. Shortt argues that this is an issue that must be faced squarely: “The
government’s schools haven’t merely failed; they are destroying our children
spiritually and morally. Academically, the public school system is as dead as
Elvis. Unfortunately, many Christian pastors and leaders still try to evade the
cold, hard facts by talking about ‘school reform’ and ‘salt and light.’ Well,
we’ve tried that strategy for forty years and more, and, after trillions of
dollars of reform, anyone who takes a serious look at the consequences of our
government school habit can see that the Church has been hemorrhaging children
for more than a generation and that the public schools are stuck on stupid
morally and academically. If you approve of a school system that is
indoctrinating children with cultural Marxism and dogmatic Darwinism, devoting
increasing time and resources to instructing children in the colorful folkways
of homosexuality, and preparing them for a future as hewers of wood !
and drawers of water, by all means continue talking about ‘reform’ and
children as missionaries. Responsible Christians, however, will plan so that no
child is left behind.”
E. Ray Moore, Jr, USAR Ret CH(Lt.Col.) founder and Director of Exodus
Mandate commented: “The recovery of belief in the authority of Holy
Scripture by the Southern Baptists in recent decades has inevitably led
many of them also to the threshold of discovering K-12 Christian
schooling and home schooling as a Biblical means for the discipling the next
generation of Christian youth. Exodus Mandate hopes and prays that the SBC
continues its long march to the promised land of K-12 Christian education. As
goes the SBC so goes the larger Church in the USA and, as goes the Church, so
goes the nation.”
This year’s SBC Annual Meeting will be held June 13-14 at Greensboro, North
Carolina.

So You want to be a liberal?
Thinking of becoming a liberal? Consider the inconsistency and
irrational thinking needed to embrace the liberal agenda:
*Rising gasoline prices are devastating to working Americans,
but protecting obscure organisms at the bottom of the food chain
is of greater concern. Which is why drilling for oil & adding
refining capacity are unacceptable.
* Large profits are obscenely un-American, except when it comes
to George Soros, Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey and other liberals.
*Undocumented immigrants deserve driver’s licenses to avoid
breaking the law by driving illegally.
*The earning power of the average American worker is in serious
decline; even so, America should grant amnesty to 20,000,000
illegal aliens who will work for lower wages and no benefits.
*Killing the sale of port security to UAE was necessary to
protect home land security, but closing the borders with Mexico
would unfairly “scapegoat” Hispanics.
*Bilingualism is essential in a tolerant, diverse society,
except when it comes to Hispanics who are perfectly justified in
refusing to learn English.
*Conservatives who work to preserve American culture and
tradition are hate mongers. But immigrants from other nations
must be allowed to retain their ‘cultural identity’ at all
costs.
* Execution of a convicted killer is cruel, unusual & barbaric;
whereas a woman’s right to abort the life of an innocent child
is inalienable.
*Starving an innocent, hehelplessictim like Terri Schaivo to
death is fine, whereas using lethal injection to end the life of
a brutal killer is not OK.
* Invading a foreign nation is wrong, except when illegal
immigrants from Mexico invade America.
* Discrimination based on race or gender is wrong. Except when
waged against Caucasian men, in which case it is mandated by
law & called Affirmative Action.
*Masculinity & all things male are the source of all evil,
whereas feminism is liberating & spiritual in nature. Jesus was
probably female, truth be known!
* Freedom of speech must never be repressed, except when
“hurtful” to any constituency of the Democrat party.
* Tax cuts are wrong if it means returning money to the people
who actually paid taxes, but perfectly fine when sent to those
who paid no taxes.
* Christmas, the Holy Bible & other symbols of Christianity must
be quashed so as to offend no one; whereas, Ramadan, the Koran &
symbols of Islam must be heavily promoted in the name of
religious awareness & tolerance.
* Businesses are oppressive, fascist institutions that must not
be allowed to grow too large, while big government, when run by
Democrats, creates wealth & happiness & must be expanded.
* Military force must never be used, except when absolutely
needed to advance interests not vital to the US, or to obscure
a Democrat president’s sexual misconduct in the Oval Office.
The big question: Are you mindless enough to be a liberal?

Friends:
We launched the Censure Jimmy Carter effort because we were sick and tired of
seeing a former President of the United States intentionally undermining
American foreign policy and speaking out against the mission U.S. Troops were
serving.
The comments Jimmy Carter has made against our troops and the false charges he
has lobbed at them for their treatment of terrorists detained at Guantanamo
Bay, Cuba are vile and inexcusable.
I’m quite frankly sick and tired of seeing great patriots in this country
smeared by the liberal media while “Blame America First” activists like Jimmy
Carter are celebrated.
Well we won’t let that happen. We are going to expose Jimmy Carter’s actions
to the American people and ask them to join us in our plea to Congress to have
Jimmy Carter CENSURED for his shameful conduct.
To reach the American people via our first wave of national television ads I
need to raise another $7,230 by the close of business Monday. I am asking for
your help to raise this money.
You can make a contribution online right here:
http://www.CensureCarter.com/contribute
There are no contribution limits. I am hoping that 73 people can contribute
$100 and we’ll have reached our goal.
Maybe you can only contribute $25 or $50, or maybe you can afford $500, $1,000
or even $5,000. Any amount will help.
Either contribute online:

Or mail in a contribution to our office:

TEN...
The Kentucky Ten
by
Rob Hood
For a long time now the subject of separation of church and state has been a hot topic - especially in the conservative South. Over the years we have witnessed countless attacks of religious freedom and symbolism attacked throughout the United States by groups like the ACLU and others. We have seen Christmas plays changed to the more politically correct nonsense called “Holiday” Plays and other such silly and unnecessary acts.
Everyone remembers the fight with Judge Roy Moore in Alabama when he refused to take down a statue of the Ten Commandments from the courthouse. For a while now a conservative group called Liberty Counsel ( www.lc.org ) has dedicated itself to battling the ACLU on almost any issue dealing with the ten Commandments, public prayer, the war on Christmas, and other hot button issues.
Liberty Counsel lost its battle with the ACLU in the Kentucky fight for the Ten Commandments last year but is still fighting to win the war. Kentucky has been dealing with a blatant attack from the ACLU involving the Ten Commandments after the case of Roy Moore was decided. This case gave the ACLU more brass to act out their agenda, but not without a fight. Liberty Counsel has been there at every corner holding its own. As a matter of fact, Liberty Counsel’s win ratio in court is 83 % which is great for a conservative group.
Kentuckians hold the ten Commandments as dear as any other conservative state does. Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher said recently “ The Ten Commandments do represent sacred religious text...But we cannot deny the commandments’ significant impact on culture, history, and the laws of Kentucky, as well as the laws of the United States”.
Mr. Fletcher was right. Were does “Thou shalt not kill” or “Thou shalt not steal” fit into U.S. Law? Don’t the United States have the same laws? Is it not against the law to kill? Steal? Bear false witness (under oath)? Liberals tell us of an invisible wall of separation of church and state, but that wall does not really exist. Sure the state cannot adopt a particular religion as a state mandated religion, but there is no such separation that says that prayer cannot exist in public and that Christmas cannot be celebrated and the Ten Commandments cannot be viewed in public.
As a matter of fact I am willing to bet that our founding fathers celebrated Christmas, prayed in public, and held dearly to the values learned from the Ten Commandments. Throughout our history many important people have relied on religion and now the ACLU and the liberal counterculture want it erased from history because it cramps their personal lifestyle choices. Here are a few famous people and their words about this subject:
Abraham Lincoln, referring to the Bible said “ This great book...is the best gift God has given to man”.
John Quincy Adams said “ Great is my veneration for the Bible.”
Sir Isaac Newton said “ I account the scriptures of God the most sublime philosophy.”
Thomas Jefferson said “ The studious persual of the sacred volume will make better citizens, better fathers, and better husbands.”
Patrick Henry said There is a book worth all other books which were ever printed.”
Robert E. Lee said “ In all my perplexities and distresses, the Bible has never failed to give me light and strength.”
Galileo said “ I believe that the intention of the Holy Writ was to persuade men of the truths necessary to salvation.”
William Lyon Phelps said “ Western civilization is founded upon the Bible; all our ideas, our wisdom, our philosophy, our literature, our art, our ideals come more from the Bible than all other books put together.”
Alexander Hamilton said “ I have carefully examined the evidences of the Christian religion, and if I were sitting as a juror upon its authenticity, I would unhesitatingly give my verdict in its favor.”
There are many other famous people, even some of the founding fathers themselves who often prayed and read the Bible, so why do we have to give that up today just because we offend someone who is unwilling to listen to the truth of Gods word? We need more people like Liberty Counsel to stand up to those who oppose our freedom. Kentucky is still a battle zone as much of the rest of the U.S. but surely good will triumph in the end.

News...
From Bias to Bigotry: CBS News Goes into Free-Fall
by Carey Roberts
What will Dan Rather be most remembered for – the forged memos from the ill-
fated Texas Air National Guard story? Or will it be this candid admission, “Who
among us have not lied about somebody? I think you can be an honest person and
lie about any number of things”?
No matter, now we have a new contestant in the How-much-can-you-slant-the-news-
and-keep-a-straight-face sweepstakes.
Her name is Katie Couric, and in a few short weeks she will sashay into the
anchor seat at CBS News. You may remember, she was the first host of a morning
talk show to ever broadcast her own colonoscopy.
Whether the issue is abortion, the gender wage gap, or daycare, Couric has
always crooned in harmony with the feminist looney-tunes. She credited
Madeleine Albright as being a “rock star” and hailed Nancy Pelosi’s ascension
to the House leadership with a “you go, girl!”
In a June 2, 1994 interview, Couric invited Christina Hoff Sommers, author of
Who Stole Feminism?. When Sommers explained that football does not provoke male
viewers into a wife-beating frenzy, Katie offered this response: “Let’s say, if
one accepts your thesis, that these statistics are inflated or used
incorrectly. Aren’t you worried about throwing the baby out with the bath
water?..… Aren’t you afraid that you’re going to be dismissing the problem
all together if you refute that, or if you
constantly criticize that?”
So Katie let the cat out of the bag – when feminists make their grandiose
claims about brutish patriarchs and downtrodden women, they don’t believe a
single word of what they’re saying. It’s just that telling the truth would be
tantamount to “dismissing the problem all together.”
In 1991, Clarence Thomas was nominated to the Supreme Court. When feminist
Anita Hill switched her testimony, senator Arlen Specter remarked on her lack
of credibility. Nine years later, Katie was still seething.
So on March 6, 2000 she invited Specter to her program and then proceeded to
rake him over the coals: “You know you, you angered a lot of feminists when you
accused Anita Hill. In fact, you detailed how she changed her testimony during
questioning, during the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings. And you accused
of her publicly, quote, ‘Flat out perjury.’ Any regrets?”
Always on the look-out to find sexism where none exists, Ms. Couric invited
Time magazine managing editor Jim Kelly to her show on December 22, 2003.
Waving the magazine’s Person of the Year issue, Kate demanded, “Tell me why you
all decided to honor the American soldier? Wondering why there’s no woman on
the cover, too?”
When Kelly pointed out the uniformed woman on the front, Couric began to trot
out her pre-scripted answer, only to realize too late that she had goofed: “Oh,
there you go….oh sorry....I couldn’t tell because of her helmet.”
But it was a segment she did on February 8 last year that most exposed her
feminist-socialist leanings. The piece featured a taped interview with Gloria
Steinem.
This was Couric’s best line: “While nearly as many women are now in the
workforce as men, they are still paid less. About 76 cents for every dollar a
man makes.” Of course Couric was raking in $13 million that year, plus
incentive provisions and syndication fees. Yes, Katie knows all about the
oppression of women in the workplace.
Katie is not just a perky cheerleader for the latest feminist cause-de-jour;
she has a history of being an unrepentant gender bigot.
In a November 1997 interview of Nicole Contos, the cast-off bride of Tasos
Michael, Couric asked Contos, “Have you considered castration as an option?”
Katie, I know of women who have gotten wet feet at the last minute. So will you
be asking their jilted bridegrooms, “Have you considered vulvectomy as an
option?”
Just a month later on December 15, Couric reported that commercials directed at
men are simple-minded, compared to those aimed at women. That’s because women
are capable of more complex thought, according to Katie.
But above all, Katie Couric is the lead pom-pom girl for team Hillary. After
Mrs. Clinton released her book in 2003, Couric ran a five-part series to
commemorate the event. When Hillary invented the story about daughter Chelsea
barely escaping a firey death in Battery Park on 9/11, Katie sympathized, “At
that moment, she was not just a senator, but a concerned parent.”
Tissue, please.
So as Katie Couric takes over at CBS News and HRC revs up her presidential
campaign, get ready for more fawning interviews, tear-jerker stories, and good
ol’ fashioned tall tales.

WAR...
“(The Jewish state was) a creation of the Jewish community of New York and London … For me, the Jewish state of Palestine is a missing star in the American flag. You are the head of the snake for me. If I want to destroy the Jewish state of Palestine, I have to destroy you.” - Zacarias Moussaoui
With statements like this as well as those by the President of Iran against Israel and America, what is it going to take for those who are more interested in criticizing the war effort than winning it to wake up? Will they listen to those who have first hand experience and a non-politicized viewpoint? Thank you for publishing my article.
War in Iraq - Who Is Telling the Truth?
by Sharon Hughes
The American people have heard so many conflicting stories about the attitudes of the Iraqi people towards America, as well as our soliders’ attitudes about the war effort, that reporting such stories has become a battleground in and of itself.
There is no doubt that negative feedback about the war is emphasized by the mainstream media which, while accusing legislators of politicizing the war, in fact are as guilty, if not more, of doing the same. Case in point: Cindy Sheehan. Who would argue that the air and print time given to this anti- war poster-mom of the left wasn’t exhaustive? Yet hardly a mention has been given to the Blue Star Moms and others who have also lost sons in the war, and have something to say, but from a different point of view than Sheehan. Let’s not forget, the media made Cindy Sheehan.
The headlines of major print media, especially online where articles are grouped by topic, could be enough to make the less informed think we are losing the war, that the effort and sacrifice paid already by our troops have been in vain. However, when you read the stories themselves, very often there’s little substance to support the headline accusations, once you get past the spin.
That’s why I like to read and hear it from the Iraqi people, our soldiers, and others who are not interested in politicizing the war.
Such as Franklin Raff who reported in his article, “Media treachery in Iraq exposed!” for WorldNetDaily, about the Iraqi officer of significant rank who asked:
“Why do you people not tell our story? Why do you not say what is going on? Why do you come to our country and see what is happening, you see the schools and the hospitals and you see the markets and you eat with Sunni and Shia soldiers – everybody eats together, everybody works together –you see that Saddam is gone forever and we are free to speak and complain. You see we are working and eating together and fighting together – Sunni and Shia – you see what we are building here, you see the votes we make as one people. Then you say to the world about a great war and horrible things and how we are all killing each other? We are not animals! We are Iraqis. Look around you! Look!”
And Officer Dan Maher of the New York Police Department, who recently spent a year helping to train an Iraqi police force. He took a tape recorder with him to record his experience, and NPR radio recently interviewed him, also playing short clips of what he captured on tape, which you can hear HERE. He tells his experience straight, just like it is. And many others have and are doing the same, but their voices are rarely heard.
I’ve interviewed several soldiers, officers and journalists who have been in Iraq, on my show since the war began and they all echo Dan Maher’s attitude.
No one wants to go to war, except aggressors who want to dominate the world. Not soldiers. Not officers. Not presidents. Not Americans. Not our allies. Not any civilized people or freedom-loving country. Nevertheless, when the safety of the people is at risk, both imminent and in the foreseeable future, the brave and understanding are willing to enter the fray when necessary.
There have always been, and always will be, the bullies of the world who will not stop, unless they are stopped. That’s why war is a reality. And that’s why the great majority of us, who stay at home while our troops defend us, are so grateful for their effort on our behalf. That’s why “supporting our troops” fighting the war on terror is alive and well.
Oh, I know I’ll get a ton of mail for saying these things from those who disagree. But I comfort myself with the knowledge that the vast majority of Americans wish there was no such thing as war, but understand the consequences of not standing up to the bullies of the world. If you can say anything about America, you can say this...we will not be beaten in the school yard of the world.
To those who think my comments are ridiculous, let me ask you, what do you think then of 9/ll terrorist, Zacarias Moussaoui’s statements in court on Thursday, April 13th, 2006, in anwser to Prosecutor Rob Spencer’s questioning? ...
Spencer: “So you would be happy to see 9/11 again?”
Moussaoui: “Every day until we get you. I’m glad there was pain, and I wish there will be more pain.”
Spencer: “So, you have no regret, no remorse?”
Moussaoui: “No regret, no remorse. We have an obligation to be the superpower. You have to be subdued.”
Is war a seamless operation? No. Is the war in Iraq running smoothly? What does that mean? War is hell! But, in the midst of it all, because of the bravery and sacrifice of our soldiers, much good is happening to defend us at home and to extend freedom in countries that have not known freedom.
Who is telling the truth about the war in Iraq? Those who don’t have an axe to grind. Those who are saying it like it is...like it really is.

CENSURE!
We launched the Censure Jimmy Carter campaign [ http://www.CensureCarter.com ] because we felt it was important that someone who was seriously undermining America’s national security be held accountable for his actions.
Each and every day the mainstream news media (what Rush Limbaugh calls the
“drive by media") attacks the virtues that make this country great.
Meanwhile, these same “Blame America First” media types celebrate and praise
those shameless individuals who constantly attack and degrade our nation such
as former President Jimmy Carter.
This is all part of a coordinated offensive on America’s institutions by those
who wish to redefine what this great nation stands for. Consider some of the
most recent examples where virtue is under assault and those who preach hate
for American values are celebrated.
*In our city streets hundreds of thousands of individuals (many
of them illegal aliens) champion anarchy and insist on
government handouts and capitulation to their demands for amnesty.
*Anti-war protestors attempt to rewrite history and the murderous
acts of Saddam Hussein, Yasser Arafat and terrorist groups like
Hamas and Hezbollah. Meanwhile they claim America is the enemy
to peace in the world; equate our President with Adolf Hitler,
seek to topple our Secretary of Defense and Vice President and
carry signs that read “We Support Our Soldiers When They Shoot
Their Commanders.”
*Yet former President Jimmy Carter paves the way for North Korea
to obtain nuclear arms; allows Islamic fundamentalists to topple
a peaceful regime in Iran; cheers on anti-American dictators such
as Cuba’s Fidel Castro and Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez; gives away
the Panama Canal that the U.S. built with American blood, sweat
and tears; and for all of this he is rewarded with the 2002 Nobel
Peace Prize and is heralded by the American news media as
a U.S. “hero.”
Well, we cannot continue to sit silently and allow for these individuals to
attempt to move America backwards to the culture of the 1960’s - which is
exactly what those on the Left and many in the news media want to see happen.
Instead we are going to hold accountable those who repeatedly have tried to
undermine our nation’s security and the mission our brave troops are serving in
as part of the war on terrorism.
It’s time that the Congress and the American people shamed and condemned the
actions of Jimmy Carter in particular, as he has emerged as one of the most
destructive voices for our American ideals.
We have produced our first TV commercial to advance the “Censure Jimmy Carter”
campaign. We will be running this on national television news stations as we
build momentum for the “Censure Jimmy Carter” campaign.
Please watch the commercial here:
http://www.censurecarter.com/video/1/
Then make a generous contribution of $50, $100, $200, $500 or more to make sure
these TV ads are aired - there are no contribution limits, so please contribute
whatever you can afford.
Contribute online here: http://www.censurecarter.com/contribute
With your financial support we will broadcast our initial ad to get the word
about our efforts and then follow up with additional ads that go into greater
detail about Jimmy Carters transgressions against our great nation.
I hope I can count on your support to build momentum for our efforts. We
already have over 50,000 signatures for this campaign, but now we need to take
things to the next level.
Please - make a contribution now:

HE IS RISEN!
Come, See the Place where the Lord Lay
by Hans Zeiger
The angel who appeared to the women at the tomb in the early hours of Easter
gave to our age a good call. “Do not be afraid,” he said, “for I know that you
seek Jesus Who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.
Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
Faith runs weak in the West. It is an age of postmodernism, which means that
most people can’t figure out what to do with themselves. Those who settle on
some direction find themselves headed no place in particular. There are many
choices and many chances, but there is no truth and no meaning. We propose to
murder a fetus, not because we are no longer useful to her, but because she is
no longer useful to us. It was the same war on life that claimed the life of
Jesus Christ two millennia ago.
So the angel speaks to our postmodern age: “Do not be afraid.” There is much
that we could fear these days. We could fear terrorism, we could fear AIDS, we
could fear government, we could fear technology, we could fear the future. In
fear, we grope around for an ultimate Reality that can conquer our worst fears,
a Truth that can overcome our most deceitful lies, and a path that can lead us
to a sublime destiny.
And sometimes we set our eyes upon the empty tomb, but we have no faith in its
message. We think, until the Word of God strikes our hearts otherwise, that
Jesus is still lying there, dead because we killed Him. And the angel corrects
us, “I know that you seek Jesus Who was crucified. He is not here.”
But something is in there, we reply. Some dead thing rests in the tomb. And all
the while, it is only ourselves that we see lying dead there, dead in sin.
How rarely does it occur in our minds that the tomb may actually sit empty. The
consequences of the fact of the resurrection being dramatic, there is a sinful
aversion to believe in Easter. Sin is our plague, and to sin we gladly
return.
But the angel invites us up out of the tomb with Christ, “for He is risen.” We
can know that the tomb is truly empty when we ourselves get out of it and join
the Savior on the side of life.
Alive in Christ, we can know Truth itself in a world that long ago gave up the
search for Truth. Alive in Christ, we can experience Mercy in a world that
knows none. Alive in Christ, “Mercy and Truth have met together; Righteousness
and Peace have kissed. Truth shall spring out of the earth, and Righteousness
shall look down from Heaven.” Jesus Christ – the Way, the Truth, the Life – has
sprung out of the earth. Though his grave was deeper than any other man’s, for
the sins he carried were
heavier, Truth could not remain buried in the earth.
And now with new eyes, eyes of Truth, we can come see the place where the Lord
lay. Death reigned there in that tomb, but Life broke forth into Light. As a
great old hymn rejoices, “The strife is o’er, the battle done; / The victory of
life is won; / The song of triumph has begun.”
How, upon beholding such a sight as the empty tomb, are we to sing our song of
triumph? The next thing the angel said was, “Go quickly and tell.” There is
urgency and immediacy in the message that matters. “You who make mention of the
Lord, do not keep silent,” says Isaiah 62:6.
This is the task of our generation: to come see the place where the Lord lay,
and then to go quickly and tell. If we look upon any other place or declare any
other message, we will be the “perverse and crooked generation” of Deuteronomy
32, “children in whom is no faith,” or the cursing, vicious, self-righteous
generation of Proverbs 30. But “the generation of the upright will be blessed”
(Psalm 112:2).
This generation must be upright; we must stand tall before God; we must not
grow slack in proclaiming His Good News. We are the posterity of Easter
prophesied in Psalm 22. “A posterity shall serve Him. And it will be recounted
of the Lord to the next generation, they will come and declare His
righteousness to a people who will be born, that He has done this.”

Nuclear Iran: Beware of the Russian Bear in the Middle East
by Jim Kouri, CPP
As the Iranians are moving closer to developing a nuclear weapons program, the
Russian government is telling the world not to worry. An Russian official is
being quoted as saying the centrifuges available to Iran are not sufficient to
launch industrial uranium enrichment. A Russian nuclear expert concurred.
“Uranium enrichment in Iran is not arousing concerns in Russia. There is
nothing unexpected in this. The availability of 164 centrifuges in Iran is a
fact that has been known for a long time,” Russian Atomic Energy Agency chief
Sergei Kiriyenko told China’s communist party-controlled news agency.
“These centrifuges allow Iran to conduct laboratory uranium enrichment to a low
level in insignificant amounts. The acquisition of highly enriched uranium is
unfeasible today using this method,” Kiriyenko said.
However, a senior Iranian official and former president Hashemi Rafsanjani told
the Kuwait News Agency that Iran had operated the first unit of 164 centrifuges
and successfully enriched uranium.
And then there’s Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad bragging on Tuesday that
Iran had “joined the world club of nuclear technology.”
However, in order for the Iranian scientists to produce their own fuel at least
for the initial loading of a nuclear reactor, “one needs to have not some
hundred-and-a-half centrifuges, but thousands of times more,” Viktor Mikhailov,
ex-minister of the Russian Ministry for Atomic Energy who leads the ministry’s
Institute for Strategic Stability.
But why should the United States and the United Nations believe the Russian
government? Afterall, US intelligence agencies have for years known about
Russian duplicity in Iraq. In fact, recent declassified reports indicated that
Russian intelligence gave Iraq’s military leaders US war plans for the 2003
invasion. Today, Iran is a cash cow for the Russians and it’s in their best
interest to prop up the current regime.
According to officials at the Arms Control Association, “Russia has become
Iran’s main source of advanced conventional arms, an alleged supplier of know-
how and technology for its ballistic missile and chemical and biological
warfare programs, and its sole source of civilian nuclear technology.”
The ACA maintains that Iran also wants to be able to deter potential threats
from the United States, Israel, and, more recently, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and
Afghanistan. Tehran’s efforts to modernize its armed forces and acquire weapons
of mass destruction are driven by a desire to bridge the gap between its
military weakness and its image of itself as a regional power and the standard
bearer of revolutionary Islam. To these ends, Tehran has turned to Russia—
the only country that can provide it
with arms in the quantity and the quality that it desires.
And the Russians are more than happy to accomodate the Iranians with high-
priced weapons systems that would be aimed at the West, including the United
States.
Tehran cherishs this relationship with Moscow. One need only look at how the
Iranians have remained silent over Moscow’s bloody suppression of a Muslim
separatist movement in Chechnya. These are Iran’s fellow Jihadists, yet the
Iranians defer to the Russian government in order to keep the relationship in
tact. Iran wants access to sophisticated weaponry and the Russians want to
buttress their unstable economy with Iranian cash.
Russia’s arms and technology transfers to Iran have created diplomatic and
security headaches for Washington, as Tehran develops some fairly sophisticated
military niche-capabilities and builds ballistic missiles armed with weapons of
mass destruction (WMD) that threaten US interests and allies in the region.
Even more troubling for Washington, it has been able to do very little about it
and its options seem limited according to ACA.
In addition, intelligence experts believe—as with the Saddam regime in Iraq -
- Russian intelligence officers are assisting the Iranians. Jane’s Intelligence
Review reports the while the KGB was dismantled, the Russians are continuously
growing a huge intelligence network that is deeply entrenched in the Middle
East.
It’s believed that Russia is hosting Iranian intelligence officers at their
training facilities and academies in order to upgrade their training in
intelligence gathering and analysis, covert actions, and strategic planning.
So when Russia tells the world that Iran is basically no threat at this point
in time, should we really believe them?

Teacher in Trouble in Alabama
The Ranting and Ravings of an Alabama Educator
by
Rob Hood
Two days ago I got off work and started my drive home while listening to the Sean Hannity show like I always do. When I began listening I figured that the show would consist of the usual content of interviews and commentary on news and political events, but one story stood out that is not getting enough media attention. The Alien Media Nation, as referred to by Bill Bennett, or as most of it know it as, the mainstream liberal media, is ignoring this case purposefully to gain themselves a political front this November.
It all started in Limestone County, Alabama when an eighth grade science teacher show his students film clips about President Bush and other conservative leaders including Sean Hannity, Dr. James Dobson, Tom Delay, d*** Cheney, Tony Blair, Ann Coulter, Donald Rumsfeld, and numerous other conservatives. The film consisted of profanity more than twenty times. The president was referred to as an a**hole several times by what I describe was a very crude song written by very a very untalented band.
I have heard many liberal say to conservatives that creation must not be taught in a science class because it is not science. Well, they may have their own point, but I think you as the reader would agree that this action here has nothing to do with science either, so why is this so called teacher indoctrinating negative political viewpoints to a classroom full of eighth grade science students and why has CBS, NBC, PBS,CNN, or any of the other “news” networks picked up on this yet?
I heard more today from an Alabama talk radio show called the Rick and Bubba show (www.rickandbubba.com). Today they had incumbent Republican House Representative Mickey Hammon on in an interview and Mr. Hammon was pleased to tell everyone that this same school teacher was his opponent in the upcoming November Election. The Alabama Democratic Party has asked the science teacher, Steve White, to step down from his campaign. Mr. Hammon said he wished that the Alabama Democratic party would not have asked him to step down because he could then show his state just how liberal democrats act when angry. Of course I suppose that Mr. White will withdraw his candidacy since the state party asked him to, but will only be replaced by another liberal anyway, so what’s the difference?
Mr. Hammon made the remark that Alabama Republicans are working hard to defeat the state legislature’s liberals so that they can hand the state government back into the hands of the people. I could not agree more. The discussion on the Rick and Bubba show also talked about some of the same reasons others have discussed about how the South changed from largely Democrat to almost solidly Republican.
So how did this change occur? At one time Democrats stood for the same principles that today’s Republicans stand for. They were known as a Christian party that cared for the poor and disabled. Now they are primarily known in the South as liberals who wish for socialism and the extermination of Christianity from the Public square. Fifty years ago you would have seen a Democrat fight to keep the Ten Commandments in that Alabama courthouse. Today you see them as the perpetrators who wished it gone.
So to answer the question, the South has not changed very much. The Southern Evangelical Christians did not leave the Democratic Party. their values are still the same as they were decades ago. it was the Democratic Party who allowed liberals to overrun the party and take full control. When this happened, people started seeking new leadership and the trend continues today.
NBC’s Brian Williams once interviewed Dr. Richard Land of the Southern Baptist Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission shortly after the 2004 Presidential election. He was asked what would it take for a president to win back the Southern states. The answer was primarily that the candidate had to be pro-life, pro-traditional marriage, and have the characteristics in faith to be a great moral leader and set the example for the youth of America. In other words, a Southern Evangelical Christian is probably not going to vote for anyone who stands for abortion, same-sex marriage, embryonic stem cell research, human cloning, removal of God from the public square, and is anti-Second Amendment. There are exceptions to this I know, but they are few and far between.
One of the hosts on the show this morning made a great point while talking to the incumbent candidate. He stated that if he were running for public office he would announce what he stood for and who he was. For example: “Hi! My name is ___ and I am running for office of ___. I am an evangelical Christian who believes that _____. If elected, here are my goals for our great state: _____. “
How hard can that be? I agree. Candidates on both sides of the political spectrum should say who they are, what they want, and what they stand for, but liberals cannot do this because if they get up there and say “ I want abortion on demand, I want the ten Commandments down and prayer silenced, I want human cloning to take place for scientific discovery, and I want a total ban on all handguns.”
No how many votes do you think that person would get? It seems to me they might get a few. john Kerry sure did and he stood for all of this. This eighth grade science teacher stand for the same. He can’t win elections so he and his comrades across America are using schools, universities, and the Supreme Court to push their agenda through and indoctrinate young minds and that my friend is a sickening way of grabbing political power for personal gain.
This morning I only knew that the teacher was on paid leave until this mess could be straightened out. There were many complaints from parents and some demanded that this teacher be fired immediately. Of course he was not fired, yet! He should be though. he should be doing his job of teaching science and not politics, and especially mot vulgarities and profanities mixed with politics. he is the adult and is supposed to be setting a good leadership example for the kids. Instead he acts like a stark raving lunatic because of his hatred for people whom he ahs never met and does not even know on a personal level.
My friends we can learn from this. People often ask why private schools and home school is so popular and I believe I just gave you the answer of a lifetime. Who wants to send their kids off to a school to learn about science, but instead learns about conservative “a**holes” from an indecent filmstrip that was picked out for the sole purpose of a political victory.
I agree with Representative Hammon. Let’s not make him step down as a candidate. instead we should encourage him to run on these beliefs that he has and let the people decide who they want for a leader. While what Mr. White done was unnecessary and totally uncalled for, the lack of attention from the news media is just as bad. Even though I did not like President Clinton’s policies did not mean that I hated him and wanted to show profane filmstrips about him and other democrats to eighth grade science students. Can you imagine what the mainstream media would do if a southern conservative evangelical republican were to do the exact same thing to a Democrat President? The media would harp on this for a month, but as long as Bush is getting the heat, the media says nothing. How is that for “fair and balanced”? You tell me. All I can say to you readers out there is to start questioning your kids about what goes on in school because there are some out there that are not doing their job as teacher. They are there to run a campaign and an not so good campaign at that. Sean Hannity was absolutely right to start this thing where conservative students start recording the ranting of professors gone wild in the classroom and exposing them for what they really are. If these teachers have the guts to say these things in a classroom then why not in public? This pretty much does it for me. I don’t have kids, but when I do, I plant to send them to a private school or even home school. At least they will learn about the science of life and not how conduct scientific research on how to hate Bush more.

Outrage in Alabama: Kids Shown Political Video with Obscenities by 8th Grade
Teacher
by Jim Kouri, CPP
An elementary school science teacher, who’s a Democrat nominee for the
legislature, got a slap on the wrist from school officials when he showed 8th
grade students a vulgar slide show that repeatedly refers to President Bush,
members of his staff and conservative personalities as “a--holes.”
The teacher’s presentation also included the “S-word” and showed someone “
flipping a bird.”
Steve White of West Limestone High School in Lester, Alabama, got off with only
a “slap on the wrist,” according to the Athens local newspaper, the News
Courier.
The video is in a slideshow format accompanied by a song that repeatedly uses
obscenities. Along with images of Bush, the show includes Secretary of State
Condolezza Rice, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, columnist Ann Coulter
and Fox News Channel hosts Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly, according to
reporter Landon Howell, who viewed the video.
One parent told reporters that she was shocked when she heard her 13-year old
son and his friends talking about the video and using the “vulgar language
contained in it.” She said other parents were outraged that a science teacher
was politicizing his class and using obscene language in a video created to
denigrate the President and other Republicans and conservatives.
School board member Darin Russell said the board learned of the controversy a
month ago, but it was handled only by Superintendent Barry Carroll as a “
personnel matter,” the News Courier reported.
But when reporters questioned Limestone County Superintendent Barry Carroll, he
said Thursday that he talked with West Limestone High School teacher Steve
White about showing the film.
“It’s a personnel matter, and it’s been handled,” Carroll said. “Both I and
Principal Stan Davis discussed the matter with him. He’s not on suspension or
anything like that.”
However, Carroll refused to specify how he handled it.
Some parents are saying that’s not good enough and that the teacher, principal
and school superintendent should be forced to resign or at least answer
questions instead of hiding from the news media.
Now that the story is gaining national attention and West Limestone High School
is receiving additional complaints from parents about offensive material shown
to students by teacher Steve White. The school superintendent is saying the
matter is “under investigation” and that he may place White on administrative
leave.
White ran against Rep. Tommy Carter, D-Elkmont, in 1994 for the District 5
seat. During that Democratic primary, the Alabama Democratic Party ordered a
new election because of balloting errors. Carter, who won the initial primary
by 27 votes, criticized the party for that decision and tried to stop the new
election. In the new election, Carter won by 1,633 votes.
One GOP activist, Charles Burke, told reporters covering the story that he’s
not surprised at White showing 12 and 13-year olds such profanity.
“You have to remember, the guy’s a Democrat,” he laughed.
In the past, White also forced one student say “John Kerry rocks” before
leaving class one day, according to students in his science class.

Over 60 parents in Lexington are have started to take action against the
planned “Day of Silence” in the town’s schools scheduled for April 26. As we
reported, at last year’s Day of Silence at Lexington High, students who did not
agree with the aggressive pro-homosexual message were physically assaulted by
other gay-activist students (in at least one case in front of a teacher, who
did nothing) and parents who peacefully protested outside were confronted and
harassed by students and adults.
The “Day of Silence” is sponsored by GLSEN, a national homosexual activist
group targeting children in the public schools, during which kids are
encouraged by school teachers and administrators not to speak for the entire
day in solidarity with the homosexual movement. Stickers, bracelets, pamphlets,
etc., are handed out to the kids to reinforce the message that anyone
(including their parents) who disagrees with the homosexual movement is a
bigot, hater, and generally ignorant person.
We will be doing more on this year’s Day of Silence—and what you can do
about it—in upcoming emails. But one of the more offensive parts of is the
fact that school officials continue to insist that it’s ‘student led and
organized’, which has been proven over and over again to be an outright lie. In
fact, in Massachusetts through the Governor’s Commission for Gay and Lesbian
Youth (don’t get us started on THAT!) your tax dollars find their way to fund
the Day of Silence.
Parents in Lexington have formed a local group, “Citizens for Freedom”, and
through that group they’ve started by publishing a letter in this week’s issue
of the local newspaper, the Lexington Minuteman. They’ve also hand-delivered a
personal letter to Schools Superintendent Paul Ash.
Click here for the two letters, covered earlier this week in our MassResistance
Blog:
http://massresistance.blogspot.com/2006/04/cancel-day-of-silence-say-lexington.html
Good for them! Follow their example! See what’s planned in your own school.
Challenge it!! Don’t be afraid!
---------------------------------------------------------------------Also from
Article 8 in Massachusetts:
=== 2. “Boston Gay Men’s Chorus” presents gay-themed concert at Concord-
Carlisle High School as homosexual agenda takes over Palm Sunday! ===
Yes, the show went on.
As we reported in our last email, public school officials in Massachusetts seem
to be looking for creative ways to push the homosexual agenda in the most
offensive ways possible. This past Sunday—Palm Sunday—the Concord-
Carlisle High School (CCHS) in Concord, MA, invited the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus
to give a homosexual-oriented concert as a fundraiser for the Boston chapter of
“Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays” (PFLAG), one of the most
aggressive homosexual groups in the country.
We also reported that a local resident (and since then, there have been many
others) contacted school officials to express outrage that this would be
happening. According to everything we’ve heard back, the response from every
public official has been either arrogance and even insults, or to ignore them
completely.
Well, here’s just a few of the depraved “highlights” of that event:
* Opening remarks from the Vice Chairman of Gov. Romney’s “Governor’s
Commission for Gay and Lesbian Youth”, which uses your tax money (several
hundred thousand dollars) to support homosexual programs in the public schools.
The Governor’s Commission was specifically thanked in the program for their
“continued support and advocacy.” [NOTE: Gov. Romney’s staff continues to
ignore our requests by phone, email, and even personal visits for a meeting to
discuss this and other issues. They won’t even acknowledge that we contacted
them.]
* Several selections by the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus from their show
“Metamorphosis” which tells the story of two young men who come out, meet each
other, fall in love and deal with the rejection and reconciliation with their
families.
* “A Love that Will Never Grow Old”, from the film Brokeback Mountain, sung by
the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus. And lyrics such as “Some women love women, some
men love men; Some raise children, some never do” from Everything Possible, by
Fred Small.
* And they even got the kids go get into the act. This is unbelievable: the
Concord Carlisle High School Select Choir sung “It Was a Lover and His Lad”.
This song is a perverted knock-off of “It Was a Lover and His Lass” from
Shakespeare’s As You Like It.

Cowards Attack...
A Striking Blow
by
Rob Hood
It came as a striking blow to all who believe in truth. An event so shocking that no one could foretell its forthcoming, but it happened nevertheless. Not so long ago I introduced to you what was referred to as “Evolution Sunday” where the Clergy Letter Project was used to gain access to over 10,000 clergy in order for vowed atheists to gain access to the pulpit to preach their false doctrines.
Now the battle is worse. The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) has now announced their blatant hatred and vigorous war with those who do not accept evolution as a fact. As many as 9,000 scientists, journalists, and other people gathered in St. Louis, Missouri at a conference on how to combat creationists. These people refer to people of faith as Biblical Fundamentalists or Christian fundamentalists.
They have several goals in which we as conservative Christians must prevent from happening at all costs. We must do everything in our power to make sure they fail at their attempts to satanize the church with false doctrines devised by atheists, communists, and others alike.
Their goals are simply this:
1) Enlist clergy or pastors to promote evolution in the church.
2) Use education as a tool of deceit by convincing the America public that we are “behind” everyone else in competitiveness of science.
3) Introduce evolution earlier into school at the ages of five to six. High schoolers have been taught the truth by parents, so they want to go to young, more influential minds.
4) Use a political tactic of the old “bait and switch” method in order to change the meanings of words related to their goals.
5) Recruit lawyers to make sure that schools become “god-free” zones so that they push their evil agenda through without problems. I though lawyers were already recruited for that. The ACLU would be a prime candidate I presume since they have more experience in these matters of persecution.
Right now a creation ministry is counter this cowardly attack on Christianity and the Holy, infallible word of God. Anyone interested in countering this vile attack should contact Answers in Genesis, but let’s not stop there. Let’s post the dangerous agenda of those who wish our faith dead in every conservative place we can think of.
My friends, you can help. Write to your local newspapers, post comments on bogs and conservative sites. Write letters to churches warning them of this mindless brainwashing political scandal that is about to rock the nation. Friends I urge you to further counter this group by calling in to talk radio shows, and writing you congressman and senators and perhaps even the White House about this. In other words, make the switchboards smoke! Let’s expose this agenda to the point that no longer poses a threat to Christianity. Remember there are about 1500 lawyers working with organizations and individuals like Liberty Counsel, Alliance Defense Fund, American Center for Law and Justice, and a few others that often fight the ACLU tooth and nail on things much more minor than this. We need all 1500 to file a suit against AAAS for their unconstitutional attacks on religion. At the same time we need to seek out every conservative news organization and website we can to spread the word. Together we can turn the public back to the truth and sun this nonsense.
The “tolerance” of evolution, same sex marriage, abortion, etc. is all included in this great culture war that we continue to fight daily. Let’s let the opposition know that we do believe in one God that created the universe in six literal days and rested on the seventh, caused the great flood of Noah of which the evidence thereof is so overwhelming it would take a dead person to ignore, and that he sent His only son Jesus to die on a cross to rise again on the third day.
Please help Answers In Genesis to ward off those who wish to infiltrate our churches and brainwash innocent victims of freedom into believing some superstitious ape-man that lived millions of years ago. The earth did not even exist millions of years ago and ape men never existed at all. Parents please do not let these so called witch doctors of scientists come anywhere near your kids. Put a restraining order on them if you have to, but do not let these doctrines into the house of God whatever you do. They have already infiltrated the public schools system which I can see happening with today’s liberal culture, but preaching evolution in church is like teaching a cow to lay eggs. It just don’t make sense.
My friends we have a choice to make. Are you with God or against him? Make your choice now and stick with it. You can’t have it both ways. Either you believe the Bible or you don’t. Which is it? remember that if you fail to take a stand now, you will take a fall later.

Saving CBS News
By Nathan Tabor
To hear the mainstream media tell it, Katie Couric will be the savior of CBS News. She’s perky, blonde—and getting blonder by the day. She is widely portrayed as a tough interviewer who manages to exude the sweetness of an Iowa poultry queen. The CBS Evening News—which is consistently dead-last in the ratings, welcomes her as a breath of fresh air—the type of lady who can attract the under 35 crowd—even though she herself is pushing 50.
But it will take more than a Colgate smile and a cheerleader personality to rescue network news, which seems to specialize in bashing anyone considered patriotic, pro-military, or anywhere to the right of Ted Kennedy. It’s no accident that, during that dark period of American history between the two Presidents Bush, many ordinary Americans referred to CBS as the Clinton Broadcasting System.
It wasn’t so long ago that robotic anchorman Dan Rather had to step aside amid the shame of circulating phony documents attacking the credibility of the leader of the Free World. I have never heard a single person complaining about missing Rather and his routine attacks on Republicans.
Broadcast journalists such as Katie Couric feign concern for the poor and downtrodden, even as they line their personal bank accounts with millions. As a viewer, you wonder sometimes if they care at all about slandering an honorable American such as Congressman Tom DeLay since, at the end of the day, they can simply return to their penthouse apartments and gated communities and not have to deal with the hardships in life faced by average Americans.
Long ago, viewers tuned out and turned off the nightly news. I don’t believe that these former viewers abandoned their interest in civic affairs. I simply know too many baseball dads and soccer moms who are heavily involved in their communities and care deeply about what happens to America. And certainly in the wake of 9/11, people are aware of the fact that the troubled people in a distant land can wreak havoc on the American way of life.
People abandoned network news because network news abandoned them. Sure, the networks can try gimmicks to lure viewers back—such as solo female anchors, letting viewers vote for the stories they want to see, and hiring heartthrobs as national correspondents. But that’s all just window-dressing.
What the nightly news really needs is a dose of reality. It should be produced by people who live in the real world—the world of ten-year-old cars, monstrous medical bills, and coupon-clipping. The newscast needs to reflect the world that we actually live in—not the conservative hellhole envisioned by Barbra Streisand and the rest of the liberal crowd.
Network news should employ people of real diversity—and that would include people with conservative viewpoints. After all, conservatives lead many of our state legislatures, our businesses, and our athletic teams. Wouldn’t it make sense for conservatives to be present in newsrooms as well?
The advent of cable and the ascension of Fox News have permitted viewers to see current events from a different perspective—one not colored by left-wing propaganda. After seeing a bit of fair and balanced coverage, many viewers probably decide they simply don’t want to go back to network-style nonsense.
It will take more than a pretty face for an effective makeover at CBS News. It will also take a dedication to the pursuit of the truth, and a willingness to accept the fact that—believe it or not—most Americans love America and don’t want to see their President, Generals, and religious leaders routinely mocked on the small screen.

Gods...
Those Who Would be Gods
by Erik Rush
Millions accept the concept of the “eternal struggle against good and evil” as
an axiom, but few of us who address issues in the sociopolitical arena (except
for certain clergy and religious activists) ever address this in a practical
sense; the reason, I believe being concern over the seriously deleterious
effect relative to credibility as intelligent, level-headed commentators that
might result as a byproduct of doing so. “Well, you’re just one of those far-
Right Christian nuts” some have
said (with all the ignorance and intolerance that implies) – even about me, I
suppose giving them license to discount anything remotely substantial that I
might have to say, forever and ever Amen.
What, I would pose, then explains the liberals, people of non-Christian faiths
and secular conservatives who send columnists such as myself thousands of
emails and letters of agreement and support every single day?
As reflected in the mainstream media (of all places), a heretofore unforeseen
and astonishing number of politicians, even at state levels, are rejecting
anything that smacks of time-honored values or moral discernment as materia non
grata; it is in the process of being eradicated, and manifestations thereof are
being demonstrated with increasing frequency in the press every week. Jurists
appear to be making more and more relativist and irresponsible decisions,
inordinately concerned with the
rights and so-called “reformation” of violent criminal offenders – particularly
those who sexually exploit children; adult teachers who seduce their minor
students are seen as engaging in “consensual” (though bizarre and definitely
unlawful) relationships.
If one subscribes to the “eternal struggle” paradigm, it becomes difficult not
to acknowledge the fact that the struggle has increased dramatically in its
ferocity. The “moral relativism” which has become so contentious over the last
few years has reached surreal proportions. Good is indeed becoming evil,
especially if one is familiar with the secular socialist view of religion.
I find it amusing that many I speak with who identify themselves as liberals
turn out to be pretty reasonable people. Quite a few even sound like
conservatives after awhile; they are morally grounded, believe in personal
responsibility, national security, and fiscal responsibility. Many, I think,
simply see too much stigma attached to the word “conservative”: Phrases such
as “Oh, but those guys are only for big business,” and “They don’t care about
people like liberals do” – eventually wind up
in the mix. They’ve hypnotized into a distrust of conservatives and an
irrational fear of the Bush administration, but generally view the fringe on
the Right as suspiciously as that on the Left.
That the majority of the far Left are deluded, indoctrinated ideologues is an
easy call. The power brokers on the far Left, however – the George Soroses,
Peter Lewises, Steven Bings, and Rob Reiners, the Hillary Clintons, John
Kerrys, Ted Kennedys and their ilk – are the real danger, and “danger” in this
instance is a vast understatement. In truth, they’re not even dedicated
socialists, although their acolytes may be; they’re off-the-chart narcissistic,
elitist oligarchs who want to play God in
the fashion of the Caesars. Recent high-profile court decisions involving
criminals’ rights and fallaciously-grounded First Amendment issues have made it
clear that their influence has begun to fundamentally influence state
legislatures, the judiciary, the public at large, and even certain warped
clergy.
How does one then view the people who are bringing this about? Qualifying my
answer by indicating that I am not suggesting rash or radical action, purges or
political coups, it is clear that the insinuation of these far-Left influences
into mainstream positions of formidable political and financial power are
becoming a nearly-overwhelming force, even against the majority of Americans
who do not embrace the ideals they espouse. As many commentators have pointed
out, the aim of the influential
far Left is to completely secularize America. It may surprise the reader, but I
declare that is manifestly impossible.
Through their experience and knowledge of history, the Founding Fathers
believed that without the covenant relationship between the Creator and the
American people, we would descend into tyranny. History is proving them right,
too; the “secularization” of America is evidently far more about supplanting
the majority of Americans’ Judeo-Christian beliefs with other beliefs, about
far-Left movers and shakers replacing God with themselves as a pantheon of
gods, much in the same way as has been done
in every country which has “secularized” their culture. So it really isn’t
secularization at all – it’s conversion. This, lest I belabor the obvious,
makes the aforementioned far Left power brokers latter-day Lenins, Castros and
Maos.
As has been ultimately observed by those who come to believe their lies, these
crusaders for human rights, “the people”, and altruistic motives become tyrants
of unbridled capriciousness, cavalier elitism, and often, unspeakable cruelty.
At such a juncture, it’s a little late for their “subjects” to protest.
So how does one view the people who are bringing this about? As evil, of course.

Pro-Family Leader Calls California’s Pro-Homosexual
Textbook Bill ‘Outrageous’
By Jenni Parker
April 6, 2006
(AgapePress) - A pro-homosexual bill that pro-family forces are describing as
one of the most outrageous pieces of legislation to come through the California
legislature this year has been approved by the state’s Senate Judiciary
Committee.
Senate Bill 1437 would require California schools’ textbooks to highlight the
positive contributions of homosexual and transgender individuals to society and
would prevent school textbooks, teaching materials, school-sponsored
activities, and instruction from reflecting adversely upon persons based on
their sexual orientation or actual or perceived gender.
If SB 1437 passes, the bill could potentially require gender-neutral bathrooms
in the state’s schools. It could also result in a mandate to remove all
references to “husband” and “wife” or “mom and dad” as the norm from all school
textbooks.
In a Christian Newswire report, Capitol Resource Institute (CRI) executive
director Karen England explained why she feels the bill is so outrageous. The
California Senate legislation is “the most extreme effort thus far to transform
our public schools into institutions that disregard all notions of the
traditional family unit,” she observed.
This legislation “seeks to eliminate all ‘stereotypes’ of the traditional
family so that young children are brainwashed into believing that families with
mom and dads are irrelevant,” England said. “Under SB 1437 school districts
would likely be prohibited from having a ‘prom king and queen’ because that
would show bias based on gender and sexual orientation.”
Also, the CRI spokeswoman points out, since school-sponsored activities include
everything from cheerleading and sports to school social events, the bill would
also likely force school districts to do away with dress codes and to
accommodate transsexuals on girl-specific or boy-specific athletic teams.
CRI is committed to opposing any legislation that uses children as “social
experiments” even as it tramples upon long-standing traditional family values.
If passed, SB 1437 promises to exercise broad and sweeping impact on California
schools and to adversely affect children and families, England warns.
This legislation “disregards the religious and moral convictions of students,”
the CRI executive director adds. If it becomes law across the state of
California, she predicts that it will result in reverse discrimination as
well.

The truth about...
10 Essential American Truths Illegal Aliens Should Understand
After watching 500,000 illegal aliens and advocates protest in
the streets of Los Angles, one fact is abundantly clear:
Illegal aliens are clueless about what it means to live in
America to be be an American.
Illegal aliens, and many legal Hispanic immigrants as well,
need to understand the following 10 essential truths about
America:
*In 1848, The Treaty of Guadeloupe Hidalgo was ratified by both
the US and Mexican Congresses. That Treaty ended any and all
claims Mexico had to land now a part of the United States.
*Native Indians were the original landowners of what is now the
US, until their land was stolen by Mexicans. Any valid “chain
of title” claim thus belongs to Native American Indians, not
Mexicans.
*America is a sovereign nation, totally independent of Mexico.
It has been that way for 158 years and we intend to keep it that
way. Anyone naive enough to advocate repatriation of any US
state or states back to Mexico simply does not fully grasp
American will or might.
*Brown may be beautiful in Mexico. But in the US, we are partial
to colors that symbolize freedom under the rule of law. That
would be Red, White and Blue.
*In America, Mexico is considered a FOREIGN nation and Spanish
is a FOREIGN language.
*Being hard-working and good hearted is commendable. But those
qualities do NOT entitle anyone to enter the US illegally.
*Bilingualism is cool-----provided one of the languages is
English. Literacy in only Mexican and Spanish is not cool in
America.
*Celebrating ones cultural heritage is perfectly fine---as long
as it does not interfere with complete and prompt assimilation
into American culture.
*US immigration laws exist to protect American citizens & others
here legally, not to facilitate a foreigner’s pursuit of a
better life, and
*Those who come to America must adjust to our culture and
traditions. We have no obligation or desire to change our way of
living to accommodate foreign newcomers.
Illegal aliens should take this list with them when they are
deported back to Mexico. Perhaps their removal from the US and
this list will convince other Mexicans considering invasion to
think again---or for the first time!

Pray For Amnesty"--- Political Fraud or Spiritual Folly?
This time, catholic liberal extremists have gone way too far. I
refer to the “Pray for Amnesty” scam pushed by Catholic clergy
to influence congressional votes on immigration reform.
What chutzpa! Only a spiritual elitist would seek divine
intervention on behalf of 20 million criminals who have
literally broken into America and who steal public services paid
for, and intended for use by, REAL Americans.
Only an out-of-touch, “spiritually gifted” priest would ignore
homeland security, rule of law, and the general well-being of
the American people in order to advocate for people who have no
legal, moral or other basis for being here.
Seems to me, Catholics and Democrats are on the wrong side of
the illegal alien issue for the same basic reason: Both are no
longer able to appeal to mainstream Americans, and both face
short-term extinction unless millions of poor and gullible
people are found to replace citizens no longer fooled by their
double-talk.
But where can Catholics and Democrats find millions of poor,
gullible people to exploit? In the illegal alien community, of
course!

We are now down to the final 5 days of our conservative Republican campaign for
Congress and we are moving forward with tremendous success.
Polls show we have pulled to a statistical tie for the lead. And that wouldn’t
have happened without your repeated support and contributions.
In these final 5 days we know MoveOn.org and Howard Dean’s Democracy for
America will dump more money into our Democrat opponent’s campaign. Liberal
activist Arianna Huffington just hosted a fundraiser for the anti-war liberal
candidate, Francine Busby.
So now you know what our opponents are doing. I hate having to keep ask my
supporters for financial contributions, but we simply cannot allow the other
side to win this race because they tried harder.
Please help us maintain the momentum so we can secure victory.

In the beginning, God...
A Review of the Beginning
by
Rob Hood
Many conversations involving religion, science, and politics are going right now in America. One that truly intrigues me in the Intelligent Design Movement versus the Evolution Theory. I have been reading a book by Grant R. Jeffrey called Creation: Remarkable Evidence of God’s Design. Like all of his books this one is truly amazing.
The most memorable part of the book is where the author talks about what I and many other Christians have been saying all along which is simply the double mindedness of people who call themselves a Christian. These people who say they follow and trust Christ have a different approach to Creation. How can someone believe in God, yet dismiss the very first book of the Holy Bible? This is double-mindedness which simply means that someone believes in two things that contradict each other.
It is widely believed that Moses wrote the Book of Genesis. Look at what Jesus says about this in John 5:47 : “If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?” In other words Jesus was saying “If you don’t believe in one part how can you believe in another?”
In his excellent book, Mr. Jeffrey portrays Creation from a scientific yet Christian standpoint using DNA technology, and many other forms of study like astronomy, chemistry, and geology as a means to put God’s creation in the spotlight. The chapter on the Collapse of Evolution could not have been explained any better.
I urge everyone who is a true conservative Christian to pick up a copy of this book and join in the culture war by engaging the enemy in the battle for truth by Divine Creation. The name of the book again is Creation: Remarkable evidence of God’s Design by Grant R. Jeffrey. For more information about the book and the author, go to www.grantjeffrey.com .

Populism to Fascism...
The Federal Reserve: From Populism to Fascism
By Thomas E. Brewton
Created in response to Populist pressure for decentralization of financial
power, the Fed after 1931 became a tool of Fascist-style state corporatism.
-------------------
The Federal Reserve System’s creation in 1913 and its changing role reflect the
major shifts in the nation’s political thinking in the first half of the 20th
century. The Federal Reserve was intended to decentralize and facilitate
credit availability for businesses in different regions of the nation, but it
became in the 1930s an instrument to consolidate Federal control over the
nation’s banking system and thereby to control the economy.
President Woodrow Wilson’s New Nationalism of 1913 was a program to break up
concentrations of economic power in order to level the playing field for small
businesses and individuals. In a speech in 1911, Wilson had said, “The plain
fact is that control of wealth is dangerously concentrated.… The great
monopoly in this country is the money monopoly.… The growth of the nation,
and all our activities, are in the hands of a few men...”
Congress’s Pujo Committee, from 1911 until 1913, had documented the complaints
of farmers and small businessmen in the hinterlands: control of the nation’s
banking credit and its major industries was heavily concentrated in Wall
Street, in the hands of banks controlled by J. P. Morgan and the Rockefellers.
One of President Wilson’s first priorities was to provide for decentralization
of credit availability and for the issuance of a national paper currency to
replace reliance on bank notes issued by individual banks.
The result was the Federal Reserve System, established in the Owens-Glass Act
of 1913. Twelve regional Federal Reserve Banks in the major economic centers
of the nation were to be owned by their member national banks located in each
region. Nonetheless, it was a Federal system that replaced the central bank
functions exercised unofficially by J. P. Morgan & Co.
Regional Federal Reserve banks could adjust credit availability to suit
regional conditions, and they could issue the new Federal Reserve bank notes,
backed by commercial paper and a 40% gold reserve.
President Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal of 1933 was a horse of a different
color. It was a program to take over management of the national economy in
order to make the Federal government the regulator of people’s food, clothing,
education, health care, and jobs. Its central tenet was that the individualism
of the Bill of Rights and the capitalist system of private property ownership
had failed and had to be replaced by state-planning of the sort that Mussolini
had introduced in Italy with his Fascist state corporatism in the 1920s.
Blow-by-blow details can be found in Dr. Walker F. Todd’s “From Constitutional
Republic to Corporate State: The Federal Reserve Board, 1931-1934,” published
as Monograph Number 51 by the Committee for Monetary Research and Education
(CMRE). To obtain copies, call CMRE President Elizabeth Currier at
704-598-3717.
Dr. Todd writes, “Mussolini believed that the otherwise intractable and
irreconcilable conflict between management or capital or labor could be
resolved, or at least controlled, if they could be brought together in a
“corporation” under state control. Fascism was seen as a way of binding
together the disparate elements of society and thus strengthening the whole,
but it violated an ancient, Aristotelian precept of justice under the Rule of
Law, by tolerating an involuntary conscription or elimination of those inclined
to dissent from this political economy model.”
This is a concise description of New Deal intentions in agriculture, industry,
and banking.
Farm production and prices were regulated by the various new Federal bureaus.
A farmer who produced more than his Federal allotments was imprisoned, even
though the extra production was only for his own family.
The National Industrial Recovery Administration pulled business executives and
labor leaders together under Federal supervision to establish industry “codes”
that fixed prices, production levels, and wage rates. A tailor who charged
less than the prescribed price to press a pair of pants was thrown into jail.
Beginning in 1931 under President Hoover, the Federal Reserve System’s powers
were collectivized in the Federal Reserve Board at the expense of regional
Federal Reserve banks’ powers. The board became a tool to implement
Presidential economic policies.
At Hoover’s urging, the Board organized the National Credit Corporation, a bail-
out agency for troubled banks (establishing the “too big to fail” precedent
that led the Federal government later to bail out Chrysler, Lockheed, and other
companies, as well as conditioning the public for Federal industrial polices to
favor designated industries over others).
Federal Reserve head Eugene Meyer urged re-establishing the War Finance
Corporation (WFC) that had centralized control of the nation’s industries in
World War I. Not altogether coincidentally Meyer later bought control of the
Washington Post and transformed it into a vigorous supporter of liberalism.
The fruit of Meyer’s effort was the Reconstruction Finance Corporation (RFC),
which under Roosevelt was to become the chief financier of the many Federal
agencies to control industrial and agricultural activity. The Federal Reserve
Governor was made chairman of the RFC.
The Reserve Board’s general counsel in 1932 urged nationalizing the chartering,
regulation, and supervision of all banks. Shortly after Roosevelt’s
inauguration in 1933, the Board prepared the framework for the “bank holiday”
closing all banks, in contravention of state and other laws. Senator Carter
Glass informed President Roosevelt that this action was illegal, even under the
World War I legislation it claimed as authority. Roosevelt responded that,
legal or not, he was going to close the banks.
New York’s liberal Republican Congressman Hamilton Fish called Roosevelt’s
action “an American dictatorship based on the consent of the governed without
any violation of individual liberty or human rights.”
The Board then prepared legal work for Roosevelt’s executive order forbidding
“hoarding” gold or gold certificates. This was preliminary to deliberate
action to inflate the currency. A presidential executive order reduced the
gold content of the dollar approximately 50%. Coupling this with action to
make illegal the honoring of contracts requiring payment in gold meant that
lenders overnight lost half the value of their loans outstanding.
At the same time the Fed was instructed to begin “open market” operations to
purchase securities directly from the Treasury, in effect, to manufacture money
with bookkeeping entries.
With the arrival of Mariner Eccles as Fed Governor in 1934, the emphasis of Fed
activities shifted more in the direction of Keynesian economic theories.
Keynes theorized that the cause of the Depression was the “liquidity trap”
resulting from people saving too much money. The way around this problem was
government fiscal policy: spend as much as possible for any purpose whatever
and inflate the currency in the process, thereby stimulating consumer demand.
It didn’t get us out of the Depression, but it remains the liberal theory of
economics to this day.
The Banking Act of 1935 centralized interest-rate-making powers in the Federal
Reserve Board and tightened its grip on regulation of eligible collateral for
discount loans to banks. It is noteworthy that the Board staff member who
drafted legislation for this power-grab was Harvard economics professor and
Keynesian supporter Lauchlin Currie. After World War II, Currie was identified
by Elizabeth Bently and Whittaker Chambers as a Soviet agent.Ê Rather than face
trial here, he sought refuge in Columbia, beyond U.S. repatriational
jurisdiction.

Last year a group of virulent and shameless liberal political activists at the
extremist website, Democratic Underground, called upon the terrorists to
assassinate Move America Forward’s co-founder, Melanie Morgan.
The calls for Melanie’s execution were in response to our trip to Iraq with a
delegation of talk radio hosts on the “Voices of Soldiers” tour.
The Democratic Underground website is run by former Democratic Leadership
Council operative David Allen. The members of the website have called for the
impeachment of President Bush and the arrest of d*** Cheney.
This week they published a list of those in the conservative movement they
despise most. They call it their “Top 10 Conservative Idiots” list. George
Bush was listed at #2. You can imagine how surprised and flattered I felt when
I realized I had been ranked at #1.
If those in the “Blame America First” crowd who call upon U.S. troops to “shoot
their officers” and urge the murder of my good friend (and patriot) Melanie
Morgan find me repugnant, then I shall wear their derision as a badge of
honor.
Our mission now is to ensure that we are victorious in this election. I would
like nothing more than to overcome the attacks from the leftists at Democratic
Underground and MoveOn.org.
Every contribution my campaign receives is being immediately placed on the air
in the form of additional radio and TV commercials. Won’t you please help me
obtain victory over the “Bash America” crowd and overcome their attacks?
I’m hoping to rally the support of thousands of conservatives across this country who might be able to contribute $50 or $100 (or even just $25) to go online and make a contribution now: http://www.kaloogian.com/contribute
You may make a contribution via mail:

Child Support Gold-Diggers
by Carey Roberts
Laws that protect the fairer sex from rape, domestic violence, and sexual
harassment all rest on a simple assumption: women who claim to be victims are
almost always telling the truth. Maybe it’s time to revisit that belief.
Three weeks ago the National Center for Men filed a lawsuit on behalf of Matt
Dubay, 25, who claims his girlfriend repeatedly assured him that she was unable
to get pregnant. When she later bore a child, the state of Michigan went after
Mr. Dubay for child support.
That’s what people used to call entrapment.
But chivalrous pundits rose to defend the honor of this damsel in distress,
dubbing Mr. Dubay a “sexual predator,” “deadbeat dad,” and – horrors!—a “
weasel.” And if you happen to believe that men should be shouldered with the
responsibilities and women enjoy all the rights, their criticisms certainly
ring true.
Recently That’s Life! magazine polled 5,000 women and asked them if they would
lie to get pregnant. Two-fifths of the women – 42% to be exact – said “yes,”
according to NCM’s Kingsley Morse.
Yikes!
But that was just a hypothetical survey. Women would never stick it to a man
they actually knew. Or would they?
Consider the paternity scam. Here’s how it works:
Find any dim-witted man to get you pregnant. Then look up the name of some
unsuspecting Joe who’s got a steady job – it doesn’t matter that you never met
the poor bloke. Put his name on the baby’s birth certificate.
Now cross your fingers and hope the man is out of town when the sheriff
delivers the papers. In California, such default judgments account for 70% of
paternity decisions, according to a 2003 study by the Urban Institute.
Or defraud one of your previous boyfriends, assuming he’s a good breadwinner,
of course. That’s what happened to Carnell Smith of Georgia, who willingly
assumed financial responsibility for a child, shelling out more than $40,000 in
child support over an 11-year period. But when the mother went to court to up
the payments, Smith requested genetic testing. That’s when he learned, to his
great surprise, that he wasn’t the girl’s father.
Stung by the injustice, Mr. Smith founded Citizens Against Paternity Fraud, [http://paternityfraud.com/pf_fight_back.html] a group that works to protect men from being cheated by these modern-day Welfare Queens.
Last year Michael Gilding, sociology professor at Swinburne University in
Australia, reviewed studies from around the world, and concluded that 1-3% of
children were fathered by someone other than the man who believes he’s the
daddy.
Let’s run the math. Four million children are born in the United States each
year. Using the mid-range 2% figure, that means 80,000 men become victims of
paternity fraud.
Yikes again!
Ready for the next scam?
This one involves false allegations of domestic violence. Each year, one
million restraining orders are issued that serve to evict a person – usually a
man—from his own home.
Restraining orders have become so commonplace that family lawyers refer to them
as silver bullets, slam-dunks, or simply, “divorce planning.” It has been
estimated that one-third of those orders are requested as a legal ploy in the
middle of a divorce proceeding. Not only are the orders easy to get, in many
states a restraining order automatically bans a father from gaining joint
custody of his children. [www.mediaradar.org/docs/VAWA-Threat-to-Families.pdf]
So the restraining order granted on the flimsy grounds that he caused “
emotional distress” becomes the woman’s meal ticket to many years of child
support payments. Prosecutors never go after persons who commit perjury,
anyway.
And state welfare agencies don’t get upset either, because the federal Office
for Child Support Enforcement reimburses 66% of the costs of states’ child
support enforcement activities. Think of it as a bounty payment for deleting
daddies.
So let’s see...… 42% of women admit they would lie to get pregnant. Each year
80,000 non-biological fathers become victims of paternity fraud. And about
300,000 restraining orders are issued in the middle of a divorce.
Assume a father so defrauded finds himself on the hook for $250 a month for
each of his children. Over an 18-year period, that comes out to a cushy
$54,000, all legally-enforceable, tax-free, and no strings attached.
In the past the American legal system was guided by the rule, “No person shall
benefit from their own wrong-doing.” But now, hundreds of thousands of women
replace that dictum with the self-indulgent excuse: “Get while the getting is
good.”

Katie Couric...
By John Lillpop, California
Am I Supposed to Care About Katie Couric? If So, Why?
I confess to having an underdeveloped appreciation of pop art
and contemporary personalities. Which may explain why I am
perplexed by the media madness over Katie Couric.
This slightly plump, younger version of Martha Stewart
supposedly rocked the world today by announcing her move from
NBC to CBS.
Couric said the following: “I wanted to tell all of you
........that after listening to my heart and my gut—two
things that have served me pretty well in the past—I’ve
decided I’ll be leaving ‘Today’ at the end of May.”
After hearing those shocking words, my first reaction was:
Couric has too little heart and too much gut! My second
reaction: Who in the hell cares whether this sawed-off leftist
pollutes the air with her liberal bias from NBC, CBS, or XYZ?
On my TV, NBC is channel 4 and CBS is channel 5, so its not
really that big a move. Why all the fuss?
Besides, my aging brain is already overloaded with updates about
illegal immigration, Cynthia McKinney, Mexican flags, Tom Delay,
Iran, Iraq, global warming, levees in New Orleans, new hurricane
season, riots in France, riots in LA, Hammas and the Jews, gay
rights, abortion, Barry Bonds, Ariel Sharon, and on and on and
on.
How is Couric’s move from NBC to CBS more important than any
other BREAKING NEWS! shoved down my throat(primarily by me)
every day?
Which is not too say I know anything about Couric. In fact, the
only time I watched her for move than three seconds was when the
battery on my remote died. Rather than getting up, I grimmaced
and promised to Immediately forget everything she said.
Most puzzling is Couric’s $15 million per year salary. As far
as I know, she does not sing, dance or do stand-up comedy.
Frontal nudity is a no-no after Janet Jackson’s “wardrobe
malfunction” at the 2004 Super Bowl.
So, how in the hell does Katie Couric earn $15 million a year?
She has a nice smile, they say. People like her.
I have a nice smile. People don’t particularly like me,
but with $15 million a year to spend, I am sure I could bribe a
few to say they do.

The Greater Crime...
Tom Delay’s surrender to the grim reaper of partisan politics
has liberals perfectly giddy with glee, and in the mood to
party. Those liberals are being joined by more than just a few
Republicans who, repulsed by the foul odor of looming minority
status, have offered celebratory toasts as well.....in private,
of course.
However, Delay’s BREAKING NEWS! descent into political hell may
soon be pushed off the front pages if Rep. Cynthia McKinney gets
what she so richly deserves: A free ride in a Capitol Police
squad car for mug shots and booking!
Hopefully, the Angry Liberal will be handcuffed. Gagging her
would add an appropriate air of law and order to the scene, but
is probably asking a bit much given her constitutional right to
make a complete fool of herself.
Say what you will about Delay: Crooked, corrupt, power-mad,
arrogant. And those are his positive qualities!
But at least Delay has not resorted to walk-by violence against
a cop charged with protecting US Congress folk. Only an airhead
like Cynthia McKinney would do so AND then claim victimization
at the hands of the officer who was simply doing his job.
How goofy is McKinney? Even Nancy Pelosi, potential Screecher
of the House, can’t tolerate McKinney’s childish behavior. When
someone as wacked- out as Nancy Pelosi thinks you have gone
bonkers, baby you got problems----big ones!
To his everlasting credit, Delay regained a bit of
respectability by announcing that he will file an ethics
complaint against the Angry Liberal.
Good for you, Tom. It’s sort of like the “Pot Calling the
Kettle Black,” with no racial implications intended, but at
least your heart is in the right place.

The Fight
The Struggle for Christian America
by
Rob Hood
America has a rich heritage an culture of religion and Christianity has dominated America as the majority religion ever since the country was founded. While there have been disagreements and struggles down through the years between denominations and traditional beliefs, for the most part, the religion of Christianity has been more than accepted. It has been embraced.
Within the past 50 years there has been somewhat a conflict against morality and Biblical teachings of an absolute right and wrong. There has been conflict between mankind ever since the Garden of Eden in Genesis and there always will be until Jesus comes again to regain His throne in Jerusalem. However, Satan never gives up. He uses whatever powers and deceptions that he can to gain himself power by robbing God of what He created.
Those who are seeking Christianity to disappear into the abyss are sadly blinded. Right now they are winning the battle, but they will surely lose the war. The battle I speak of is not just of America. The war against Christianity is happening all over the world. Osama Bin laden hates Christians. Saddam hates them. Iran hates us as well, but there are people right here in our own country that would gladly sell America’s heritage over to a foreign power (UN or EU) to rid themselves of us pesky Christians that they claim are forcing our beliefs on them.
The ACLU has built a factory of war machines used to destroy the sovereignty, heritage, and traditions of our great land. They have an endless assembly line of high dollar self-righteous lawyers devoted to demoralizing and demonizing America and everything it stands for. The ACLU is one of many corrupt organizations that are doing more harm than good to our freedom of religion. Planned Parenthood should put away their disguise as angels and pick up the machete that they use to kill unborn children with so that they will as least give an accurate representation of what they really stand for - the murderous rampage of illegitimate unborn children!!!
Hollywood and the news media doesn’t do us any good either. Hollywood has literally brainwashed American youth into an “anything goes, if it feels good do it” society in which right and wrong no longer exist. Evil is replaced by self-righteousness and everyone is good. They refuse to read into the truth. they deny evil exists and act as if they are God instead of made by God. Money is today’s Baal idol to be worshipped all thanks to Hollywood and the wonderful media.
We live in a society in which people would rather soak up their own pleasures of sinful greed than liberate a starving country overrun by dictators and hellbound madmen in masks of blood waving machine guns and shouting “DEATH TO AMERICA! KILL THE INFIDELS!” People in this country should be ashamed to show their face for their greed such as this. They are too consumed in Money (the economy) to care about national security and the existence of freedom for others.
We truly live in a culture of death. People here say that it is o.k. to suck he brains out of a human child from the mothers womb, but scream bloody murder if you yell at dog for barking in the night or put a horse to sleep because it broke its leg. We have people here that would rather see a woman die (Terri Schiavo) of starvation than to live. Liberals here always talk about feeding hungry children but see no shame in murdering an unborn child or starving a grown woman to death.
Lately a liberal group says that abstinence programs violate a UN treaty. Since when do we follow what the UN says about things like this? When we do start I had might as well be put in jail because I will not be ruled by a foreign court! My country is America. I speak English, and I go by the United States Constitution and by the law of God which is the Holy Bible and it don’t matter what the UN, the EU or anyone else says, they do not hold the power or authority to challenge the laws of God. Period! Abstinence is plainly righteous and we have every right to teach it. Don’t like it? Fine. Don’t listen. For as long as sexual immorality, perversion, lustful fantasies, and evil acts of sex outside of Biblical Marriage relationship is being taught by liberal condom pushers in schools, people like me are going to continue to fight it with every ounce of energy we have in our body until the day we die.
We now live in what we call a free country, but it is ever increasingly hostile towards people of faith because of extremist groups like the ACLU. Because of these communist groups, public prayer in the name of Jesus is forbidden. The Public display of the Ten Commandments is forbidden. Christmas itself has been renamed by the left. Now these same knuckleheads want to sabotage the Pledge of Allegiance and our national motto. They can try any little silly trick they want this ole boy refuses to bow down to their false idols of pagan Satanism. I WILL say “under God” when I say the pledge of Allegiance whether they like it or not. I WILL place “In God We Trust” on my money and check if I have write it on there with a pen whether they like it or not. I will pray in the name of Jesus Christ the Creator and sustainer no matter what a judge says. He has no authority over God whether he thinks he does or not. The thing is that we have to be like this or be overrun by liberal madmen that want our rights gone.
We in America have become like Israel in the Old Testament. We worship Baal (idols - money, etc.)as our God, ignore the laws of God, and have shunned all good in exchange for corruption, evil, and self-righteousness which ultimately leads to national destruction. Every nation that has ever strayed from God has been destroyed in one way or another. We have shunned God’s chosen people Israel in hopes of peace that will never happen. That’s what happens when you elect leaders that don’t know the teachings of the Bible. Every nation that has helped the enemies of Israel has failed miserably and has usually been destroyed completely. We need to show more compassion to Israel , not more failed policies.
We have a major problem here in America. People just do not get how serious the situation really is. We have crazed madmen our there telling our children that God is a fairy tale, the Garden of Eden never existed, and creation never happened. They are teaching our children that we derived from apes or evolved over millions of years. What garbage! How do we expect our children to grow up believing in God and obeying the laws of God when they are not taught by the parents to ignore these false doctrines? Yes, Satan has a very clever mind indeed. Evolution. What a deception! What a way to deceive many. What a way to pull people away from God. My dear readers don’t think for one minute that theses teachers are going to have it easy. One day they will stand before a righteous judge and they will have to give an account of why they taught people that God was not real. The fate of millions rest on those who teach these things. You see. These so called scientists are leading people away from Christ, not toward Him and the consequences of leading astray millions will be on their shoulders one day.
My friends, Christianity will not always be persecuted and Israel will not always be attacked and mocked. There is coming a day when those who do not believe will stand before God face to face and give an account as to why they did the things they did and said the things they say. Bin laden, Hitler, Hussein, Stalin, and millions of other will have to give an answer as to why they chose to destroy His chosen people. Not only that my friend, but those who now mock Christ and His followers will one day give an account of their actions. They will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ and plead with Him to enter Heaven and no matter how much good they have done and no matter how hard they pray and plead it will be too late. Jesus will answer “depart from me. I never knew you”. The followers of Christ will be judged also, but not by the same way. We will be judged according to what we have done for Christ.
While I am not a preacher, I may sound like one. I realize that my articles are posted on political sites some of the time, but these things have to be said. People can mock Christ and label him and his followers by whatever name they want but it will not last forever. One day an end is coming and it may very well be coming sooner than we think. The signs of the times are all around us. Israel has once again been called a nation just as the Bible predicted it would in the last days. Wars are going on, famine, natural disasters, and other signs are here. Sure these things have always been here but not at the intensity and scope as they are now.
Any day now the rapture may occur. I am sure glad I am ready for it. As Mr. T would say “I pity the fool” that’s not ready. America has many problems. Some are financial. Some are political. Some are religious and cultural, but none of these problems are as serious as being destroyed for our evil desires and acts. It is imperative that we turn America around and head back to the direction that it was long ago before freedom and Christianity took a hit from foreign influences (1960s hippy influences from Europe). We can do better than what we are doing. I know we can. I have faith that if every Christian in America would stand up and shout “We will not stand for evil and we refuse to take this anymore” and legally force the challengers of reality to a dual by vote, then perhaps the stench of anti-Chistianism might be put out. I urge you to do your part in challenging those who stand against God to change their ways and stand for Him for the sake of their own life, the life of America, and for eternal life to come.

The Truth...
----------------------
From Agape Press,
http://headlines.agapepress.org/archive/4/32006a.asp
Decoding Da Vinci
By Rusty Benson
April 3, 2006
(AgapePress) - What The Passion of the Christ is to Christians and Brokeback
Mountain is to homosexual rights advocates, The Da Vinci Code promises to be to
the foes of Christianity.
“[The novel titled] The Da Vinci Code is one of the most serious attacks on the
church in terms of effectiveness that I’ve seen in my lifetime,” says pastor,
church historian and author James Garlow. “By that I mean it’s an attack on the
Bible itself and the divinity of Christ.”
Though Garlow is referring to the best-selling novel by Dan Brown—over 36
million copies sold since publication in 2003—it’s the upcoming Hollywood
movie that will likely thrust the story into cultural orbit.
With credits that include renowned director Ron Howard and superstar Tom Hanks,
The Da Vinci Code promises to be the kind of big-budget production that will
dominate entertainment buzz this spring. Sony’s Columbia Pictures plans to
release the film nationwide May 19.
Already, the popularity of the novel has caused great consternation among
orthodox Christians. Though it is fiction, Brown not only challenges the
trustworthiness of the Scripture and implicates the Roman Catholic Church in
the biggest cover-up of all time, but so effectively blurs the line between
historical fact and fiction that some readers are sure to come away confused.
Garlow and Peter Jones, director of the organization Christian Witness to a
Pagan Planet, are among numerous Christian writers who have addressed the
historical and theological inaccuracies of The Da Vinci Code. Their book is
titled Cracking Da Vinci’s Code (Victor). Other books aimed at debunking
Brown’s story include The Da Vinci Deception by Erwin W. Lutzer (Tyndale House)
and A Quest For Answers by Josh McDowell (Green Key Books). In addition, Radio
Bible Class offers a shorter treatment on the issue in a free online
publication, The Da Vinci Code: Separating Fact From Fiction. (See links to
resources at conclusion of this article.)
The following summarizes the plot of The Da Vinci Code, then highlights the
books mentioned above.
The Code
The Da Vinci Code is a complex tale of intrigue and conspiracy. Although the
story is fiction, Brown contends the book is historically accurate.
In the movie, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) is called to
untwist the baffling clues and ciphers surrounding the murder of an elderly
curator of the Louvre in Paris. He is joined in the investigation by
cryptologist Sophie Neveu, the curator’s estranged granddaughter.
The investigation uncovers a secret society called the Priory of Sion. The
group, whose members have included Leonardo da Vinci, Issac Newton and Victor
Hugo, guards a secret that, if revealed, would destroy Christianity.
The secret is that, among other things, Jesus was not actually divine but was
voted as such at the Council of Nicaea in 325; He married Mary Magdalene and
the couple had children; and He intended for Mary Magdalene, not the apostles,
to lead the church.
To preserve their version of the “truth” da Vinci and other artists in the
Priory of Sion embedded clues in their art, particularly da Vinci’s The Last
Supper.
Opus Dei, a powerful organization within the Roman Catholic Church, is ready to
use any means, including murder, to insure that the “real” Jesus remains a
secret.
A subtheme is the story’s assertion that the Roman Catholic Church intended to
suppress women and the knowledge that sex is the “sole means through which man
could become spiritually complete and ultimately achieve gnosis—knowledge of
the divine” (The Da Vinci Code, p. 308).
Brown’s theories draw heavily on alternative views of the historic Jesus such
as the Gnostic Gospels and the work of the Jesus Seminar, as well as pagan
beliefs that predate even the Greco-Roman world.
The Da Vinci Deception
The premise of The Da Vinci Code is simple: Jesus was not divine and the Church
is lying.
To prove his case, Brown spins a yarn that reinterprets real and imagined
events including the Council of Nicaea, the search for the Holy Grail, the
development of the Biblical canon, the art of Leonardo da Vinci, and the person
of Mary Magdalene.
In The Da Vinci Deception, Erwin W. Lutzer, author and pastor of Moody Church
in Chicago, convincingly separates fact from fiction in Brown’s book. In a well-
written and brief volume—120 pages, including footnotes—Lutzer clarifies
issues ranging from the veracity of the New Testament to the alleged marriage
of Jesus and Mary Magdalene.
Lutzer defends orthodox Christian doctrine and accepted church history in a way
that is concise and usable, yet adequately detailed.
For example, in debunking Brown’s claims in The Da Vinci Code that Constantine
“upgraded Jesus’ status [to divine] almost three centuries after Jesus’ death”
for political reasons, Lutzer offers a layman’s look at issues faced at the
Council of Nicaea. He follows that with profiles of early church fathers who
were martyred defending the divinity of Jesus, then counters the false claim
that the Council rejected the Gnostic Gospels in favor of Matthew, Mark, Luke
and John—all in only 16 pages.
Cracking Da Vinci’s Code
Garlow and Jones combine narrative and storytelling to reinforce their
contention that Christians should view The Da Vinci Code as a golden
opportunity to engage others with the Gospel.
To that end the authors created a short story of three college friends, Carrie,
Jen and Evan. Their story serves as an effective introduction to each chapter
as well as a real-life model for patiently and persistently dealing with those
who have been influenced by Brown’s novel. In fact, the story of the trio is so
well done that readers may be compelled to complete the book just to find out
what happens to the characters.
In the story that accompanies the narrative, Carrie’s lesbian roommate, Jen,
gives her a copy of The Da Vinci Code to help Carrie understand the roommate’s
homosexuality. When she attends a Da Vinci Code discussion group, Carrie begins
to buy into the book’s agenda.
At the same time she makes an unlikely friendship with a Christian student,
Evan, who patiently and gently challenges her suppositions about The Da Vinci
Code.
One of their early encounters includes this exchange:
“So you’ve fallen into the da Vinci trap, huh?” asked Evan easily as they
walked back from the one class they shared, Conversational French. “Now every
time you see the Mona Lisa, you’re going to wonder if it really is the artist
himself in drag.” He said this in a gentle, mocking manner.
“I couldn’t care less about those parts of the book,” said Carrie, wondering
why she felt it necessary to take a defensive position. “Da Vinci was,
admittedly, an odd duck. What gets me is that what Christians believe about
Jesus is all wrong; but I have a much clearer understanding of Jesus now, after
reading Brown’s book.”
Evan, still smiling replies, “I’m surprised at you, Carrie. Learning theology
from a novel. Next you’ll be telling me that you can prepare for the bar exam
by reading Grisham.”
In the narrative, Garlow and Jones prove themselves competent to crack Brown’s
code. Quoting frequently from the novel, the authors deconstruct its major
themes giving particular emphasis to the issue of sex as a way of gaining
secret knowledge of God
Cracking Da Vinci’s Code also includes end notes and a study guide.
A Quest for Answers
Apparently Josh McDowell, Christian apologist, evangelist and writer, agrees
that fiction is an excellent framework to demystify The Da Vinci Code.
His recently released self-published book, The Da Vinci Code: A Quest for
Answers, is structured as a series of conversations between three fictitious
characters. Unlike Garlow and Jones, McDowell uses his fictional dialogue
without additional narrative.
Although the imaginary discussions are sometimes forced and predictable,
McDowell’s effort overflows with details that break the back of The Da Vinci
Code. Readers of McDowell’s earlier work including the Christian classic,
Evidence That Demands A Verdict, will recognize his thorough and well-
documented apologetic.
The volume runs 102 full-sized pages and includes endnotes, as well as an
extensive bibliography.
Prepare to Engage
Should Christians read The Da Vinci Code and see the movie? Garlow says yes.
“The movie will spark Da Vinci Code conversations everywhere,” he predicts.
“People are going to be talking around the water cooler about the divinity of
Christ. What an opportunity!”
At the same time, Garlow says, Christians must exercise caution for the sake of
their own souls.
“This is a classic case where what the enemy meant for evil, God will use for
good,” he says. “Therefore, I am not focusing on the offensiveness of the book
and movie, but rather on the potential for fulfilling the Great Commission. We
are all missionaries. And as missionaries in this hostile culture, it is our
task to learn their language. And in this case the language is The Da Vinci
Code.”

Not Another Clinton Presidency
By: Nathan Tabor
There are some celebrities who simply cannot bring themselves to shy away from the spotlight—even years after their popularity has faded. Of course, there’s pop singer Britney Spears, who can’t seem to stay out of the tabloids…actor Alec Baldwin, who somehow believes that his political utterances are being followed by millions…and actress Sharon Stone, who’s still making headlines on the Drudge Report long after her movie career faded.
And then there’s Bill and Hillary.
Politics’ number-one odd couple appears to be determined to return to the White House. Pundits talk breathlessly of a Hillary Presidency, with her helpmate Bill serving as the First Man. All the talk for 2008 seems to be focused on Hillary, and will she or won’t she run.
We, as a nation, simply cannot afford another Clinton Presidency—be it male or female. The Clintons’ brand of politics was poison for our country and we cannot run the risk of moving backward at this critical juncture in our nation’s history.
Perhaps most seriously, Bill Clinton helped set the stage for the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil. He had the opportunity to neutralize Osama Bin Laden—and he failed. As a result, he made our country vulnerable to radical extremists determined to inflict as much pain on America as possible.
Then, there’s the issue of Bill Clinton trying to turn the White House into the Playboy mansion. Now that we have a President who’s devoted to his wife and family, it may be hard to remember the days when the Oval Office served as Clinton’s pleasure palace. He disgraced the dignified office of the Presidency—not simply through his extra-marital conquests, but also by lying to government investigators. The Clinton Administration was an “Anything Goes” regime—and one of the first things to go was ethics.
Bill Clinton—the man who dared “to inhale”—set the nation back, as far as the drug war was concerned. Drug use by our young people escalated during the Clinton years. Given the horrendous impact that drugs can have on a family, it’s outrageous that anyone would entertain the notion of bringing a Clinton back to the White House.
Unfortunately, some people are under the illusion that a Hillary White House would be different. After all, we wouldn’t have to worry about Hillary entertaining gentleman suitors when she should be attending to Cabinet meetings. But don’t forget that Senator Hillary is the same Hillary that brought you Whitewater and Travelgate. There’s nothing in the record to suggest that her administration would be any more ethical than her hubby’s was.
Also, believe it or not, I am not convinced that Hillary is the smartest woman in the U.S. In fact, in the intelligence department, I don’t think she holds a candle to Condoleeza. I have also seen nothing in the Senate record to suggest that she is a brilliant stateswoman.
No matter how much Hillary attempts to portray herself as a centrist, she is a liberal through and through. In Hillary’s world, abortion is tantamount to a sacrament; religion is only for the confines of your house; and the ACLU is deserving of a Congressional medal of honor. She has been pushing liberal causes for most of her adult life—and I doubt that would change if she returned to the White House.
The ‘90s are history. I trust that the voters of the 21st century are a great deal smarter than those who risked national security and government ethics to elect Bill Clinton to the White House. We’ve barely recovered from his non-leadership. Let’s not return to those bad old days.

Will Liberals Try to Save Zacarias Moussaoui?
Zacarias Moussaoui, so-called 20th terrorist in the 9/11 attack,
has been found “eligible” to be put to death.
Assuming Moussaoui is actually sentenced to justice by death, it
will be most interesting to watch liberals squirm in confronting
their obvious conflicts.
On the one hand, Democrats are now the party Americans trust
most when it comes to being “Tough on Terrorism.” That image
could suffer a serious blow if liberals get in the way of
executing the only 9/11 terrorist convicted to date.
Terrorist # 20 has the blood of 3,000 innocent Americans on his
hands, and not many of us are likely to be swayed by
traditional liberal arguments.
On the other hand, a basic tenet of liberalism is opposition to
the death penalty, unless the life in question happens to be an
unborn child with no current or projected voting power. But
when it comes to those convicted of ungodly crimes, liberals
will always argue in favor of sparing the guilty, with little or
no regard for victims and their families.
Which liberal argument will prevail? Will liberals argue against
lethal injection based on the “cruel and unusual” provision of
Amendment No. 8? Will anguished hordes of bleeding-hearts hold
teary-eyed vigils on behalf of Moussaoui outside the death
chamber?
Watching liberals double-talk and squirm will make for terrific
entertainment----20 years from now, after defense attorneys have
cost taxpayers millions of dollars by filing senseless appeal
after senseless appeal.
Perhaps prosecutors should implement a different strategy.
To wit: Spread the word that Moussaoui has converted to
Christianity, and then release the killer somewhere in
Afghanistan.
Then, sit back and watch the axes of evil enforce justice
through decapitation!

The Flag...
I Saw The Flag
Today I saw them patiently waiting for help.
With nothing but the clothes on their back.
They had fled the floodwaters of Hurricane Katrina.
And came to our state for relief.
To my amazement what should I see there in the breeze?
But the only possession they held dear to their heart.
It was the American flag and they had put it up.
This said a lot to me.
These people, native Americans, in the land of the free.
That chose to save the flag to wave in the breeze.
Can we do no less to honor them for love?
Sure there are those that protest the war,
and criticize us from afar.
But these people who had nothing else left still waved the flag.
Can we fail to honor that patriotism that did not lag?
Not this American, not on this day or any other day.
This, the flag, that waved proudly and paved their way.

A Helping Hand
These are the final 10 days of our campaign for Congress and I wanted to update
you on where things stand.
We have supporters out walking precincts and calling voters each and every
day. The response has been outstanding!
Our TV and radio advertising has really been taking off! Each day we take the
money our campaign has received and purchase more radio and television
commercials. This has helped us jump ever higher in the polls, which has
really surprised the Washington, D.C. political observers.
I’m calling all my friends to raise another $9,200 in the next 2 days to get
this TV spot below on all the major networks and leading cable stations
starting Monday.
Please watch the TV ad here: http://www.kaloogian.com/video/2
And then help me purchase the airtime to run this ad one time per hour, every
hour on the major TV stations. You can contribute any amount up to $6,300 per
individual, although I’d be grateful for ANY contributions - whether $10, $100
or $1,000 or more.
Contribute online here: http://www.kaloogian.com/contribute

Ignoring What is Right...
News Media Snuggle Up to Ex-Con, But Ignore FISA Judges
by Jim Kouri, CPP
The news media are covering Senate Judiciary Committee hearings on the legality
of the National Security Agency’s terrorist surveillance program—an
intelligence initiative that by-passes the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance
Act—by concentrating on the ramblings of Bush opponents and unsubstantiated
allegations by a former felon and snitch.
Meanwhile reporters neglect—intentionally or unintentionally—reporting on
the testimony of people who have opinions backed by qualifications and
expertise. So once again, the elite media are being selective in what they
report and whom they choose to quote.
An example is disgraced Nixon White House counsel John Dean stating before the
committee on Friday that President George W. Bush’s domestic spying program
raised more concerns about abuse of power than the Watergate scandal that
toppled his boss Richard Nixon. Quite a statement coming from a guy who broke
the law and snitched out his co-workers to save his own skin from even more
prison time. Leave it to the Democrat Party and the mainstream news media to
snuggle up to an ex-con. They would
fawn over a child rapist if he uttered something negative about President Bush.
Dean, who served time in prison for his role in Watergate, testified before the
Senate Judiciary Committee on behalf of a Democrat-led bid to censure Bush for
the eavesdropping program that is part of his war on terrorism. It doesn’t
matter that John Dean has no experience in counter-terrorism, criminal law or
even constitutional law. The man was a legal hack for the Nixon
Administration.
“I appear today because I believe, with good reason, that the situation is even
more serious [than Watergate],” Dean said.
There’s no coincidence that Dean authored a book titled “Worse than Watergate,”
which slams the Bush administration as obsessed with politics and secrecy. Of
course, the book isn’t doing well because no one really cares what some ex-
convict who’s far from being a Bush insider has to say.
Republicans have called the censure resolution a political stunt, while many
Democrats have distanced themselves from it as they jockey for position on the
issue of national security and near the November congressional elections,
according to Reuters wire service. In other words, the Democrats hate Bush, but
they hate losing elections even more and the key to winning is to con Americans
into believing they really care about national security.
Sen. Russ Feingold (D-WI), whom Reuters described as a “maverick” politican,
offered the censure resolution this month. He charged that without getting
court approval, Bush violated the law by secretly ordering the program to
listen to phone conversations with suspected Al-Qaeda members outside the
country. Feingold is attempting to score Brownie points with the far-left
wackadoos in his party.
The Reuters story, which is picked-up by hundreds of news organizations, wrote
the following:
“Committee Chairman Arlen Specter, a Pennsylvania Republican, began the hearing
by declaring that the resolution has no merit.
“‘But it provides a forum for discussion,’ said Specter.
“Like many members of the US Congress, Specter has voiced concerns about the
program that monitors overseas phone calls and e-mails of U.S. citizens while
in pursuit of Al- Qaeda.”
Now here’s the part that was overlooked by Reuters and other news organizations:
Five former FISA Court judges told the US Senate Judiciary Committee on
Wednesday that, with regards to the NSA communique intercept program, President
Bush acted within the law. The judges also said that the FISA Court does not
have the Constitutional right to override this presidential authority,
according to syndicated columnist Sher Zieve.
According to Zieve, former FISA Court Judge Allan Kornblum advised the
Judiciary Committee that if President Bush so opts, he has the authority to act
unilaterally and without FISA court review.
Judge Kornblum added: “If a court refuses a FISA application and there is not
sufficient time for the president to go to the court of review, the president
can under executive order act unilaterally, which he is doing now.”
Judge Kornblum also said that it would have been negligent of President Bush to
have deferred his authority to the FISA court and commented: “I think that the
president would be remiss exercising his constitutional authority by giving all
of that power over to a statute.” Four other former judges from the FISA court
concurred with Kornblum.
Now how did our men and women of the press miss those tidbits?
The news media breathlessly report the comments of a second-rate lawyer, ex-
convict and snitch as if it were newsworthy, but the opinions of judges who
actually sat on the FISA court deserved to be ignored. The news media aren’t
left-wing lapdogs for the Democrats. Right?

The Clinton/Carter Topic...
O’Contraire: Why Jimmy Carter is worse than Bill Clinton
by Daniel Clark
Back in 1993, P.J. O’Rourke wrote an essay entitled, “50+ Reasons Why Jimmy
Carter Was a Better President Than Bill Clinton.” I agreed with it at the time,
but now I demand a recount. Little did O’Rourke know then that Carter was about
to embark on a megalomaniacal campaign to become a “great ex-president,”
inspired by the outpouring of admiration for Richard Nixon upon his death in
1994.
As long former president Carter’s reputation is being revised, it might as well
be done accurately. To that end, here’s a list to rebut Mr. O’Rourke’s, by
explaining why Jimmy Carter is even worse than Bill Clinton.
* Clinton is only one draft-dodger, but Carter pardoned them all.
* If Clinton’s brother marketed his own beer, it would probably be pretty good.
* The atrocious Agreed Framework with North Korea was Carter’s idea. Clinton
only signed it out of his characteristic lack of conviction.
* As childish as Clinton can be about many things, at least he doesn’t tell
people to call him Billy.
* Carter brought Walter Mondale within a heartbeat of the presidency. Clinton
banished him to Japan.
* Clinton helped the Democrats lose control of the House of Representatives for
the first time in forty years, whereas all of Carter’s ineptitude was not
enough to dislodge Speaker Tip O’Neill.
* Unlike James Earl Carter, William Jefferson Clinton does not share the first
two names of a famous assassin.
* When Clinton acts as a tool for despotic foreign governments, at least he’s
smart enough to get something out of the deal for himself.
* Carter sat with Michael Moore at the 2004 Democratic National Convention.
Clinton has managed to keep Moore at a safe distance, tempted though he may be
by the filmmaker’s alluring scent, Essence of Scrapple.
* Clinton is capable of smiling, and even laughing, albeit under completely
inappropriate circumstances.
* Carter beat on a poor, defenseless rabbit with a long, heavy oar. Clinton
summoned up the courage to take a poke at d*** Morris with his bare hands.
* While it’s true that Clinton never held a job outside of government until
after his presidency, that just means that he’s not one of those dastardly Big
Nut profiteers, like Carter.
* Clinton once insulted the Chancellor of Germany. It was unintentional, but
still, it’s got to count for something.
* There must be some reason that the late Mrs. Roosevelt socializes with
Hillary, but not Rosalynn.
* Nobody has ever given Carter a colorful nickname like “Slick Willie” or “The
Big Creep.”
* Clinton thinks malaise is a condiment.
* Carter once gave an interview to Playboy magazine. Clinton had the good taste
not to read it.
* Clinton may have given us way too much information about his own wardrobe,
but he didn’t presume to tell anyone else to put on a dorky sweater.
* Carter takes an unseemly amount of pride in publicizing his charitable work
with Habitat for Humanity. Clinton, on the other hand, would probably have
preferred to keep his tax deduction for donating his used underwear a secret.
* Clinton cheats on his golf scorecards, but if Carter were officiating, he’d
certify them.
* Carter gave away the Panama Canal for nothing. Clinton could have sold the
Panamanians land they already owned, at a handsome profit.
* If Clinton ever sought Chelsea’s advice about nuclear war, he was discreet
enough not to admit it on national television.
* Carter’s defiling the White House with solar panels produced less energy than
Clinton did by chasing interns on a treadmill.
* Madeleine Albright has a better poker face than Carter’s secretary of state,
Ed Muskie did.
* With Clinton as Commander-in-Chief, we knew we’d be safe if America was
invaded by an army of six year-old Cuban children.
* Carter turned off the Christmas lights at the White House, without the ACLU
having even demanded it.
* Clinton has not yet undermined America sufficiently to be awarded a Nobel
Prize.
* Unlike Carter, who boycotted the Olympics, Clinton held them in a room
adjacent to the Oval Office.
* Carter has never been gallant enough to help a girl out with her testimony.
* Clinton’s library has more interesting pop-up books.
* Carter admitted to lusting in his heart, but he did not admit to lusting for
a mummified corpse, like Clinton did. What is he, necrophobic?
* Toni Morrison declared Clinton to be America’s first black president. Not
only didn’t she say that about Carter, but white people haven’t been eager to
claim him either.
* At least Clinton has a distinguishing characteristic.
The ball’s in your court, Mr. O’Rourke.

The Real American Way...
The American Way: Mobs in the Streets
By Thomas E. Brewton
Ralph Neas’s “People For The American Way” wants us to follow the path of
France’s revolutionary socialism: let street mobs determine national policy.
Mexican illegals are their acolytes.
-------------------
The "Who We Are” page of People For The American Way displays a portrait of the organization’s president Ralph Neas, who is quoted: “We’re fighting to maintain and expand 50 years of legal and social justice progress that right-wing leaders are trying to dismantle. We won’t let them turn back the clock on our rights and freedoms.”
Social justice, of course, is code for socialism’s basic remedy for society’s
ills, that is, to redistribute income in order to make everyone equally poor
and thereby entirely dependent upon the collectivized welfare-state. This is
the “50 years” of progress that actually commenced 75 years ago with Franklin
Roosevelt’s New Deal.
The People For The American Way’s ideal society is that of the feckless and
clueless multitudes in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, who were so
enervated by generations of welfare dependency that they knew only to sit down
and wait until the government came to feed, clothe, and house them.
How are the liberals to attain this Nirvana? Our clue is the web page’s
headline “Taking Action to Defend Democracy,” which features photographs of
street mobs waving placards with their demands.
The essential political innovation of socialism was using propaganda to foment
street mobs that intimidate politicians and may even lead to violent
revolution. Evanescent and volatile public opinion is to become the standard
for political action. Established law, history, and tradition are to be cast
aside as decadent conservatism.
Forty plus years of pamphleteering by France’s revolutionary philosophers
culminated in the July 14, 1789, mobs rampaging through the streets of Paris
and hanging government officials and Catholic priests from the lampposts. This
revered and glorious tradition is now on display for the many-thousandth time,
with the student and labor union protests against new employment regulations.
It’s the French way to legislate.
If it’s good enough for their socialist forebears, why not for the followers of
John Kerry, Teddy Kennedy, Charles Schumer, Hillary Clinton, and Nancy Pelosi?
Why not for the Mexican illegals?
In neither case does established law and clearly defined Constitutional
principle figure into the process. It’s just a matter of what liberals think
the law ought to be. It’s just a matter of how much opinion-poll pressure
people like Ralph Neas can foment.
