A Prayer Before Staring Work

A PRAYER BEFORE STARTING TO WORK

My Heavenly Father, as I enter in this work place, I bring your presence with me. I speak your peace, your grace, your mercy, and your perfect order into this office. I acknowledge your power over all that will be spoken, thought, decided, and done within these walls. Lord, I thank you for the gifts you have blessed me with. I commit to using them responsibly in your honor. Give me a fresh supply of strength to do my job. Anoint my projects, ideas, and energy; so that even my smallest accomplishment may bring you glory. Lord, when I am confused, guide me. When I am weary, energize me. When I am burned out, infuse me with the light of the Holy Spirit. May the work I do and the way I do it bring faith, joy, and a smile to all that I come in contact with today; and, oh, Lord when I leave this place, give me your traveling mercy. Bless my family and home to be in order as I left it. Lord, I thank you for everything you’ve done, everything you’re doing and everything you’re going to do. In the name of Jesus I pray. AMEN!

Judges - Its all about abortion!

Judge Roberts’ nomination to the supreme court by President Bush is raising issues on the left and on the right. Feminist groups who support abortion are aginst him because of his past pro-life views and decisions. Groups that are pro-life are somewhat for him at this time, but still are not 100 % for him becuase his records are still not openly known at this time. His past decisions and cases will possibly come up soon in the Senate confirmaion hearings which will be, I suspect, will be brutal at best. Members of the left are already attacking him and his wife. If he is pro-life, so what? Does the President not have a right to choose who he wants? He was elected to do that and has every right to do so. Does he not? I guess we will just have to wait and see how far the left will go to keep him off of the supreme court.

Churches are still targets!

It never fails in this day in agae that a church cannot even have a decent program without someone getting offended and screaming hatred to some - mostly to the pastor! This happened in Florida and is still happening all over America. Gay rights activists are really pushing their agenda to legalize same-sex marriage and convince Bible believing Christians that their “lifestyle” is a normal way of living when we all know that it is sin. Click on this to see a dramatic story of church persecution again:

Persecution is still high in America!

The ACLU of North Carolina is now trying to sue the state over the “Holy Scriptures” used for oath taking during court. This is another method of the ACLU trying t silence Christianity in America.

We must keep in mind that as Chrisitans we are being alienated by the media and certain left wing groups who want the mention of God removed from the public and we must continue to resist if we want to keep our freedoms and liberties as we have them now. One place or website that I have found and now submit articles to is The Conservative Voice. This is a website that should be of interest for conservatives and Christians who have a common goal of preserving our heritage and I recommend this site to anyone .

MAN - The poem

MAN

Three monkeys sat in a coconut tree
discussing as they used to be,
said one to the other, now listen you two
there’s a certain rumor that can’t be true,
that man descended from our noble race
the very idea is a disgrace.
No monkey ever deserted his wife,
starved her babies, and ruined her life.
and you’ve never seen a monk to leave her
babies with others’ to bunk,
or pass them on from one to another,
till they scarcely know their mother
and another thing you will never see,
a monkey building a fence around a coconut tree,
and let the coconuts go to waste,
forbidding other monkeys to taste.
Why, if you put a fence around a tree,
starvation would force you to steal from me!
Here’s another thing a monkey won’t do, go out at night
and get in a stew, or use a gun, a club, or a knife,
To take some other monkey’s life.
Yes, man descended, the ornery cuss, but
brother he didn’t descend from us.

WE must remain be strong and win!

Today another terrorist attack happened in London, though it was a relatively small attack. Nevertheless, we must continue to battle terrorism and its roots where we can so that a radical militant form of Islam is not imbedded into our own society. We must remain strong, keep the faith, fight the terrorists whever they hide, and at all costs, must never give in to the demands of foreign fighters who seek to destroy democracy and freedom.

Good News for pro-lifers.

Today President Bush has announced his nomination for Supreme Court.  Judge John Roberts who is a pro-life supporter was nominated. This is great news for anyone who is against abortion on demand. A great prolife website is National Right to Life found by clicking here: www.nrlc.org

We are all human

Today we live in a world riddled with sin of every kind and we must learn to love and respect each other better. If we loved our neighbor as ourselves as the Bible says, crime would not exist.  If you loved your nighbor would you rob him, kill, him, or cheat him? My message is that we are all human created by the same God and he commands us to obey His laws to love one another.

Holy War in Canada

I could not bellieve my eyes when I read about Canada considering changing or even removing verses from the Bible that condemn homosexuality. If this occurs, Canada may see an uprising - maybe even a Holy War or a civil war. Over 600,000 have already protested the legalization of same-sex marriage in Canada. God forbid we even consider the possibility in the United States.

Mississippi does good on pro-life and pro-God.

It’s good to know, from a Christian’s standpoint anyway, that Mississippi is actually one of the most anti-abortion states in the union. Eighty-six percent of Mississippi is free of abortion clinics. Mississippi also has adopted a “conscience clause” which allows any health care provider to refuse to provide abortion-related services, including referrals, to those wanting an abortion.

Mississippi also only has one abortion clinic left in the state. Earlier this year, the Governor of Mississippi, Haley Barbour, reccommended and by way of votes in the House and Senate, got full protection of the Ten Commandments being posted in public as well as references to Jesus.  An amendment was passed to protect these things.

I guess that Mississippi is not so bad after all - that is- if you are a conservative Christian.

NARAL Against Right

It is quite unfortunate to hear that NARAL, a well known left wing pro-abortion activist group,
is throwing a party in opposition to President Bush’s Abstinence program which I personally hold as a very high position morally. The President made a very good decision to teach moral decency to young children and youth instead of sex education like most left wing extremists like the National Education Association would normally do. The Bible teaches that we are to remain sexually pure until marrige. Thank God we have leadership who follows the Lord’s instructions.

An opposition to the ACLU

I looked at a very inspiring website today for those who might disagree with the infamous ACLU who has attacked Christianity from all sides. The website I am talking about is www.stoptheaclu.com I lists the history of the ACLU and what it really stands for. I recommend it to anyone who is truly concerned about religious freedom or simply freedom in general as well.

The Tale not told

In March, I found out that there was a story about a T-Rex bone found which is nothing unusual. What was so strange was the fact that when the bone was cut in half in order to better transport it, a watery substance ran out. There was tissue still there preserved after so long.

Our scientist tell us that these bones were 65 million years old yet other scientists have a young Earth theory that coincides with the story of creation told in the Bible. Evoltion scientists were baffled about why this substance lasted so long. Maybe, creationsits were on to something and at long last had their evidence to back up creation. For more on this story go to www.answersingenesis.org

The search

I was looking for several websites yesterday when I happened to think of searching for information about Noah’s Ark. I don’t know what made me think think of it, but I ran a search on Google and found an interesting site about this subject. I know that when I was in Ohio in May, I was talking late one night with one of my colleagues in the hotel about politics and religion when we started discussing archeological finds that backed up stories from the Bible and contradicted modern theories. We both agreed that the Turks and Russians will not let scientists try to unearth the Ark on Mt. Ararat in Turkey. We know that if the Ark is found and excavated, then that will be ultimate proof that the Bible indeed was right about the great flood. Stories of this flood seem to be told by virtually every culture on the planet. There are variates, of course, to this story, but all agree that there was a flood and one family survived. Maybe one day, the Turks will change their minds and we will all get to see the Ark of Noah.

Remaining strong

We must remain vigilant and strong in the wake of the newest terrorist attacks on our friends and allies. It is absolutely vital that we stand firm against radical Islamics terrorists who would kill any of us in a heartbeat if given the opportunity.  That’s why it is so important that we stay the course in Iraq and not give in to pressures that aid these extremists. Giving in would only strenghen thier resolve and slow our progress of freedom for all. These terrorists hate Christians, hate America, hate Israel, and more than anything, they hate freedom and democracy. Instead they would rather impose a social order that would date us back to the dark ages where one ruler had ultimate power and authority over his people, and where women were treated as animals. Children were slave workers, and everyone had to bow to a God that they were not familiar with or else die for treason. We cannot let these extremists win this war and we certainly cannot let these terrorists obtain a nuclear, biological, or chemical weapon. They would indeed use it without hesitation just to see freedom die. Right now what the American people need more than anything is to pray to God for protection and for thankfulness for His many belssing on our nation. With that in mind, I hope that you follow me in doing so.

Supreme Court battle

As we all know by now there is avacancy on the supreme court and could be one or two more soon. Conservatives and liberals are both spending money and raising money to persuade Bush to choose a judge to their liking. One side wants a pro-choice, pro-gay rights judge while the other wants a pro-life, pro-family and Christian judge. As the time nears we will see what kind of judge is picked, but until then, we can expect heated debates about this. It’s all over the internet and talk radio and all in the news. I personally reccommend this website for references to conservive judges versus liberal judges:

Independence Day

I wish everyone a happy and safe Independence Day. I hope that today you may take a look back into the history of our great nation to see that our founding fathers based our government upon Christian principles and our laws upon the Ten Commandments, and our constitition was discussed and debated over as well as prayed heavily upon as they set up a new country.

This country would be freedom for ALL. Our founding fathers devoted alot of time to prayer in making decisions about how our country would be run. They decided that prayer would be initiated every morning before our lawmakers would work which is still in progress today.

Let us never forget the sacrifices that went into making and keeping this nation free. We have gone through alot in the last two centuries. We went through the Revolutionary War, the civil war that split the nation, World War I, World WAr II, Korea, Vietnam, The Gulf War, and now Iraq again. We have been in wars and have endured the trying rule of foreign dictators, the persistant arrogance of terrorism, and the constant persecution of Chrsitianity, but we have and I hope will always prevail above evil, above communism, and above the threat of anything that stands in the way of freedom.

As long as we always remember that GOD is and always will be in control of every situation, that will be true FREEDOM indeed.

In the news

Thursday, Canada voted for same-sex marriage to be legalized despite overwhelming opposition from religious conservatives and now religious leaders are considering targeting these responsible for deafeat in upcoming elections.

While same-sex marrige is now legal in Canada, many worry that preists will be forced to perform these unlwaful and disgraceful ceremonies. The law states that it is an option for preists to perform a ceremony for same-sex couples and they will NOT be forced to do so.

I can see that these people are taking things like this in increments. Next, they may try to force preists into performing ceremonies and label it “discrimination” if they don’t.

What we have to worry about now if the activist liberal judges looking to Canada and other nation for the basis of law that will strike down any amendment banning same-sex marriage in a state as they have been doing. That’s why we need to have a Federal Marriage Amendment in which a jugge cannot touch. For furthur info on this amendment, go to www.afa.net
